"Master?" Nanny Xiaowan called out strangely. He didn't know what was going on with the noise upstairs. Sometimes the master and his wife would often make some noises in the middle of the night, but tonight it seemed a little more intense.  The baby was also woken up, and the nanny made a glass of milk for the baby. However, she heard the noise upstairs getting louder, so she picked up the baby and came up.  What's that lying on the ground?  Is it the master?

Hearing the voice, Mr. Zhan slowly raised his head from the man. Is there another one?  Sitting up, Mr. Zhan didn't want to waste any more time, and turned around. Xiaowan only felt a gust of wind, and a figure had arrived in front of him.

"Ah" Xiaowan screamed in fear when she saw the man's bloodthirsty eyes and the blood on his face.  Almost at the same time, the baby in her arms, holding a bottle and sucking milk, burst into loud cries.

When the cry rang out, Mr. Zhan felt like there was a thunderclap in his ears. With a jolt, the whole world suddenly became clear before his eyes. Everything just seemed like a dream, real but unbelievable.

Mr. Zhan looked at Xiao Wan's running back, then looked back at the woman on the bed who had begun to turn pale. The man lying on the ground in a pool of blood, blood was gurgling out from the wound on his neck, because it was still there.  Not dead, the man's body was convulsing uncontrollably.  Did you do all this yourself?  The smell of blood filled his mouth and nose, and Master Zhan suddenly felt his stomach churn.

There was a noise downstairs. Xiaowan's shouting obviously called the security guards in. Mr. Zhan stumbled to steady his body and mind. Thinking of what he had done that night, Mr. Zhan knew that he could not be  catch.

When the security guards rushed to the bedroom on the second floor, they only had time to see a figure running out of the balcony door. But when they rushed to the door, the person disappeared like a ghost. In the dim sky before dawn, one or two figures appeared.  A bat flapped its wings and flew away silently.

Today's sun is particularly dazzling. Mr. Zhan tightly wrapped his windbreaker and walked in the early morning sunshine and cold wind. The blood on his face had been wiped clean by him. His pale face and black eyes with a strange blue light all proved that he was the one last night.  The bloodthirsty demon has left him.  Somewhat aimlessly, Mr. Zhan suddenly felt that the scenery in front of him was familiar. He unknowingly returned to Wang Ziqiang's house. Do you want to go back?  Mr. Zhan asked himself in his heart. After last night, he suddenly felt a little scared. Is it true that he could not control the nature of a vampire at all? It seemed that he would be invincible after gaining the power. It was just wishful thinking.  Mr. Zhan looked at the window of Wang Ziqiang's cabin, and suddenly felt that there was a giant monster with his mouth open waiting for his return. He shook his head, and Mr. Zhan walked forward resolutely.

"OH, NO, he walked away from Abe~" Behind the curtains of Wang Ziqiang's cabin, Janis said to Abe in a frustrated tone.

"It doesn't matter, he will come back sooner or later." On Wang Ziqiang's sofa, Abe kept pressing the remote control in his hand, fast forwarding and playing. On the TV screen was the Raiders of the Lost Ark that Mr. Zhan had just "watched" yesterday.  There was no expression of happiness, disappointment or sadness on Abe's God-like face. His facial muscles seemed to have become necrotic due to constant monitoring and work. He just looked at Zhan Shaocheng on the screen silently, with a look in his eyes.  Thoughts.

Mr. Zhan sat in the park for a long time. The autumn grass was covered with withered yellow leaves. Mr. Zhan just watched them flutter in the wind, fall, roll along the ground, and finally land in a small puddle of water.  , stranded.  His mind was blank, except for the occasional flashes of last night's images. Those images were painted a dark red color in his mind, as if he was seeing them through a screen made of blood.  Taking a deep breath of the sweet autumn air, Mr. Zhan forced himself not to think about it. His toes were numb and still a little cold. Mr. Zhan stood up from the curb and walked slowly past the old man doing morning exercises.  Old ladies, staggering children chasing balloons, uncles selling baked sweet potatoes, sanitation workers cleaning fallen leaves, these most common and ordinary people in daily life made him feel inexplicably at ease at the moment. The scene last night seemed to be far away from him in a dream.  It seems to be getting further and further away.

¡°Bang Bang Bang¡± Zhang Shu¡¯s door rang for a long time before he had no choice but to get up from the bed.  As soon as he opened the door, a package of fragrant things was handed into his arms.

"Roasted sweet potatoes? You came here early in the morning just to deliver roasted sweet potatoes to me?" Zhang Shu almost collapsed at Master Zhan's weird behavior.  But Mr. Zhan ignored him at all and went straight to the sofa in the living room and lay down. Because no one was responsible for the hygiene of the living room, a layer of dust rose up from the unclean sofa.

Zhang Shu saw that Mr. Zhan was not in high spirits and was too lazy to pay attention to him. He went back to bed to catch up on his sleep, then got up again to see if Mr. Zhan was still there.?I kept lying on the sofa in the same position as before, and seemed to have fallen asleep. Then I stepped on my slippers to wash up, make noodles, turn on the computer, play games, and watch movies.

And Mr. Zhan was lying on the sofa, staring, listening to Zhang Shu's voice, guessing what he was doing at this time. These voices from the human world were extremely precious to Mr. Zhan at this moment.

"Oh, I'll go, it's so fucking cruel, this is a murderous maniac." Zhang Shu muttered to himself, which caught Mr. Zhan's attention. He hugged the cushion and walked into Zhang Shu's room. Zhang Shu looked back at him.  "Are you awake? Oh my, there was big news in our city last night, did you know?" Zhang Shu said and stepped aside, revealing the computer screen.

Mr. Zhan hugged the cushion and looked stupidly at the unclear video images on the computer. Bodies and blood stains on the ground, police cars with red and blue lights flashing, police officers in uniforms walking around, and crowds of onlookers, because there was no stereo  , Mr. Zhan only saw in the video "Many male corpses were found unexpectedly in the city's bar streets."

"Suspected to be a gang fight." Mr. Zhan took two steps back and fell down on the bed. He had worked hard all morning to make things he had ignored suddenly appear vividly in his mind.

"Oh my, it's so fucking fierce." After watching the video, Zhang Shu took off his headphones and turned back to Master Zhan.  "One person killed more than twenty people. This is too outrageous." Different from his excitement, the corner of Mr. Zhan's mouth raised unnaturally, thinking it was a smile.  "You didn't wake up?" Zhang Shu asked strangely.

"Yes." Zhan Shao nodded numbly, then walked back to the sofa with the sofa cushion in his arms, and carried it down until nightfall. Only then did Zhan Shao finally get up after spending another afternoon trying to forget last night.
