Sunlight shone through the curtains in front of the bed. The light and shadow moved slowly, and finally shone on Qin Lianfang's pale face. Her eyes moved and she slowly opened them.

The ward is quiet and dim. Dahong, the maid of the Qin family, is slumped in the chair in front of her, still asleep and snoring slightly.

Is it a dream?  Qin Lianfang's mind was not very clear yet, and she was a little unsure whether her memory was accurate.  She seemed to see Meng Youtian and reached out to grab his clothes. Then the car was pushed away and Meng Youtian disappeared.

No matter whether it is certain or not, there is still a glimmer of hope in Qin Lianfang's heart.  With hope, her desire to die became less intense. She felt thirsty, so she moved her hands, opened her mouth, and made a weak sound.

Maid Dahong has been serving Qin Lianfang for a long time, and she was implicated a lot because of her escape. Even if she fell asleep, she would not fall asleep and would wake up at the slightest movement.

"Miss, you, you're awake." Dahong hurriedly sat up from the chair, took a closer look, and rubbed her sleepy eyes.

"Well, I, I'm thirsty." Qin Lianfang finally made a sound, her voice was hoarse.

"Okay, Miss, please wait a moment." Dahong poured water from the thermos bottle quickly and tried it with his mouth before feeding it to Qin Lianfang one mouthful at a time.

The warm water flowed down her throat and into her stomach, and Qin Lianfang felt much better.  She was very grateful to this maid who had been taking care of her since she was rescued.  But I also felt that she had no consciousness, and that her painstaking ideological work could not make this maid hate the feudal family that exploited and oppressed her and help her escape.

"I, when I entered the hospital, did I meet someone I knew?" Qin Lianfang rested for a while and finally asked tentatively.

Dahong blinked, remembered, nodded and said, "Yes. There was a gentleman who brought his wife over to see the young lady. It seems, her surname is Meng."

Qin Lianfang felt ecstatic in her heart. It turned out that it was not a dream, but it was real.  It would be nice to have Brother Meng here. He has a way of doing anything and will definitely save him.

"Did Mr. Meng say anything?" Qin Lianfang continued to ask.  Hopes were greatly increased, and her spirits seemed to be much better, and her cat eyes were shining with rare light.

"Mr. Meng talked to the master and the eldest young master for a long time, but I didn't hear what was said." Dahong said truthfully: "I just heard the eldest young master and the master talking later. Mr. Meng seemed to be a wealthy businessman in Hong Kong. Yes.  The garden house has several factories, and it looks very impressive.¡±

A wealthy businessman?  And a garden house?  Dahong must have misunderstood.  Qin Lianfang was only slightly surprised before making her own judgment.  She asked no more questions and settled into meditation.  Now that Brother Meng knows that he is here, he will definitely contact him again and ask what happened at that time.  Why did he come to Hong Kong.  He didn't even say hello when he left.

When she thought of this, Qin Lianfang immediately felt dissatisfaction and complaint in her heart. She originally thought that she had a very good relationship with Meng Youtian, but this guy moved his whole family behind his back, without even a letter or even a few words.  He obviously regards himself as an outsider, which is really heartbreaking.

When you meet him, you must ask him how many years have passed.  Aren't the two of them friends?  Qin Lianfang felt upset and complained for a while, wishing to see Meng Youtian immediately.

"Miss, are you hungry? There are people from our family outside. Just say something and someone will take care of it." Dahong saw Qin Lianfang's face was gloomy and uncertain, and was worried about what she was thinking, so he was busy reminding her.  asked half-concernedly.

Qin Lianfang snorted, knowing that her family would definitely not relax their supervision of her, and she couldn't help but feel angry and annoyed.

There were voices coming from the corridor outside, but they were vague and could not be heard clearly.  a while.  The door was gently pushed open. Qin Lianfang's eldest brother took a look and saw that the girl was awake. There was a hint of joy on his face, and he turned around to greet the other person.

Mrs. Meng?  Qin Lianfang closed her eyes in hatred when she saw the elder brother who had broken her leg, but when she heard such a call, she quickly opened her eyes wide.

When Axiu entered the ward, she felt dim. She couldn't adapt to it and narrowed her eyes slightly.  Qin Lianfang carefully identified it and was stunned for a moment, forgetting to speak.  She is dressed in a fashionable outfit and her hair is still bent. Is this the Axiu I know?

"Xiao Qin, is it really you? Why, how did it become like this?" Axiu's eyes adjusted to the light, staring at Qin Lianfang to identify it carefully, looking unbelievable.

The rosiness on Qin Lianfang's face has faded away, and she looks weak and haggard, losing her past luster. She can't see her former youth and beauty at all. Only her special cat eyes still give people a vague impression.

Hearing this familiar name, he stared blankly at Axiu, whose image had changed drastically, for several times. At one hour, Qin Lianfang felt sad in her heart, and two large pools of tears welled up in her eyes.

Axiu was originally a soft-hearted woman. Seeing Qin Lianfang's miserable state, she couldn't help but feel heartache and pity. She hurriedly walked over, caressed her and comforted her softly.  Qin Lianfang was full of bitterness and took advantage of the situation to cry on Axiu's shoulder.

After a long time, the two women finally stabilized temporarily.  Axiu hurriedly took the things she brought over and said: "I heard from Arita and Afeng that you were admitted to the hospital. We are all very worried! This is the millet porridge I made early, with longan, lotus seeds and jujube added to it.  , these are the little pickles made by my mother. They said you were hungry or did it on purpose. This is not okay. If anything happens, don¡¯t go against your body!"

"Yeah, don't worry about anything. In fact, everyone in the family is doing it for your own good. Why do you risk your body to get angry with everyone!" Qin Zhengcai followed Axiu's words and persuaded his sister.

Qin Lianfang glared at her brother hatefully. Qin Zhengcai smiled bitterly and said to Axiu: "Mrs. Meng, please advise my sister-in-law. She is just stubborn. She has made people worry about her since she was a child. Well, I  Go out first, and you guys can chat slowly." After saying that, he turned around and walked out with a sigh.

"Miss, you can eat some. This is Mrs. Meng's wish. I'll feed you." Dahong was a smart person. He took the lunch box and picked up the spoon.

Under Axiu¡¯s smiling gaze, Qin Lianfang reluctantly opened her mouth to drink the porridge. In fact, she was also a little hungry and had hope in her heart, so she was not particularly resistant.

"Hurry up and take good care of yourself, and then go play at home." Axiu said with a smile: "We haven't seen each other for several years. You don't know how much our home has changed!"

"Well, Qin Lianfang swallowed a mouthful of porridge, looked at Axiu and said, "You have changed a lot. Can you tell me about your past few years?"

"Here, Xiao Manfei did this for me." Axiu touched her clothes with some embarrassment and said, "That's fine, it's nothing, I'll chat with you more" (To be completed  Continued.)
