    Chapter 1,364 Egyptian Gods

¡ª¡ªHuman biotechnology has not yet blossomed, but advanced aliens are fully capable of completing experiments and achieving certain results. UFO researchers believe that there are many people like Akhenaten, and their long skull skeletons are scattered around the world.  everywhere

Let¡¯s first take a look at Amenhotep III. This man broke the popular tradition of incest marriage and married Tai, the daughter of a wealthy merchant without noble blood. This kind of courage was unprecedented at the time. Tai was a very political person.  A talented woman, she exerted an important influence on the domestic and foreign affairs of her husband Pharaoh Amenhotep III and son Pharaoh Akhenaten during their reign. Some historians even believe that Queen Tai was the actual ruler of Egypt."

According to archaeological records, this pharaoh loved hunting very much in his early years. He often took princes, ministers and some famous hunters to hunt. Records even wrote the story of Amenhotep III personally hunting 100 lions during his reign.

Amenhotep III is considered by archaeologists to be one of the most outstanding architectural designers in the history of ancient Egypt. He presided over the construction of many magnificent buildings throughout his life. For example, in the 11th year of his reign, the pharaoh ordered people to build a building in Lu  Excavation of a huge artificial lake north of Queso

"The reign of Amenhotep III was the era of Egyptian art revival, and many magnificent buildings were built, including the Temple of West Thebes, the Colossi of Memnon in Luxor, and Amenhotep's Prayer Hall"

Today, the remains of many buildings still stand on the banks of the Nile

The marriage of Amenhotep III has also been praised by historians. In order to consolidate the country and power, this pharaoh implemented an extensive marriage policy with surrounding countries and concluded a "political marriage" with the daughter of the king of Babylon.

However, the most interesting thing is the first wife of Amenhotep III. This queen did not come from a foreign political family or a wealthy family in her country, but was a businessman's daughter without noble blood.  , named Tai Yi, was summoned to the palace because of her beauty.

Amenhotep III and Tai gave birth to the son of Pharaoh Akhenaten, who later advocated reform, and was the most famous "cursed pharaoh" Tutankhamun in Egyptian history.

One part of Tutankhamun's curse inscription reads: "Whoever disturbs the sleep of Pharaoh, death will spread its wings and descend on his head" and another part reads: "Anyone who enters this tomb with an impure heart  I'm going to choke him like a bird."

There is another spell on the back of a statue in the main tomb: I am the protector of Tutankhamun¡¯s tomb, and it is I who use desert fire to drive away those tomb robbers.

The first victim was Carnarvon, who funded the excavation. The reason was that he was swarmed by mosquitoes when he entered the entrance of Tutankhamun's tomb. He had a lump on his left cheek and died of septicemia. Before his death, he  He kept shouting: "I heard his calling voice and I want to follow him."

After that, the nurse who cared for Carnarvon was invited to help. American archaeologist Macy accompanied Carter to visit the tomb. Professor Archibald Reed, who unwrapped Tutankhamun's shroud, personally came into contact with Tutankhamun.  The widow of Dr. Douglas Reed, Carmon's gold mask, and Carnarvon all died unexpectedly and mysteriously one after another.

When the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun was discovered in 1922, it was the smallest but best-preserved of the Egyptian imperial tombs. At that time, more than 3,500 cultural relics were discovered in the tomb.

There are seven layers in the coffin. There are four layers of wooden coffins on the outside and three layers on the inside. They are a sarcophagus, a hardwood human-shaped coffin and a gold human-shaped coffin.

The innermost layer is a gold face portrait coffin, which is made of 3 cm thick gold plates on the front and rear. The surface of the gold face portrait coffin is luxuriously decorated with exquisite craftsmanship and is also decorated with sapphire bowls.

Inside the coffin is the mummy of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, with a gold mask on his face

A while ago, a series of incredible things happened when Zuxi Hawass, the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities, performed a CT examination on the mummy in Tutankhamun¡¯s tomb.

According to Egypt's "News" report, there was a strong wind in the Valley of the Kings, and the advanced instruments just purchased from the United States malfunctioned for an hour and a half for no reason. The report said that Hawass did not believe in the "curse of the Pharaoh" and he also comforted the staff by saying:  "Don't be afraid, it won't be the Pharaoh's curse."

No matter how you look at it, it feels like you are deceiving yourself.

Tutankhamun succeeded Akhenaten to the pharaoh throne, but the identity of Tutankhamun¡¯s mother is still unclear, so it is impossible to determine whether Akhenaten and Tutankhamun are father and son, or half-mother.

Historians have noticed that for thousands of years, ancient Greek fables, myths and epics have repeatedly mentioned that there once was an extremely powerful and civilized city group on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea, the "City of Pharaoh" in Egypt.  "

According to the description in the ancient Greek epic, the highly developed civilization of "Pharaoh City" will surpass other places in the world at the same time.Ming Dynasty is far behind, and its degree of urban modernization can even reach the level of urban construction in the 20th century!

The most interesting thing is that no one has ever mentioned when this urban agglomeration arose, where the people living here came from, and why they suddenly had a highly developed civilization.

In the first Western historical work "History" written by the Greek "Father of History" Herodotus, he described in detail what he saw and heard during his visit to Egypt, and spent a lot of space describing the "City of Pharaoh"  The port city of Heraklion and the spectacular "Hercules" temple built in the city

The name "Pharaoh's City" is still passed down from generation to generation by Greek astrologers: King Meneus of Sparta attacked the city of Troy and captured the beauty Helen, and he stopped in Heraklion on his way back to his country.

King Meneus' Popeye "Canopus" was bitten by a poisonous snake and eventually turned into Venus. Therefore, there were two cities in the "Pharaoh City" urban agglomeration named after "Canopus" and his wife respectively.  named after norris

Ancient Greek geographers and historians also described the specific location of the "Pharaoh's City" and the wealthy lifestyle of the city residents in their works.

The famous statesman, philosopher and playwright of ancient Rome criticized the luxurious and decadent lifestyle of the residents of the "City of Pharaoh", cursing them that sooner or later they would suffer "retribution from God"

Among the Greek epics, Greek poets particularly admired Heraklion in the "Pharaoh's City"

According to the description in the epic, Heraklion was the most important and prosperous port city in the Middle Kingdom at that time. Heraklion was very rich and artistic, and because of its construction, there were countless temples dedicated to Isis, the goddess of fertility in the world.  It has become a place of pilgrimage for many religions in the world.

People here worship the "stars" in the sky. They often say that their ancestors came from the "mysterious sky" and their ancestors also left them a mysterious "civilization", so they can live a very prosperous and comfortable life.

They enjoy themselves in time, celebrate the festival, watch bullfights and various performances, participate in cultural, sports and entertainment activities, and enjoy everything that youth and life have given them

Their women wore ruffled gowns and puffy-sleeved blouses or corsets, their curly hair brushing their foreheads as they watched the show, sitting in the front row, their gloves sometimes on their hands,  Sometimes I put it on a folding chair while chatting and pointing at something, which is a scene of modern metropolitan life!

It was such a civilized nation that lived in comfort and peace that mysteriously disappeared 2,500 years ago, leaving only dilapidated ruins.

"Pharaoh City" All the cities were suddenly destroyed at the same time. Not long after, this ancient civilization center disappeared from history forever.

Based on the cultural relics excavated so far, the "Pharaoh City" urban complex should have been built in the Pharaonic era of the 7th or 6th century BC. It was once extremely prosperous because of its special status as a Mediterranean port.

By 331 BC, after Alexander the Great built Alexandria, Heraklion, the most prosperous "Pharaoh's City", began to gradually decline, and may eventually be destroyed by a large-scale natural disaster overnight

According to speculation and judgment, Heraklion and other cities in the "Pharaoh City" were most likely destroyed by a major earthquake, because judging from the well-preserved building debris on the seabed, most of the houses and walls fell in one direction

After the major earthquake, the "Pharaoh City" quickly sank to the bottom of the sea. This is the fundamental reason why archaeologists today discovered the "Pharaoh City" under 20 to 30 meters of water in Abu Qir Bay, 4 nautical miles away from the land.

Archaeologists speculate that this large-scale earthquake should have occurred in the seventh or eighth century, because the silver coins or jewelry discovered by divers in the "Pharaoh City" are all from the Byzantine era, and nothing later than this.

More importantly, the site of "Pharaoh City" is indeed an area that is extremely prone to earthquakes. Looking at historical records, this area has the most and most frequent earthquakes in the entire Mediterranean region.

Based on this, archaeologists imagined the scene on the day when the "Pharaoh's City" suffered a natural disaster

"One day 2,500 years ago, the earth roared and shook. An earth-shaking tremor tore apart the "Pharaoh City" alive. An unfathomable abyss appeared in the center of the "Pharaoh City" urban agglomeration.  The citizens of "Pharaoh's City" who had lived a comfortable and comfortable life were finally afraid."

"However, just when they were stunned, seawater tens of meters high suddenly spewed out from the crack, swallowing up the street houses and people in the blink of an eye. The seawater surged more and more, and the land sank more and more."

"Not long after, the once prosperous "Pharaoh City" turned into a vast ocean, and countless lives were buried in the vast sea. Almost no one escaped this disaster. Perhaps it was just in time??Ancient Roman philosopher said ¡°retribution¡±

However, some archaeologists object to this statement, especially after seeing the remains of the city. They believe that the city group suddenly sank into the sea in a very short period of time, while the residents of the "Pharaoh City"  Evacuated or disappeared in an orderly manner before a disaster occurred

However, where have the residents of these "Pharaoh's City" gone?  Why didn't they leave any explanation for their descendants?

All this is just like what American archaeologists said when describing the mystery of the sudden disappearance of the Mayan civilization: "Like a broken sailboat floating in the sea, its mast is broken, its name disappears, and the sailors also  They are all dead. No one can tell where it came from, who it belonged to, how long it sailed, and no one knows what caused its destruction. Perhaps we can only vaguely imagine the people who disappeared from the structure of the ship. Perhaps even this is not possible.  It can never be done¡±

Since then, this urban agglomeration has been sleeping in the back more than 30 meters deep for more than 2,500 years, until it was rediscovered now

Regarding the future of this underwater city group, the Egyptian archaeological department has a very clear attitude. The vast majority of cultural relics and urban buildings are on the seabed, and only a few cultural relics have been salvaged and sent to museums for display.

This is protective archeology. Compared with a certain country's reckless excavation of terracotta warriors and horses, which later caused serious damage beyond repair, they are obviously more professional.

Jabala, secretary-general of Egypt¡¯s Supreme Council of Archeology, said: ¡°With our current technology, we have the ability to salvage them but cannot effectively protect them, so we are willing to keep these most precious cultural relics close to the seabed.  Leave a considerable wealth to our children and grandchildren¡±

In a stone wall picture engraved with the Pharaoh family, Pharaoh Akhenaten is at the front of the procession, followed by his wife Queen Didi, and the last person to present flowers to the sun god Aton is Pharaoh Akhenaten¡¯s daughter.

In the picture, the sun god Aten is in the shape of a disc with lines symbolizing light around it, with hands reaching directly to the pharaoh and his family. This symbolizes that the power of the sun protects the pharaoh. This type of sun god is different from that seen in other ancient Egyptian dynasties.  , created during the period of Pharaoh Akhenaten

He firmly believed that there is only one god in the world, that is, the sun god Aton. The meaning of the name Akhenaten means that he was the person selected by the god Aten. The pharaoh Akhenaten lived in the north of Thebes.  The city of Amana built another new capital and built a temple without a ceiling in order to directly receive the rays of the sun when worshiping the god Aten, just like what is expressed in this picture.

Like all pharaohs of ancient Egypt, Amenhotep IV Akhenaten had multiple names. In fact, the pharaohs of the New Kingdom used 5 names.

What is even more special about Amenhotep IV is that he also changed his name once for political purposes

The real name of Amenhotep IV, which is the name of the ancient Egyptian nobleman when he was born, is the name of Ra. The name given after the son of the sun god Ra is exactly Amenhotep, which means "Amun's".  servant"

Amun is the name of the main god of Thebes and later the whole of Egypt. In Greek literature, his name is written as "Amenophis" which is more in line with the naming habits of the Greeks.

For a long time, Western archeology has used the name Amenophis

After Amenhotep IV carried out the religious reform, in order to express his break with the Amun faith and support for the Aton faith, he changed his name to La. The new name clearly showed the meaning of Aton worship: "E  Henaton" literally means "Servant of Aten" or "Glorious Soul of Aten"

Among Christians, many people often say "Amen", and the pronunciation is very close. This also indicates the emergence of the ancient gods and their convergence to a certain extent.

Of course, you can regard religion as feudal superstition and stubbornly believe that things you have never seen or heard of do not exist. You can also put aside your prejudices, observe and think calmly, and then come to the answer from a neutral perspective.

    ????????????????????????????????????????????????¡

Amenhotep IV introduced the worship of the sun god Aton in the first year of his reign, thus announcing the beginning of a very significant religious reform in Egyptian history. Aton was originally an ancient but not very important  of Egyptian gods, now elevated to the most prominent position by the Pharaoh

The early stage of Aten worship was a "monotheistic" religion that regarded Aten as the highest god but did not deny the divinity of other gods. It did not conflict with traditional Egyptian religion.

But in the later stages, Aten clearly showed the color of primitive monotheism.

The literal meaning of Aton is the sun's light wheel itself. In the ancient Egyptian mythology system, the most important sun god is Ra, who was the main god in the Old Kingdom.

Ra later merged with Horus, who symbolized the royal power of the Pharaoh family, and Amun, the local god of Thebes whose status rose sharply with the rise of Thebes as the capital of Egypt.

This merger was rather abrupt, but it was accepted by the ancient Egyptians. Amenhotep IV simplified the system, and by claiming that the visible image of the sun itself was the only god, he created the world's first known  monotheism

Some researchers understand Aten belief as a kind of naturalism with simple scientific ideas. The basis of its theory is the recognition of the fact that the energy of the sun is the ultimate energy source for all life on earth.

Why Amenhotep IV carried out such a drastic religious reform is a topic that researchers have been exploring. What is more credible is that the pharaoh attacked the priests of Amun in Thebes by belittling the status of the god Amun.

In this way, his religious reform was actually a political struggle. The pharaoh wanted to centralize power to curb the tendency of the increasingly powerful priestly group to compete with the royal family since the establishment of the New Kingdom.

Amenhotep IV began to build a new capital in the fifth year of his reign. Akhenaten means Aten's sight. In the same year, he officially changed his name to Akhenaten, as his  Evidence of a new cult

Soon thereafter he concentrated nearly all religious activities in Egypt in Akhetaton, although the city itself appears to have been unfinished

Akhenaten built many grand temples for Aten across Egypt, including a temple at Karnak, where Amon was originally worshiped. Akhenaten is also widely believed to be the author of the famous Ode to Aten.  Author (to be continued)
