The first Jin Yong novel to be adapted for the screen was "The Legend of the Condor Heroes".  It is a 2-episode Cantonese film shot by Hong Kong Emei Film Company in 1958.

Although some adapted versions are significantly different from the original work, they even just borrow its form, such as the Hong Kong movie "Ashes of Time".  But it can still be seen that Jin Yong's novels inspired the creation of other works.  For various TV and movie versions of Jin Yong's novels, please refer to the novel entries listed above.

Plagiarism and counterfeit works: In the 1980s, someone once wrote works such as "The Prequel to the Condor" and "The Prequel to the Condor" under the pseudonym Yong Gong. Both packaging and printing were very similar to Jin Yong's collection of works.  Write a plot beyond the story.

Some bookstores that rent and sell old novels still exist in Hong Kong.  In mainland China, there are also similar plagiarized works. Not only are the titles similar, but the signed authors are also very similar to Jin Yong, such as Jin Tong, Quan Yong, Jin Kang, Jin Yongxin, etc.

Ancestors of the same clan: Zha Jizuo, a celebrity at the turn of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, is one of the ancestors of Mr. Jin Yong. This person is recorded in "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio" and "Gu Sheng Xue Lian". Pu Songling praised this person for his generous gifts in his works.  Don't ask for his name.  What a heroic and heroic husband!  .

"Gu Sheng Xue Lian" records that Zha Jizuo was talented and charming.  It is often said that the eyes are too full to be rewarded; the outstanding talents in the world cannot be found from dust.  Not available.  Mr. Jin Yong also mentioned this life in his final work "The Deer and the Cauldron".

Cha Shenxing was a famous poet during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. Cha Shenxing, courtesy name Chubai, was from Haining.  Huang Zongxi was less educated.  Yu Jingtong is in "Yi".  Sex likes to write poetry.  Everywhere you go, there are chants.  Although famous, his works were deeply loved by Emperor Kangxi, and he once worked in Nanshufang.

During the Yongzheng period, Zha Siting was considered to have been decapitated by Yongzheng because of the restrictions imposed by the Wei people, and was subjected to literary inquisition.

Jin Yong¡¯s father, Cha Shuqing, was executed for counterrevolutionary crimes during the anti-revolutionary campaign launched by the Kuomintang in the early 1950s.  The famous poet Xu Zhimo is Jin Yong's cousin. Some people think that the image of Chen Jialuo in "Books and Swords of Enmity" comes from the image of Xu Zhimo in Jin Yong's mind.

Jin Yong is a distant relative of Qiong Yao, and Jin Yong¡¯s cousin is Qiong Yao¡¯s aunt.  Cha Pinzhen, the first wife of the famous military scientist Jiang Baili, was Jin Yong's distant aunt.  Therefore, Jin Yong called Jiang Baili's daughter Jiang Ying (the wife of the famous scientist Qian Xuesen) his cousin (actually not related by blood).

Jin Yong¡¯s cousinHis younger brother Cha Liangjian was the Minister of Justice of the Republic of China and President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of China. His younger brother Cha Liangzhao lives in Taiwan.

The famous modern translator and poet Mu Dan (formerly known as Zha Liangzheng) was Jin Yong¡¯s distant cousin.

Jin Yong¡¯s younger brother Cha Liangxie, whose stage name is Zhang Wenliang, was originally an actor in the Deyun Club of the cross talk society. He was the first cross talk actor He Yunwei to admire. He died of illness in 2003.

Jin Yong¡¯s cousin Jiang Fucong was the director of the National Palace Museum in Taiwan (written in the postscript of "Liancheng Jue").

Cha Cha (real name Cha Jiawen), the lead singer of the Taiwanese rock band Cherry Gang, is Jin Yong¡¯s grandniece.

    About the work:

Jin Yong's first novel "The Book of Swords and Enmities" is said to be a story that has been circulated in Jin Yong's hometown in Zhejiang since he was a child.

The postscript of "The Secret of the City" states that the source of inspiration for Jin Yong's novel came from the tragic experience of Hesheng, a long-term worker in his childhood hometown (similar to the plot of Alexandre Dumas's "Mont Cristo").  After his death, his fianc¨¦e remarried the murderer, and the murderer was also preparing to kill him in prison.

Later, Hesheng was rescued by Jin Yong's grandfather Zha Wenqing, so he worked as a long-term worker in Cha's family, but Jin Yong's parents would not treat him badly.  Jin Yong was often with him when he was a child, but he never knew his name. The above incident was what He Sheng told Jin Yong once when he was seriously ill and thought he was about to die.

It is said that while Jin Yong was writing novels, he once fell in love with a certain female star but was rejected (it should be said that there is no details, the other party should be the movie actress Xia Meng, who was already a married woman when Jin Yong met her).  Therefore, some characters in the novel have similar experiences, such as Linghu Chong, You Tanzhi, Wei Xiaobao, and Yu Yutong.

Mr. Ni Kuang, the famous science fiction and martial arts novelist, is a good friend of Jin Yong.  In 1965, he wrote "The Eight Parts of the Dragon" while Jin Yong was traveling in Europe, and he is still proud of it. However, after Jin Yong revised it, all of it was removed (but Azi's blindness remained unchanged, and Jin Yong only slightly developed the subsequent plots with it).  Revise).

It is said that Jin Yong was very fond of classical music and had excellent judgment ability.  You can just listen to a piece of music and it will tell you which work by which composer it is.

During the interview, Jin Yong thought that he was like Zhang Wuji ("The Legend of Heaven and Sword of the Dragon") and his wife was like Xia Qingqing ("The Blue Blood Sword").

In the postscript of "The Deer and the Cauldron", Jin Yong said that his favorite works are "The Legend of Heaven and Sword of the Dragon", "The Swordsman", "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" and "The Legend of the Flying Fox" (added in the postscript of the newly revised version of "The Deer and the Cauldron").  "Dragon").

In the postscript of "The Legend of Heaven and Sword of the Dragon", Jin Yong stated that his favorite female character is Xiao Zhao ("The Legend of the Heaven and the Sword of the Dragon").
