In Shymkent, on the seventh day of the battle, three-quarters of the city had been captured by the Chinese army.  In just four days, the Chinese army broke through the city defense. Krolev had no way to retreat and could only lead his troops to fight in the streets.  Street fighting is a completely new field for both warring parties.  Relatively speaking, the Chinese ** team, which had received certain targeted training, had an absolute upper hand in the early stages of street fighting.  However, the Soviet army, which had no way to retreat, performed extremely tenaciously in the street fighting. The complex urban terrain did create a lot of trouble for the Chinese troops, and the casualties increased suddenly after the street fighting began.

Sun Dali, a company commander of the Third Mountain Division, is from the capital.  The turning point that changed his life was when the Autonomous Army entered Beijing and a child from a poor family got an education opportunity.  After five years of primary school, Sun Dali was considered half a cultured person. Because he could never forget the scene when he saw the army entering the city that day, he chose to join the army. Because of his outstanding performance, he was recommended to the non-commissioned officer school.

After graduating from the sergeant academy, Sun Dali started working as a deputy platoon commander. Although he had always worked hard, he never entered the Army University. After working for so many years, he became a company commander.  But Sun Dali has no regrets at all. He will never forget that one winter, his father's stooped back suddenly stopped because he saw the future and hope.

After entering the city, the casualties of Sun Dali's company gradually increased. Street fighting was characterized by chaos. He led a platoon to charge left and right for a day before being replaced to rest.  After other troops came up, they fought for another two days. The casualties far exceeded those of the Mountain Division, and the results were not as good.  Former commander Chen Changjie had no choice but to order the mountain troops to enter the city again.  Strive to clear out the Soviet troops in the city on the last day.  Sun Dali led a company of only eighty people that had not yet had time to replenish his troops and fought back into the city again.

Shangfeng quickly handed over the task and moved forward along a path.  Several days of fierce fighting.  The buildings in the urban area have been basically destroyed. The current Wehrmacht's basic tactics for fighting are the same. When they find the Soviet firepower point, they first see if they can break it with a rocket launcher. If there is no other way, they call the air force.

Under normal circumstances, if you can¡¯t call the air force, you won¡¯t call it, because there are few particularly strong firepower points in street fighting.

After entering the city again, Sun Dali personally led a platoon.  Take advantage of the morning light and push forward.  The men under his command were spread out among the rubble.  Just after pushing out less than fifty meters, a whining sound sounded.

"Spread out. Get down!" There were two bangs, and two mortar shells fell in the advancing formation, which indicated that there were two Soviet mortars hidden nearby.  Judging from the movement, it has a caliber of 82mm.  One soldier was unlucky and had his leg blown off.  The conscripts bravely stepped forward.  Lying on top of the wounded amid the continuous explosions.

"The target was found on the top of a two-story building five hundred meters ahead." The observation team, responsible for detecting the enemy's situation, quickly reported the coordinates.  The four mortars were quickly set up and fired at the discovered target. Sun Dali asked the platoon leader and his men to continue to press forward. He was holding a submachine gun and leading a squad of soldiers to quickly  Go around the corner.  Just halfway through, he was knocked down by a DP machine gun hidden in a corner.  Sun Dali evaded in time, and a bullet flew past the top of his helmet.  Frightened into a cold sweat.

"Bazooka!" Sun Dali shouted while hiding behind a wall.

The bazooka shooter quickly got down and found a seat, and fired one shot at the machine gun.  After a bang, the window where the machine gun was hidden was hit.  The suppressed soldiers immediately got up, rushed forward quickly, threw a grenade in, and rushed in with a bang.

In the dilapidated house, a Soviet soldier leaned against the wall and gasped for air. His chest was soaked with blood. A DP machine gun fell beside him. When he saw someone rushing in, the soldier tried hard to reach for the machine gun, but  The last bit of strength seemed to have been exhausted. He stared at Sun Dali and the others, his head tilted, and he refused to close his eyes.

They continued to rush forward with the remaining soldiers, and the journey was smooth. When they reached the small building, they discovered that the two mortars on the roof had been killed by our own mortars, and four corpses were lying on the ground.  , and three big holes were blown out of the roof.  The pedestrian crew rushed up at this time and whispered: "Company commander, the first platoon reported that a big fish seemed to have been found. There was a very strong machine gun position. The first platoon leader led a charge and was beaten back. The loss was  Three people were killed, and it was visually observed that there were two Maxims forming a crossfire."

Sun Dali subconsciously looked ahead. It was already bright and the location was very close to the edge of the city, less than two hundred meters away.  There were constant sounds of gunfire from other corners of the city. It seemed that this battle was in its final stages.

Krolev knew that his last moment had come. On the morning of the fifth day after the city was broken, the Chinese launched a fierce attack again.  At this time, Krolev had less than one battalion of troops in his hands, and he was shrinking around the final headquarters in the south of the city to make the final resistance.  The Chinese came from all directions, carrying guns everywhere.  ?There was a constant roar, and once you heard it, you knew it was the rocket launcher equipped by the Chinese.

An hour later, the last two mortars were killed by the Chinese. With a pistol in his hand, Krolev walked to the door of the telecommunications room. After thinking for a while, he said to the two guards standing guard: "Handle it cleanly."  After finishing this, Krolev went out with his pistol. Everyone around him went out to fight. The chief of staff and political commissar all died in the fierce battle last night.

The two guards watched Krolev go out, looked at each other, and shook their heads at each other.  "Do you want us to end it ourselves?" A female officer poked her head out of the door and asked with a smile, as if she was not afraid of death at all.  The two guards struggled, looked at the guns in their hands, nodded and said: "That's best, to save us trouble. You know, you have the password."

The female officer closed the door, and soon there was gunshots inside. The two soldiers looked painful. When it was quiet inside, they opened the door. Unexpectedly, they were greeted by six short guns, and six female soldiers opened fire at the same time.  After the two guards were beaten to death, the female soldiers quickly moved things to block the door in order to survive.

Boom boom boom, four rocket launchers, under the cover of six general-purpose machine guns, each found their position and opened fire one after another.  After the two Maxims misfired, Sun Dali waved his hand, and a platoon leader and his men rushed across the road. There were several bang-bang-bang shots from rifles. When two soldiers fell, general-purpose machine guns poured over them like rain.  There were screams from the gunshots.

Krolev sat alone in front of a huge map and smoked, with his pistol on the table. The gunshots outside became more and more intense, and finally slowly stopped. There was a bang, and after the grenade exploded, choking smoke poured in.  Come on, Krolev picked up the pistol and sang: "This is the last moment, unite until tomorrow!" The pistol fired violently at the smoke, counting the numbers until the last bullet was left.  At this time, Krolev did not hesitate, pointed at his temple, and stared at the door.

After several gunshots, a Soviet soldier rolled in covered in blood. He looked at Krolev, opened his mouth with difficulty, and lowered his head without making any sound.

Sun Dali's platoon leader rushed to the front, holding a submachine gun and shouted: "Send the gun and don't kill!" When he saw clearly the movements of Krolev standing opposite, the two soldiers who followed him stood in a row.  At the signal, they lowered the muzzles of their guns. Warriors are always respected.  "Touch!" The trigger was pulled, and Krolev understood himself. Blood spattered out, and a few drops fell on the general on his shoulder.  Krolev's body fell sideways and hit the ground hard.

"Lieutenant General! What a big fish! Report it to the company commander and clean it up."

"Don't shoot! We surrender!" In very jerky Chinese, a female Soviet officer with a fiery figure, holding a white flag made of a white shirt, appeared in front of three soldiers whose faces were filled with smoke.

When Sun Dali came in, he heard laughter coming from inside, and a soldier said: "The hairy woman's vagina is so big, I want to touch it when I look at it, and I want to do it when I touch it."

"Hurry up and pull it over, your body is not long enough to carry a bag of cigarettes between your two long legs."

"Bah! My nickname is Wolf Seven Times a Night!"¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡.

"Get the hell out of here, don't even look at where this place is! Go and clean the battlefield." Sun Dali shouted like thunder, and a group of soldiers hunched their necks and all left, leaving the female officer standing there.  In place.  In fact, soldiers only flirt with each other, and no one dares to flirt with women at this time.  If there is chaos on the battlefield, it is normal to shoot them directly.

A platoon leader stepped forward and said: "Company commander, this woman is the confidential director, and she holds the Soviet army's password. Originally, the Soviet army was going to execute them, but they organized a self-rescue and killed two guards.  "

"I hope I can get fair treatment!" The female officer stepped forward to speak. Sun Dali tilted his mouth and spat out: "Let the others come out. I have no right to deal with you. I can only hand you over to your superiors.  deal with."

Samarkand, Zhukov¡¯s headquarters, a week passed very slowly. Although Zhukov received reinforcements from two more infantry corps, he was not very satisfied.  Because the reinforcement he wanted most was the mechanized army, there was no intention of mobilizing it in the country.  A total of two mechanized armies were wiped out on the Central Asian battlefield, and he still had one left in his hand. Without enough mechanized troops, Zhukov would not think about counterattack at all.

"Shymkent has been lost!" The chief of staff came over and handed over a telegram. This was the last telegram sent by Krolev.  "We have less than five hundred troops, and the enemy is attacking fiercely with superior strength. I will fight to the end."

Zhukov crumpled up a paper ball with an expressionless face, threw it aside, stared at the map and said: "Notify, prepare for defense, be careful of the Chinese mechanized troops going south." At this time, a staff officer rushed in.He said: "The defenses of Sildaria have been broken, and our army and the enemy are fighting in the streets." (To be continued)
