The tea cup made of fine porcelain fell down and broke into several pieces.

Li Kuo looked at Gao Shi who looked flustered, and the uneasiness in his heart became stronger and stronger.  In fact, he noticed something strange from the first moment he entered the study.  Gao Shi had always sat upright before, but now he was so lazy.  That's okay. What puzzled Li Kuo the most was Gao Shi's attitude towards himself.

Although Li Kuo didn't know the reason, it must not be simple.  Why was he so uncharacteristically excited when he asked about his mother?

"Ahem, cough cough," Gao Shi waved his hand and said, "Old Madam and the others happened to go out of the city to worship Buddha today. I'm afraid Qi Lang won't be able to meet each other."

"Oh, that's it." Li Kuo's heart sank, and he nodded slightly: "That's the case, my nephew won't disturb me, and we will visit you another day."

After saying that, Li Kuo stood up and walked away with his sleeves thrown away.

Gao Shi looked at Li Kuo who left the table angrily. His throat was slightly trembling and he wanted to say something, but he finally sighed and swallowed all the words in his heart.

After coming out of the Jiedushi Mansion, Li Kuo went straight to the military camp in the south of the city.

Gao Shi's behavior was so strange that he couldn't help but be suspicious.  Now that the entire Huainan Road is under Gao Shi's rule, if he really has any thoughts, he must have a certain response plan.  The prerequisite for all responses is that you have a certain level of strength. Now strength is the army, swords and guns.

After Li Kuo discussed his thoughts with Li Sheng, Dou Qing and others, the other parties thought that what his general said was reasonable and they all said that they would listen to Li Kuo's arrangements.  Before the matter was clarified, Li Kuo did not want to do anything wrong. He only ordered the generals to act with caution and be careful about everything.  Li Kuo himself simply lived in the military camp.

The next day, Li Kuo took a hundred soldiers to visit the Jiedushi Mansion again.  The old concierge almost fell to the ground in fright when he saw this posture, and tremblingly went to report to Gao Shi.  Gao Shi didn't pause for a moment and immediately went out to greet him in person.

Li Kuo exchanged a few words with him and then went straight to the point, asking to take back his relatives.

After some hesitation, Gao Shi gave a ridiculous answer, saying that because Li Kuo had been childless for a long time, the old lady went to the Guanyin Temple in Nanshan to ask for a child.

???????????????????First worship Buddha and then worship Guanyin. This means that no one will believe it.

Li Kuo thought that Gao Shi's status as an elder was not good and he would not be too forceful, but he was really not used to Gao Shi's current behavior.

"Does Uncle Gao know when my mother will be able to return to the city?" Li Kuo raised his eyebrows and asked in a deep voice.

When Gao Shi saw Li Kuo's appearance, he probably wouldn't leave until the old lady came back, and suddenly broke out in a cold sweat.

"Qi Lang, it's inconvenient to talk outside the door, why don't we go in and talk?" Gao Shi looked at Li Kuo hopefully, with a smile on his face.

Li Kuo nodded and said: "It doesn't matter, Dou Qing, Li Sheng, you just wait outside the door of the mansion. Innocent, Xiaochun, you bring fifty people into the mansion with me!"

Facing Li Kuo¡¯s tough approach, Gao Shi was stunned for a moment.  But he obviously couldn't think of any better way, so he had to sigh and follow Li Kuo towards the house.

Gao Shi picked up a glass of freshly brewed green ant wine, raised it high to Li Kuo and said, "Qi Lang, come and drink this cup!"

Li Kuo, however, did not show too much emotion and simply poured the wine in the glass into his belly.

"Come, come, Qi Lang, let me introduce you. This is Mr. Wei Linwei, the Jianghuai interview envoy. Mr. Wei is the leader of the younger generation of the Wei family in Jingzhao. He was the governor of Nanyang earlier, and it seems that he has something to do with you.  Fanyuanyuan.¡±

Gao Shi walked up to Li Kuo, pulled his sleeves and introduced him enthusiastically, as if he was afraid that Wei Lin would feel bad about him because of Li Kuo's neglect.

Nanyang has been under the rule of Li Kuo for the past two years, and Wei Lin once served as the governor of Nanyang. If this can be regarded as a connection, then people with connections in the Tang Dynasty are afraid that the entire Zhuque Street will not be able to stand up?

"Nice to meet you!" Li Kuo obviously has no interest in the Jing Zhaowei family. Now he just wants to take his family back as soon as possible. He can't do anything else and doesn't want to.

Gao Shi smiled brightly and introduced to Wei Lin: "Master Wei, this is my nephew, Li Kuo, the training envoy of the Jianghuai regiment!"

"Humph!" Wei Lin glanced sideways at Li Kuo and snorted disdainfully.

"You!" Wang Xiaochun, who was beside Li Kuo, saw that this guy was so rude and was about to step forward and teach him a lesson.

"Xiaochun!" Li Kuo glared at Wang Xiaochun and stopped his behavior.

"I wonder why Uncle Gao brought me here? Master Wei and I have already met each other. If there is nothing else to do," Li Kuo raised his hand to Gao Shi and was about to go straight.?, but was interrupted by Wei Lin's cold words.

"General Li is in such a hurry to come to Yangzhou this time? Now that he's here, let's stay for a few more days, lest someone gossip behind our backs and say that we don't treat guests well."

Wei Lin¡¯s voice was cold, with a clear hint of disdain.

Zhou Wuxin, Wang Xiaochun and others were not willing to suffer losses. After hearing what Wei Lin said, they all stepped forward and surrounded Wei Lin.

"Hey, what does General Li mean? Could it be that he wants to rebel? When Wei was in the capital, he often heard people say that General Li supports his own troops. Could it be that those rumors are true? General Li really wants to make peace.  Lushan is second?¡±

Wei Lin was not afraid at all, he raised his eyebrows and said coldly.

"You fart!" Wang Xiaochun couldn't bear it anymore when he saw that Wei Lin had openly framed his general. He pulled out his sword with a bang and put it on Wei Lin's neck: "Are you blind? My family  The general dedicated himself to serving the Tang Dynasty through life and death, and he has added many scars to his body. But here you are chewing the root of your tongue. If he really wants to rebel, do you think your head can still be on your neck? "

Wei Lin sneered: "Why can't you stop even after Wei Mou mentioned the painful point? If you don't have this intention, why do you care about what others say? Wei Mou obeys the emperor's order and serves as the interviewer of Jianghuai Road, so he is naturally responsible  Supervise the words and deeds of all officials. General Li has a heavy army and has resisted imperial orders. Shouldn't Mr. Wei be suspicious!"

Wei Lin also refused to give in at all. When he saw that the two sides were already at odds, he simply shook off all the words.

Isn¡¯t he just a mere training envoy of Jianghuai regiment? If you want to kill him, it¡¯s as easy as squeezing an ant to death!

    PS:Hold on, it¡¯s almost over!
