All kinds of strange plants grow randomly in the muddy swamp. Some of them look like ordinary trees, with their crowns blocking the sun, but their roots are like human beings, with two legs covered with blood-colored vines, burrowing into the mud.  I don¡¯t know where to stretch, there are many similar creatures, each of which adds countless mysterious and terrifying colors to the swamp.

Vicente hid behind a stone that was half a man tall. The mud under his feet was dry and solid, which was rare in this area. His nose was filled with a stench that made people dizzy.

At this time, he sat paralyzed on the ground without daring to move, looking forward with trembling eyes. On the black mud, a python as thick as a bucket was swimming toward him, its eyes like candlesticks, emitting light.  The unusual green light and terrifying aura caused all surrounding swamp creatures to stay away.

Vicente, who has been dealing with corpses all year round and has recently started dissecting, is not timid, but his reason cannot resist the intimidating aura exuded by this extraordinary python. This is an instinctive reaction of the body. To him,  Ordinary people who are not even knight squires or magic apprentices have no way to escape.

With his legs paralyzed, his whole body trembling, and his teeth chattering, Vicente wanted to turn around and run away, but he didn't even have the strength to stand up. He could only watch the python getting closer to him.

He had never stayed in the depths of the swamp for so long in the past. He usually followed familiar roads, carefully looking for special plants nearby, and then returned immediately. But this time, he had lived here for five full days, picking plants along the way.  The fruits were almost finished, so naturally, they encountered one of the terrifying creatures deep in the swamp.

The black giant python approached Vicente leisurely, as if preparing to enjoy today's lunch. Gradually, the distance became shorter and shorter. Its strange skin covered with patterns and scales, and the fishy smell in its mouth, deeply impressed Vicente.  Center's mind.

Just when Vicente was in despair.  The front half of the black python suddenly stood upright, its crimson tongue stretched and contracted with a circle of green light, and its huge eyes stared at the mud behind the stone.

After a few minutes, the black python turned around and ran away in panic!

Vicente looked at this scene in disbelief. This terrifying python actually escaped like this?  I haven¡¯t done anything yet!

After staying for a long time, Vicente cast his eyes on the mud behind the stone.  A thought suddenly came to my mind: "Could it be the magic book I buried and the pale palm that scared off this monster? But they are still in the mud!"

Gradually, he came up with a guess. Perhaps the black python's senses, much more powerful than his own, had touched the "breath of death."

Perhaps, in its eyes, this side of the stone has become the underworld or hell!

After Vicente recovered, he tried hard to resist the urge to dig out the magic book.  Walk out of the swamp along the secret path you discovered.

After half a day, he quietly hid at the edge of the swamp, but there was no familiar mark on the trees.

"Is it because the matter is so troublesome that the Baron can't guarantee it?" Vicente thought in frustration. After all, being caught desecrating a corpse before results were produced was a standard evil act.  Even if you are not a magician, you will be tied to the stake.

He sighed and decided to wait another five days, so he returned to the swamp, collecting food along the way.

    ¡¡¡¡

"What? Shirley is dead?" Baron Brunzel looked at the night watchman in front of him, as if he was still dreaming.

This night watchman has two huge eyes, a broad forehead, and a mouth full of canine teeth.  When he doesn't speak, he gives the impression of being honest and honest. Once he speaks and his canine teeth are exposed, he becomes extremely ferocious, so he looks like this.  Baron Brunzel is a nightmare.

"Mad Dog" drew a cross on his chest: "Yes, she died under divine magic in order to keep the secret of the evil magician."

"You are crazy, crazy! You actually used torture on her!" The Baroness was the first to scream.

Baron Brenzel retained his last bit of sanity.  Staring at the night watchman, he said: "In other words, Shirley actually said nothing. In other words, she was still a pure believer before her death. You don't have any evidence!"

The anger in his chest is burning. Even if he is killed in front of the Kux Gate, he must let the Grand Duke and all the nobles confirm this issue. The night watchmen of the church are crazy and they must be contained and eradicated!

"Mad Dog" made the sign of the cross again: "The Lord told us that only the devil's power could enable her to withstand the torture and confess nothing, and only the devil's power could allow her to die before she was about to confess and keep the secret."  , therefore, there is no doubt that your daughter was seduced and corrupted by the devil and had an affair with a magician."

"Crazy, really crazy"Hearing these unreasonable words, Baron Brenzel felt more and more that the world was unreal, so that he did not roar, refute, or attack.

"Mad Dog" chuckled: "Based on this, we have reason to suspect that you are colluding with the magician. Your agreement to marry Shirley to Vicente, the evil magician, is proof. Please return to the tribunal with us. This is the main reason."  will, is the command of the bishops.¡±

"What?" Baron Brenzel and his wife felt that the sky was falling and the earth was falling. Before they could digest the tragic news of the tragic death of their only daughter, they encountered the crazy night watchman again.

The night watchmen swarmed up and arrested the baron and baroness.

"No, let go, we are nobles!"

    "We are nobles!"

    ¡¡¡¡

In a villa in the city, Andrew and his two companions listened to the report in stunned silence.

"How is it possible? How could Shirley die?"

¡°They didn¡¯t have any evidence, so they just arrested the Baron and his wife?¡±

"In the future, they can do this to us in the future"

The three people's faces were extremely pale, and their bodies were shaking involuntarily. The "false accusations" they and others made against Vicente seemed to have led to a monster more terrifying than the devil, which was the Night Watchman named Pure Faith!

    ¡¡¡¡

¡°Humph, their bones are not as strong as their daughters.¡± The interrogator walked out with a smile that made people shudder.

"Is there any good result?" "Mad Dog" asked urgently.

The interrogator nodded: "A few years ago, during the stalemate in the Battle of Alto, they secretly contacted a certain magician. However, when the Death Lord was killed by the Pope, they severed this contact."

"Very good, this shows that our method of fighting against evil is very effective, and we have dug out the hidden degenerates like the Baron and his wife." "Mad Dog" was extremely proud of his method of arresting people first and then interrogating them to find evidence. He believed that he was waiting for the vigil.  People with the most devout faith can directly identify the fallen without external evidence.  Therefore, this style of doing things is most suitable for yourself and others. Of course, it is also convenient for making contributions.

The interrogator chuckled: "I have long disliked those wavering nobles."

"Hang their daughter's body on the rack for a week to see if Vicente can be lured out." "Mad Dog" said with a ferocious smile, "As for them, I think the executioner's hands can't wait any longer."

    ¡¡¡¡

Andrew paced back and forth in the hall anxiously, waiting for news from Cooks.  His two companions slumped on the sofa, completely unable to accept the situation.

"Master, there is news from Cooks, asking the nobles to exercise restraint." The butler walked in panting.

Andrew stopped and fell weakly on the sofa: "I knew it, I knew it"

You may not have been able to see clearly before.  But after the night watchmen captured the baron and his wife, they were furious and discovered to their horror that even if all the nobles united, they could not compete with the church's clergy and night watchmen!

¡°Dong-dong-dong,¡± there was a sudden knock on the door.

"Who?" the housekeeper asked in surprise.

"I'll get my reward." "Mad Dog" appeared at the door.

Andrew and others jumped up in fright: "You?"

"What? You want to default on your debt?" "Mad Dog" said with a kind smile.

"No, no, this is the balance." Andrew took out a money bag full of gold.

"Mad Dog" threw the money bag.  After weighing it, he said: "Yes, very sincere."

Then he said with a half-smile: "Thank you so much for what happened this time, Mr. Andrew, you made us understand our own power."

After saying that, he turned around and left, leaving Andrew standing there as if petrified. The breeze blew through the open door, making Andrew feel cold both physically and mentally.

    ¡¡¡¡

A few days later, Vicente emerged from the swamp again.  Still no mark found.

¡°Did something unexpected happen?¡± The more he thought about it, the more worried he became, and decided to go back quietly to take a look.

Taking advantage of the darkness, he sneaked back to his village. Just as he was planning to "kidnap" a child and question him carefully, he suddenly heard two peasant women talking.

"Hey, Miss Shirley is so pitiful. I don't believe she was seduced and corrupted by the devil" Under the propaganda of the church.  Even a peasant woman knows how to use such literal words as seduction and corruption.

"Yes, Miss Shirley is so gentle and kind, just like an angel. It was all that damn Vicente who deceived her.""Otherwise, she wouldn't have died in the court and been tied to the stake" another peasant woman agreed.

    Dead, dead, Shirley is dead?

This news hit Vicente like a giant hammer in the brain, making him dizzy and almost falling out of his hiding place.

The next conversation between the peasant women made him understand what had happened. His face became extremely pale, his eyes were expressionless, and he walked back to the swamp without knowing anything else outside.

Perhaps thanks to the blessing of the goddess of luck, he actually walked back to the depths of the swamp alive.

"No!" After a long time, a heart-rending scream rang out from the swamp. It was more sad and sad than the lone wolf screaming at the moon.

Vicente¡¯s face was filled with tears, and his eyes were filled with sparks of extreme hatred. He lay on the ground and dug hard into the soil with his hands. Blood seeped out from between his nails and dyed the area red.

A few minutes later, two mysterious books with black covers and a pale palm appeared in Vicente's hands.

The rest of the expression on his face has faded, leaving only numbness, despair and resentment.

    ¡¡¡¡

"You didn't come?" "Mad Dog" secretly looked at the corpse on the torture rack.

"Animal Tamer" smiled and said: "Such a simple trap can be easily seen through, and magicians are very cunning."

"Poor girl, she values ??feelings so much." "Mad Dog" spread his hands.

The rack was only used to "purify" living people, so the corpses were not burned.

Many citizens were watching, despising this evil person who colluded with the devil and magicians. Only a handful of people who knew Shirley sighed secretly, but they did not dare to defend her.

In the crowd, a man with a "swarthy" face looked at Shirley's body with love, sympathy and remorse, then gritted his teeth, turned around, and walked towards the city gate without looking back.

After leaving the city gate, he suddenly took off the cross he wore on his chest and held it tightly in his right hand, so that the tip pierced the palm of his hand and blood stained the surface red.

He calmly inserted the cross on the wall next to the city gate, and then walked slowly and slowly towards the gradually dimming distance.

    I will return!

I will come back to revive you!

I will return with death and destruction!
