Text Chapter 101 Experimental Center

The sound of the fax machine brought Zhiqiu back to reality from the murder case on the beach chain.

The transferred documents are placed on that tray.  Zhiqiu couldn't help but sigh, scooped up the paper and looked at it.

    Suddenly, he felt sick.

There was a photo of a dead body printed on the paper.  The body's clothes were stripped off, its head was turned away, and its face was turned toward the back.  There was a terrible burn mark on the dead man's chest.  This man was branded with just one word.  This word Zhiqiu is all too familiar.  Very familiar.

He stared at this very elegant hot calligraphy with wide eyes and full of suspicion.

"The cheating party," he read stammeringly, his heart pounding.

    This can¡¯t be

Zhiqiu was really a little scared of what he was about to see, so he carefully rotated the fax 180 degrees.  He looked at the upside-down word.

Xia Xiang was stunned for a moment, as if he had been hit hard.  He couldn't believe his eyes, so he turned the fax around again, looked at it upright, and looked at it upside down again.

    "Fuck you," he whispered.

Zhiqiu was stunned and slumped down in the chair.  He felt like he was in a fog and sat there blankly for a long time.  The blinking red light on the fax machine finally caught his attention. Obviously, the person who sent the fax wanted to talk to him.  Zhiqiu stared at the flashing indicator light for a long time.

Finally, he tremblingly picked up the microphone.

"Can you concentrate on listening to me now?" The man finally heard Zhiqiu scooping up the phone and said.

"Yes, of course. Can you introduce yourself first?"

"I just wanted to tell you." The man's voice was stiff and old-fashioned.  "I'm a physicist and I'm in charge of a research department. There was a murder here. You saw the body."

"How did you find me?" Zhiqiu was still worried about this question, but all he could think about was the fax picture.

"I haven't told you before!" Zhiqiu tried to think clearly.

¡°There is no contact information on the webpage at all.¡± Zhiqiu denied.  "I know this very well." "There are people in my experimental center who are very good at obtaining all kinds of user information from the Internet." Zhiqiu was still confused.  "It seems that the people in your experimental center know a lot about online banking!" "Of course." The other party retorted.

From the tone of the other party, Zhiqiu could tell that he was not lying.

"I have to see you." The man said persistently.  "This is not something we can discuss on the phone. My experimental center is only an hour's flight from you."

Zhiqiu stood in the dimly lit room, carefully considering the fax in his hand.  This graphic is so stunning.

    "It's urgent." The man urged.

Zhiqiu stared at the brand.  Cheating party.  He read it over and over again.

"I have already sent you a plane without permission." The man said.  "The plane will arrive at the airport in twenty minutes."

Zhiqiu was speechless for a moment.  It only takes an hour by plane. "Please forgive me for making my own decision." The man said again.  "I need you here."

Zhiqiu looked at the fax again and saw an ancient myth confirmed in black and white. The secrets in it were really shocking.  He looked absently out of the window.  The first ray of morning light has already shone on the ground, but the scenery looks a little different today.  He was both scared and excited. This strange mentality enveloped him. He knew that he had no choice.

"You win." Zhiqiu said.  "Tell me where to catch the plane."

Thousands of kilometers away, two men were meeting.  The room was dark, typical of stone buildings.

"Small hole." said the leading man.  He was sitting in the shadows, and you couldn't tell what he looked like.  "Did you succeed?"

"Of course." The other one replied in the darkness.  "Nice job." The man's words were as cold and hard as the surrounding stone walls.

"There aren't any clues left, right?" "It's very clean."

"Not bad. Do you have what I want?"

The killer¡¯s dark and shiny eyes flashed.  He scooped out a heavy electronic instrument and placed it on the table.

The person sitting in the vagina seems to be very satisfied.  "You did a great job."

¡°It¡¯s my honor to serve for the Cheating Club.¡± The killer replied.

"The second step of action is about to begin. Take a short rest, we will take this world tonight."?Turn it upside down.  "

Zhiqiu got into a taxi, which sped out of the tunnel and appeared on the east side of the port not far from the entrance to the airport.  He checked the direction, found Airport Road, and asked the driver to turn left and pass the old aviation building.  Three hundred meters away along the entrance road, an aircraft hangar was vaguely visible in the darkness, with a large "." printed on it.

Zhiqiu asked the driver to drive the car slowly into the parking lot and got out of the car.

A round-faced man wearing a blue flight suit flashed out from behind the building.  "Do you know Qiu?" he shouted.  The man's tone was very friendly, and Zhiqiu couldn't tell what his accent was.

"It's me." Zhiqiu said and locked the car.

"It's better to come early than to come by chance." The visitor said.  "I just landed. Please follow me."

They turned around the building, and Zhiqiu felt a little nervous.  He was really not used to this kind of mysterious phone calls and this kind of mysterious dates with strangers.  Since she had no idea what she was going for, Zhiqiu still put on her usual clothes: coarse woolen trousers, a round-lapel sweater, and a small coat.

Suits.  As the two of them walked, Zhiqiu was still thinking about the fax in his jacket pocket, and still found the images on the fax unbelievable.

The pilot seemed to be aware of Zhiqiu's anxious mood.  "Flying isn't a problem for you, is it?" he said in conversation.

"It doesn't matter." Zhiqiu replied.  Dead bodies with permed characters are the problem for me.

It¡¯s easy to deal with when flying.

The pilot led Zhiqiu through the hangar, turned the corner, and they walked onto the runway.

Zhiqiu suddenly stopped on the runway, looking at the plane parked on the tarmac tarmac, he was stunned with shock.

    "We'll take this one?"

The man smiled and said, "Do you like it?"

Zhiqiu looked at it for a long time: "Do you like it? What is this?"

The plane in front of you is a huge thing. If the top of it hadn't been flattened and turned into a perfect horizontal plane, you might have thought of it as a space shuttle.  The plane was parked on the runway, like a huge wedge.  Zhiqiu thought to himself that he must be dreaming.  This thing looked like a Buick sedan, with no wings at all, just two stubby wax sticks on the tail of the fuselage.

A pair of guide devices extend from the stern.  The rest of the aircraft is a shell. It is about sixty meters long from beginning to end with no windows. There is nothing except the shell.

"This guy weighs 250,000 kilograms when full of fuel." The pilot introduced, like a father showing off his newborn child.  "It is powered by a mixture of liquid hydrogen. The outer shell is made of iron and gold made of carbon fiber. The thrust-to-weight ratio of this aircraft is twenty to one, while the thrust-to-weight ratio of most jets is only seven to one. The director must be very anxious.  If Di wants to see you, he won¡¯t send this big guy out easily.¡±

"This guy can fly?" Zhiqiu asked.

The pilot smiled and said, "Oh, of course." He led Zhiqiu across the tarmac tarmac and walked straight towards the plane.  "I know this thing looks scary, but you'd better get used to it. Five years from now, all you'll see are these little guys, new aircraft, civilian high-speed aircraft. Our experimental center will be the first to have one.  One of the users of aircraft.

It must be a great experimental center, Zhiqiu thought.

¡°This one is a prototype.¡± The pilot continued.  "But there are dozens of other aircraft, the Russians have jet interceptors, the British have horizontal takeoff and landing aircraft. The future is here, it just takes time before it becomes ubiquitous and you can kiss goodbye to traditional jets  It¡¯s over.¡± (To be continued.
