Snap, the sound of the door lock twisting open was extremely loud in the silent night.

A little boy with blond hair and golden eyes was originally lying on the sofa, half asleep and half awake. Now he turned over and sat up. His face was full of excitement and happiness, and he ran towards the door with a look of excitement.

The door opened, and a blond woman wearing a lavender palace dress walked in. She was bright and tall, with two less obvious blushes on her face, and a dignified smile with a bit of charm.

"Edward, are you still awake?" This mature and beautiful lady saw the little boy running towards her, and she was obviously surprised.

The little boy smiled slightly shyly: "Mom, I want to wait for you to come back"

Suddenly, his words came to an abrupt end because he saw a tall man standing behind his mother. His features were as sharp as a knife, handsome and cold, like an iceberg that had not melted for thousands of years, and he had a very special short silver-white hair.

The man suddenly showed a gentle smile, like the arrival of spring and the melting of ice and snow. He took the blonde lady's hand, bowed and kissed her: "It's my honor to know you. I wish you a good dream tonight."

¡°Nice to meet you too, Viscount.¡± The blond lady responded with a smile and watched the man in formal attire leave.

"Mom, who is he?" The little boy Edward didn't know why he hated the man just now.

"Well, there is a foreign viscount I met at the dance today, whose surname is Carnaldia." The blond lady pretended to be calm, but she couldn't help but raise the corners of her mouth. Then she said with a pretty face, "Edward, now  It's close to twelve o'clock, two hours beyond the normal sleep time. Where is Adeline? I want to ask her why she agreed to you waiting for me! You are the only direct bloodline left in this family, so you can't be too willful."

"I, I sneaked out of the room secretly, it's none of Adeline's business" The little boy Edward looked pitiful, knowing that his mother was only giving him a verbal lesson.

    ¡¡

"Master, maybe you will have a new father." A maid whispered to Edward, who had grown a lot taller.

Edward, who is still young, has a gloomy face, showing a sense of irritability. In the past two years, his mother and the Viscount of Carnaldia have become closer and closer. It seems that there is a real trend of getting together. He gets less and less from his mother.  He loves her so much that he has less and less time to chat and play with her. He is really a hateful man!

"Although after the master was called by the Lord, it was very hard for the wife to support the family, and she should be blessed for pursuing her own happiness. But you must remember, young master, that you are the only heir to the title and inheritance, and you cannot let Viscount Karenldia  Transfer the property bit by bit." The maid who was loyal to the family reminded Edward to take precautions before it happened.

Edward blurted out: "Is he approaching my mother because of money and titles? No, I must stop him!"

After saying that, the boy ran towards the hall in a hurry, leaving the stunned maid behind. I, I just remind you to pay attention, I didn¡¯t mean it.

"Woo, mom, I was wrong, I shouldn't have been rude to the Viscount!" Not long after, Edward's cry came from the living room, and he was pushed down on the sofa by his mother and beaten hard.  Butt, I cried so hard.

The blond lady snorted and said apologetically to the iceberg-like Viscount Carnaldia: "I'm sorry, I didn't teach the child well."

"It's nothing, children at this age are so naughty." Viscount Carenoldia said with gentle eyes.

"Edward, apologize to the Viscount quickly." the blond lady ordered.

Edward sobbed and apologized, then when his mother wasn't paying attention, he made a fierce look and said in a very low voice: "I won't let you take mom away!"

Viscount Karenldia still had no expression, as if he were looking at a kitten that showed its teeth and claws but had no actual deterrent effect.

    ¡¡

"From now on, you will call me Viscount Daddy." The blond lady said to Edward a little shyly.

Edward pouted and tried to keep his face expressionless: "Yes, Mom."

Viscount Carenoldia, who was sitting across the dining table, was cutting a bloody steak and said to Edward seriously like a real father: "Your current knight teacher is not good enough. I will teach you personally starting tomorrow."

"I will definitely work hard." Edward quietly clenched his fists and vowed to make this damn man angry during training.

    ¡¡

¡°Bang, Edward was thrown to the ground and cried in pain.

"If crying is useful, what's the use of swordsmanship?" Viscount Carenoldia said without any regret, "So, you are just a child, not a man. A real man will not cry even if he bleeds."

?Edward turned over and stood up, staring at him fiercely.

Viscount Karenldia waved the wooden sword in his hand: "Don't you hate me? Don't you want to drive me away? Then use the knight sword in your hand to do it! Or are you a coward who likes to fail?"

Edward let out a ferocious shout, raised his wooden sword and rushed towards Viscount Carnaldia. He was knocked to the ground again and again, and stood up again and again.

"I won't compromise with you!" he thought.

    ¡¡

In the church square, a cross stood there, with a mature and beautiful blond lady tied to it.

"Mom! Mom!" Under the control of several knights and attendants, Edward struggled towards the cross with tears and fear on his face.

The bishop held the Holy Emblem of Truth, drew a cross on his chest, pointed at the blond lady and said: "As a noble, she fell into darkness and became a slave of vampires, trying to turn the Lord's lamb into vampire food."

The blonde lady seemed to have lost her soul and stared blankly at the bishop without saying a word, while Edward retorted loudly: "No! No! My mother has never hurt anyone!"

The bishop ignored Edward completely and continued: "You are evil and dirty, but the Lord is merciful and merciful. Purification is His gift and is your way to heaven. I want to ask you, are you  Are you willing to repent and wish to prostrate yourself at the feet of the Lord again?¡±

"If, if I repent, can Edward get amnesty? He is just a child and doesn't understand anything!" The blond lady seemed to come to life.

The bishop made the sign of the cross: "The Lord is just and strict. As long as Edward can survive the burning, it means that he is not guilty."

The blond lady laughed sadly: "Hahaha, let me answer you, I would rather pursue it in hell than lose myself in heaven!"

"Sinner, then go to hell and repent." The bishop said in a cold tone and sent out a holy light, lighting the torture rack.

"No!" Edward cried bitterly, heartbreakingly, as if he could see the gentle eyes looking at him through the burning flames.

I don¡¯t know how long it took, but Edward fainted from crying. Suddenly, a voice sounded in his ear: "I'm sorry, I'm late."

Edward struggled to open his eyes and saw the man who caused his mother to be burned to death. He gritted his teeth and said, "It was all you! If it weren't for you, how could my mother be tied to the stake?"

"I'm sorry, I'm late." Viscount Carenoldia's face looked gloomy, like an iceberg that had an avalanche.

"Are you late?" Edward sneered beyond his age, "What a good reason!"

Then he spat out word by word: "You are the murderer of my mother!"

Viscount Karenldia sighed: "No matter what you say, I will take good care of you."

He lowered his head and leaned towards Edward's neck. His four teeth suddenly grew longer: "From now on, you will be Viscount Carnaldia."

A stinging pain came from his neck, Edward's expression was numb, and his eyes were still filled with sparks of hatred.

    ¡¡¡¡

The cold and dreamy silver moon hangs high in the sky, creating silvery white ripples on the smooth, mirror-like surface of the lake.

The blond and golden-eyed Viscount Carenoldia stood quietly in front of the floor-to-ceiling window holding a red wine glass, admiring the beautiful scenery.

"Master, are you remembering the past again?" The old housekeeper Ned came in from outside.

Viscount Karenldia nodded expressionlessly: "Hate will never be forgotten."

The old housekeeper didn¡¯t know how to persuade him, so he could only start from a practical point of view: ¡°Master, you are just a great knight. The old viscount¡¯s strength is close to that of an eighth-level heavenly knight.¡±

"If you are not even afraid of death, what is there to be afraid of?" The handsome and masculine Viscount Carnaldia suddenly smiled, "Such an irresponsible man will be killed sooner or later. I will also train myself. I hope  Become a Sky Knight as soon as possible.¡±

"But you are his descendant, and you have no intention of resisting him." Ned said again.

Viscount Karenldia breathed out and did not continue the topic. He turned around and entered a secret room. He looked at the handsome man with silver hair and silver eyes in the portrait and said: "Grandpa, although I have not seen you many times, but  I can feel your love and hope to follow you and get your guidance"

After "praying", Viscount Carenoldia suddenly focused his eyes and saw an extra wine glass on the table. There was a viscous red liquid in it, with countless symbols floating in it like hallucinations.

"Is this?" he said in shock.

Old housekeeper Ned¡¯s eyes widened: ¡°This is, this is the blood origin of the first generation of vampires. Old, has the old count been here?¡±

"Grandpa?" Viscount Karenldia looked around, but unfortunately found nothing, but he quickly laughed, "As long as I fuse this blood, I won't be afraid of that man suppressing my bloodline."

The old butler said helplessly: "The old earl's hobbies and habits have not changed at all. How can such a tragedy be interesting?"

"Kamorechuk, did you notice anything just now?" Viscount Carenoldia asked.

A dull buzzing sound sounded, as if the whole castle was shaking: "No, it's just my nose. My nose is a little itchy, sneeze!"

It sneezed heavily, making the window glass rattling.

Viscount Karenldia was silent for a moment and said half-jokingly: "The deepest impression I have on Grandpa is that he likes to observe everything in the dark, like a voyeur."

    A sneeze!

Suddenly someone sneezed on the mountain in the distance.  (To be continued. Please search Piaotian Literature, the novels will be better and updated faster!)
