"Everyone, you must face the reality. On the Eastern Front, the German Air Force does not have enough reserve forces. In the short term, it will always be in a state where the enemy is strong and we are weak. We cannot afford to compete with the Chinese King of the Allied Forces to destroy this situation.  Next, we must first strive to maintain the presence of the German Air Force in the skies over Ukraine, so that the Allied Air Force can be involved, so that their fighters and bombers cannot appear unscrupulously on the heads of the German ground forces, but must always be on guard against the German Air Force.  sneak attack!"

Before G?ring finished speaking, Major General von Bierke sneered disdainfully, "Captain, are the mighty German fighter ace units actually reduced to a sneaky and piecemeal situation? Manfred Albrecht von Richter  If Baron Hofen is still alive, I wonder if you and your team would have the face to say this in front of him. "

"Major General, be careful what you say! I think Captain Goering's idea is in line with the current situation and the situation between ourselves and the enemy! I have decided that Captain Goering's air force will mainly deal with the Allied Air Force in small formations and guerrilla warfare.  Moreover, we will not go south first, but let Major General von Bierkai command the 41st Infantry Division to attack from the north and fight towards Kursk along Glukhov! This will at least reduce the pressure on the south!"

General William Greiner made the final decision on Kiev¡¯s battle plan.

? 12:00 on August 1, 1918, in the territory of the Volga Federation, Kamensk Yehtinsky, Southwestern Front Eastern Route Army Headquarters

"Qigu¨¤iWhy did Samara make such a decision? Is it because General Utsunomiya can't deal with the two guys Oba and Fujii?" The former enemy commander-in-chief of the Eastern Route Army of the Allied Southwest Front and the Japanese 12th Division  The regiment leader, Lieutenant General Shibagoro, circled in front of the combat map with his hands behind his back. In the conference room, all generals from the brigade and above of the Japanese 12th Division were present, as well as generals from the Chinese 3rd Armored Regiment and the Federal Tsaritsyn Group Army.  Got up and attended this emergency military meeting.

The Eastern Route Army of the Allied Southwest Front is composed of the Japanese 12th Division as the core. The division commander, Lieutenant General Shibagoro, originally served as the former enemy commander of the East Route Army. The Chief of Staff is also Colonel Seishiro Itagaki, who was parachuted from the Allied Forces Headquarters and a Japanese infantryman.  The Twelfth Division of the Japanese Army In Wang Geng's previous life, it was the famous Kurume Division. This Twelfth Division was established in 1898 and was mainly composed of soldiers from Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki (northern Kyushu)  , including part of Oita Prefecture) officers and soldiers.

Fukuoka has had considerable economic and cultural exchanges with China and North Korea since ancient times, and Fukuoka people are considered to be very open and humane.  Among them, Saga Prefecture was formerly the Nabeshima Domain, and the samurai of the Nabeshima Domain have always been famous for their loyalty to the monarch.  In addition, in Japan, there is a proverb that "no grass grows where the Saga samurai walked", which symbolizes the thoroughness of the Saga people.

At the end of the shogunate, Nagasaki had extensive economic and cultural exchanges with China and the Netherlands. Before the Japanese 12th Division entered Siberia, it was tasked with dispatching troops to Vladivostok. Of course, after conquering the Vladivostok Fortress  In the process, several teeth were knocked out by the old Maozi defenders, and almost an infantry regiment was lost. However, after joining the Allied Forces on the Eastern Front, the 12th Division has been replenished and is basically fully equipped.  Full.

Shibagoro's 12th Division is under the jurisdiction of: 12th Infantry Brigade (14th Infantry Regiment, 47th Infantry Regiment), 24th Infantry Brigade (24th Infantry Regiment, 48th Infantry Regiment), Fortress  Artillery Regiment, 12th Cavalry Battalion

The 12th Artillery Brigade, the 12th Engineer Brigade; the 12th Heavy Transport Brigade

The 12th Division has about 24,400 people, almost the size of six regiments. In terms of number of people, it can only be regarded as a B division. However, it is the elite of Japan's standing divisions. The leader of the division is the famous Chinese  Army Lieutenant General Tongshiba Goro.

Speaking of which, Shibagoro was the earliest "China expert" in the Japanese Army. In 1900, when the Boxer Rebellion was wreaking havoc on the foreigners, he was serving as the attach¨¦ of the Japanese Embassy in the Qing Dynasty. With his understanding of the geography around Beijing, he properly commanded the troops protecting the embassy. In the 1950s,  During the multi-day "Fist Rebellion" when the Boxers besieged the embassy area, this man commanded a limited number of guards to protect the safety of the ministers from various countries. Afterwards, he received medals from the governments of various countries.

Moreover, Shibagoro is a rare senior general with an artillery background. He graduated from the artillery section of the third phase of the Japanese Army Non-commissioned Officer School. He has served as military attache of the Japanese embassy in the Qing Dynasty and the British Embassy, ??and as an assistant to the General Staff Headquarters for many times. In 1905, during the Russo-Japanese War, this guy was  Captain of the Field Artillery Regiment, promoted to Army Major General on November 13, 1907.

Served as the commander of Sasebo Fortress, commander of the 2nd Heavy Artillery Brigade, attached to the Staff Headquarters, commander of the 1st Heavy Artillery Brigade, and commander of Shimonoseki Fortress.  He was promoted to Army Lieutenant General in 1913 and served as the commander of the 12th Division. On May 25, 1917, he was awarded the First Class Ruibao Medal and served as the Governor of the Tokyo Garrison. He also served as the commander of the 12th Division!

??For such a character, his career in the military was not smooth. The reason was actually because he had a bad background. This guy came from the Meiji Restoration. The Aizu clan, the arch-rival of the Tokisa Choni clan, had a feud with the army leaders who ostracized him everywhere.  The second disadvantage is that Shibagoro did not graduate from the Japanese Army University. This is completely considered a disadvantage due to his low education. He has served as the fortress commander twice, and his future is bleak. Fortunately, Emperor Meiji still cares about him.  He was finally made the commander of the 12th Division, which lasted four years!

Shibagoro regarded the Eastern Route Army's operations in the Ukraine Campaign as the phoenix nirvana journey of the 12th Division. The greatest hope to wash away the shame of Vladivostok and the inaction in the Battle of Ufa was in the Ukrainian campaign before him, commanded by Oba Jiro.  In his opinion, the progress of the Central Route Army in Kharkov is not worth mentioning. The Ukrainian National Army is just a puppet army at best, and its combat effectiveness is not much better than that of the Soviet Red Army. However, the battle of Kharkov was won in three days and four nights.  .

Anyone with a discerning eye can see that although Kharkov was captured, it was the Allied Air Force and the Chinese Armored Forces that made great efforts to achieve victory, while Lieutenant General Oba's Japanese Third Division suffered a loss of troops and generals, otherwise it would have lost its vitality.  We will not bother to transfer the main force of the West Route Army eastward. Fortunately, the Samara Allied Forces Headquarters issued an order to reorganize the front lines into mixed brigades. The Seventh Division of the West Route Army and the Third Division of the Central Route Army were the first to bear the brunt.  Integration of the group.

As for the Eastern Route Army located in Yehtinsky, it has just been renamed the Donetsk Cluster, and Shibagoro is still the cluster commander, responsible for directing the attack in the Donetsk direction, and Itagaki Seishiro is the cluster chief of staff, but  The Donetsk Cluster will also combine and strengthen the two infantry brigades of the 12th Division into a mixed brigade, which is good news for the brigade commanders of the two infantry brigades.
