"There were massive protests against the Tsar in Petersburg? Why?"

In the majestic and magnificent Palace of Versailles, Augustus of the Roman Empire asked the same question repeatedly.  "Before today, the Roman Empire seemed to be only one step away from becoming the hegemon of the Western world - the hateful British Empire on the other side of the strait finally collapsed. A revolution broke out in London, the British royal family and cabinet fled, and the English Revolutionary Committee announced that it would take over power.  .  Although the British royal family did not flee to Rome as previously agreed but their whereabouts are unknown, this was not a problem at all for the Roman Empire.

It is too easy to find a king for Britain. Victoria and Albert¡¯s two daughters both married in Germany, and Victoria¡¯s uncle is still king of Hanover and Belgium.  If that doesn't work, there is still a Jacobite heir to the British throne. In short, he must be able to find a British king.

So Napoleon IV didn¡¯t care too much about where the British royal family went?  So what if they defect to the Chinese?  Nothing more than another Jacobite.  Now there is only one question before the Roman Eastern Empire: when to send troops to extinguish the British revolutionary regime and establish a pro-Roman and responsible British government But just when the Roman Empire was gearing up to take over Britain, Russia actually appeared again  The beginning of revolution!

"Why do the citizens of Petersburg oppose the Tsar? They don't farm. What does the All-Russian Agrarian Reform Law have to do with them?"

    Napoleon IV asked loudly.

"Your Majesty, the citizens of Petersburg rose up and made trouble because there was no food." Immediately, the minister of the Roman Empire, Augustus, answered the problem.

"There is no food? How is that possible? Haven't you already sent food to the Russians?" Napoleon IV looked at the tribune standing next to him and asked in a deep voice.

"It has already been sent. 200,000 tons of flour and 10,000 tons of Napoleon butter arrived in Sevaspor two weeks ago."

"Then how come there is nothing to eat? Have you already finished eating?" Napoleon IV roared and asked.

The combined population of the four major cities of Petersburg, Moscow, Constantinople and Kiev is only 3 to 4 million.  200,000 tons of wheat and 10,000 tons of butter are enough for them to waste for a month, right?  There is no reason to finish it in 2 weeks?  AndRoma can give you more after you finish eating!  As for making a revolution just for a bite to eat?

"No. I haven't finished eating. The flour and butter we sent are still piled in the warehouse of Sevaspor." The Marquis of Montauban said helplessly.

"What?" Napoleon IV rolled his eyelids.  "Why not send it to Petersburg? Isn't there a famine in Petersburg?"

¡°Because of the strike, railway workers across Russia are on strike!¡±

"Strike? Why strike? Do you want a wage increase?"

"No, it is said that it is because there is no bread"

    ¡°There¡¯s no bread¡ doesn¡¯t Sevaspor have flour and butter?¡±

"Because the railway workers are on strike and cannot be transported!" the Marquis of Montauban said with a wry smile.

"This workers' movement is so inexplicable" Napoleon IV was also speechless.  Sevaspor clearly had flour and butter, but it couldn't be delivered because of the strike, and the reason for the strike was that the workers couldn't get flour and butter!

"Are all Russians hopeless fools?" Napoleon IV finally came to a conclusion.

"No, they are not fools, but there are people who are plotting to overthrow the Tsarist Russian government!" Marquis Montauban said gloomily, "And it is certain. The Tsarist Russian government has lost the ability to control the situation, and the majority of Russian workers and farmers have begun to  The Tsarist Russian government is completely disappointed, and the Tsarist rule may be difficult to maintain unless we send troops to intervene! "

"Intervention in Russiabut Britain also needs to intervene!" Napoleon IV's face suddenly darkened, and he said angrily, "My Lord Tribune, do you think we have enough troops to intervene in the revolutions of Tsarist Russia and Britain at the same time?  Andthe rebellions in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay also needed Roman troops to suppress!¡±

Napoleon IV¡¯s questioning made the Marquis of Montauban¡¯s mouth full of bitterness. Who brought the British Revolution and the Russian Revolution together?  Moreover, there is an ambitious mother and son in the Americas, and the defenses of New France and the United Kingdom of Central America also need to be strengthened.  In the past two months, 200,000 troops have been transferred from the Eastern Empire to these two places.  Moreover, Germany and Austria have to guard against it. The Eastern Empire¡¯s military strength is really not very rich now!

"Your Majesty. We must choose between Britain and Russia." The Marquis of Montauban sighed. No one understands the delicate situation currently facing the Roman Empire better than him.  This empire looks extremely bright, but its foundation is very weak and cannot be combined with a world war.Compared with the Great China Empire that was polished by war!  The failure of an intervention is likely to make Rome's internal and external enemies ready to take action!  The current chaos in the four South American countries is difficult to resolve, which has caused the outside world to place a big question mark on the force of the Roman Empire.  If we were to fall into the quagmire of two military interventions at the same time, the consequences would be hard to imagine.

While everyone in the conference room was waiting for Augustus to make his final choice, a burst of hurried footsteps once again brought bad news to the Roman Empire.

"Your Majesty, an urgent message has been sent from Petersburg. Nicholas II has passed away! There has been a riot in Petersburg. The rebels have invaded the Winter Palace. The whereabouts of Grand Duchess Alexandra and important members of the Tsarist royal family are unknown!"

"What are you talking about!" Napoleon IV jumped up suddenly, grabbed the collar of the secretary who reported the message and shouted, "Where is the Grand Duchess?"

"I don't know, no one knows where she went?" the secretary spread his hands and smiled bitterly, "The telegram said that the Tsarist Russian government announced the death of the Tsar this morning, and announced that Grand Duchess Alexandra would ascend the throne.  Her Majesty the Empress Alexandra I. As a result, the Guards refused to be loyal They said that the Grand Duchess was an illegitimate daughter and not a bloodline of Nicholas II. Then there was a mutiny and defected to the side of the Petersburg rebels and began to attack.  The Winter Palace was occupied in less than half an hour. Now an organization calling itself the All-Russian Revolutionary Committee has taken control of the entire city of Petersburg and announced that it has taken over the Russian power! "

Another revolutionary committee!  Why are there so many revolutionary committees in this world?

Napoleon IV already hates the "Revolutionary Committee" a little now. Won't these revolutionaries come one by one?  Isn't it too much to have three revolutions happening at the same time?

"Your Majesty, we need to immediately dispatch troops to Russia to intervene, at least to firmly control Constantinople and Russian Asia Minor!" The Marquis of Montauban immediately suggested in a deep voice after thinking for a while.

"What about the UK? Do you really not care?"

"We can first control Ireland and support the establishment of an Irish kingdom, and then slowly wait for the opportunity to interfere with Britain." The Marquis of Montauban paused, "In addition, we should not take independent action on the Russian issue.  The policy must bring together the German Empire and China.¡±

"Yes, we must win over Germany!" Although Napoleon IV was very happy with his victory, he was not a fool. He also knew that Russia was a very vast country. Once trouble broke out, it would be difficult for Rome alone to pacify it.  But he is still unwilling to involve China.

"Your Majesty!" At this time, someone hurried in, "I have just received news that the German Imperial Government has agreed to a ceasefire and peace talks with the Russian Revolutionary Committee!"

    Another bad news!

    Damn Germans!

Napoleon IV was so angry that he almost fainted. In his heart, he scolded William I and Bismarck¡¯s eighteenth generation ancestors because he knew that the Germans had been colluding with the revolutionary forces in Russia.  In this Russian revolution, maybe the German gold mark is at work!

?Obviously, the Germans were unwilling to see Rome and Russia unite, so they strongly supported the Russian revolutionaries.

"Then take down Constantinople and Russian Asia Minor first! Then find me Queen Alexandra, Rome needs her!" Napoleon IV took a few steps back and forth before gritting his teeth and giving the order.  commanded, and then quickly disappeared in front of everyone.

    find out?

The Marquis of Montauban was about to cry. At this time, the war was in chaos. Where could he find a little girl who was a little over one year old?

    ¡¡

    "Faster, faster, faster! Faster!"

At this time, on the road north of Petersburg, several carriages were speeding along, escorted by a group of cavalry.  The carriage was clearly painted with the Romanov dynasty's logo, and the cavalry were all wearing blue uniforms of the Russian Imperial Guard.  The leader was a bearded middle-aged man, Grand Duke Alexander, the younger brother of the late Tsar Nicholas II. The Grand Duke had a gloomy face and furrowed thick eyebrows. He turned around and called everyone to speed up from time to time.

?You can see that the road bifurcates in front of you, heading east and north.

When Grand Duke Alexander arrived at the intersection, he took the lead in reining in his horse. The cavalry behind him also stopped and turned their attention to the Grand Duke.  The road to the east is to Finland, which is currently under the control of the Kingdom of Sweden. After the revolution in England, King Oscar II of Sweden finally remembered that he was actually a Roman. During this time, he was desperately trying to curry favor with Napoleon IV and beg him.  The master ignores the fault of the villain and forgives the betrayal of the Bernadotte family.  So going to Finland is like going to Rome.

The road heading north is to Arkhangelsk, which is an important city in northern Russia.?Port, direct access to the Arctic Ocean.  It's summer and parts of the Arctic Ocean are navigable, with travel to Siberia possible.

"Go north!" The Archduke pointed his horsewhip to the north, "Go to Arkhangelsk, where there are also navy and army loyal to Her Majesty the Queen. We can go to Siberia from there!" (To be continued, please search Piaotian Literature, and the novel will be updated.  Good update faster!
