Huang Junming didn't shirk too much. Seeing that Li Shimin drank a glass of wine, he also drank the wine in one gulp. Although Li Shimin said to let Huang Junming do as he pleased, in the end it was just a polite word. If Huang Junming only tasted it, then  It's too disrespectful to Li Shimin.

When Li Shimin saw Huang Junming drinking happily, a smile appeared on his lips, and he said seemingly casually: "Master Immortal, do you remember the Taoist title you obtained for me when I ascended the throne last year?"

Huang Junming was stunned when he asked this. Although it was only half a year, Huang Junming's state of mind when Li Shimin ascended the throne last year was completely different from now. I remember that at that time, Huang Junming only gave Li Shimin the title to please him.  To be honest, Huang Junming used such a Taoist name at that time. It didn't have much connotation, so he casually misappropriated "Zhenguan", Li Shimin's reign name, as Li Shimin's Taoist name.  Now that I think about it, it's really a bit ridiculous.  But now, it is no longer the time to worry about his identity being exposed. What he thinks about every day is how to make Taoism develop better. This was asked by Li Shimin suddenly, and he almost didn't think of it.  Fortunately, Li Shimin's ascension to the throne can be regarded as one of the major events that Huang Junming encountered after traveling to the Tang Dynasty. After thinking about it for a moment, he remembered what happened at that time.

"Of course Pindao remembers it. I didn't expect that His Majesty would use the Taoist title given to you by Pindao as the year of his reign. Pindao can be said to be flattered." Huang Junming laughed at Li Shimin. After all, Huang Junming was still a little agitated at the time.  Too lazy to talk about this topic.  Naturally, I was hiding something from the bottom of my heart and tried to divert this topic away.

"I didn't know at the time that the Immortal Master had such great expectations for me. To be honest, my entry into Taoism was just a formality. As an emperor, how could I have so much time to practice Taoism. But I invite my veterans.  When we decided on the year, I realized that the name given to me by the Immortal Master was so good. But I have once again failed to live up to the Immortal Master's expectations." Li Shimin looked very ashamed and replied to Huang Junming, although  Huang Junming said this when he chose the Taoist title for Li Shimin.  To be an emperor is to practice. Li Shimin practiced the way of an emperor, but in Li Shimin's thoughts about Taoist priests.  This reason is just a formality. Without a Taoist title, wouldn't an emperor be able to govern the country well?

"Oh? Your Majesty, do you think it would be good for Pindao to obtain a Taoist title for you?" Of course Huang Junming knew the word "Zhenguan", otherwise Li Shimin would not have used "Zhenguan" as the title of his reign. But the good thing is that although Huang Junming has recently  Studying the classics, but when Li Shimin came to the throne, he still didn't have such a deep knowledge. In other words, even if he had some impressions at the time, he couldn't say anything specific. But now he has studied the classics for so long.  I still have some opinions on these two words, but Huang Junming still wants to hear what Li Shimin, the person involved, thinks of these two words, and what kind of answer he can give to these two words that have accompanied him throughout his life.

"Haha, Master Immortal, are you taking the exam for me?" Li Shimin looked a little proud, and then said: "The word Zhenguan comes from the "Book of Changes. Series of Ci": "The Eight Diagrams are in a row."  The elephant is in it.  Therefore, the most important thing is that Yao is in it.  Hardness and softness push each other, and change occurs in it.  It is ordered based on the words, and the movement is in it.  Those who regret being stingy in good or bad times are those who live in motion.  Those who are strong and soft are those who establish themselves.  Adapter.  Interesting times.  The one who has good luck and bad luck is also the winner.  The way of heaven and earth belongs to those who are pure and virtuous.  "Zhen means upright and constant. Guan means showing. In other words, showing people the right way. Master Immortal, am I right?"

Huang Junming knew that the word "Zhenguan" comes from the "Book of Changes". After all, this is the most basic thing. However, Li Shimin just said this, but he didn't seem to know much more than Huang Junming.  But Huang Junming couldn't believe it.  After all, you must know that although the "Book of Changes" is ranked among the Five Classics of Confucianism, it is also the first-class classic among Taoism, second only to the "Tao Te Ching".  Huang Junming didn't think that this sentence alone was all Li Shimin's understanding. At least according to Confucian custom, someone would always add a new interpretation to a certain word.  Unlike himself, Li Shimin was exposed to Taoist classics.  So Huang Junming didn't believe it, but Li Shimin understood this closely.  So he opened his mouth and asked: "Your Majesty is right, but when I saw that Your Majesty was hesitant to speak, it seems that Your Majesty has other understandings? Isn't this the only meaning?"

"Sure enough, the Immortal Master got this title for me, and it has more than just a meaning. When Mr. Kong Yingda, the Jiu Jiu of the Imperial Academy, chose the title for me, he said that the title chosen by the Immortal Master for me was good. At that time, Kong Jiujiu said  "The Tao that covers the heavens and the earth is one of purity and righteousness, so its power can be observed by things.  " Lu Ji of the Jin Dynasty even said in the 25th chapter of "Yan Lian Zhu": "I heard that hiding the form is not a secret; relying on wisdom to hide the feelings is not enough to hide oneself.  Therefore, you can look for the emptiness and catch the scenery by focusing on the light and the algae; you, the adults, have a pure view and explore your heart.  " This also confirms this point. Lu Yun of Jin Dynasty also said in "Sui Mu Fu": "So when Zhuanxu was in charge, Xuan Ming was in charge of the officials, the temple of heaven was established, and the sun and moon were in full view.  "Praised so highly by today's Confucian masters Kong Jijiu and sages, this ZhenguanThese two words can be called the best. Of course, these are the meanings of the sages who chose the word Zhenguan to show people the right way.  "

Huang Junming nodded and expressed his understanding. What Li Shimin said was not much different from the explanation in the Book of Changes. However, in terms of citing scriptures, he was much better than himself. When Li Shimin mentioned his nickname, he added  Some people were overjoyed when they received the year name. Doesn't it prove that Li Shimin is satisfied with these two words?  Of course, having said that, if an emperor doesn't even know the meaning of his reign name, that would be too stupid.

When Li Shimin saw Huang Junming nodding, the joy on his face became even more intense, and he continued: "There is a saying in Ban Gu's "Youtong Fu": "It turns out to be pure in the morning and disappears in the evening, just like making noises about yourself and leaving your body behind."  "Some people say that one can hear the Tao in the morning and evening in four ways. The word "Zhenguan" means "righteous principles."  After taking a sip of wine, he continued.

"And "Book of the Later Han Dynasty. Biography of Dang Guo. Li Ying" even said, "I think that the emperor should be on the 25th day of Zhenguan to benefit the adults. It is not the first day of the Yi Dynasty, it is bright but not melted, the rainbow is shining, abandoning harmony and adopting unity.  "Among them, Zhenguan is the one that clarifies the world and magnifies the righteous way." Li Shimin was obviously very satisfied with this explanation of the word "Zhenguan", and he was even more excited and beaming when talking about this explanation.  Not to mention anything else, the combination of the word Zhenguan and the emperor in this book of the Later Han Dynasty is quite appropriate when compared with the emperor Li Shimin.  It was like it hit Li Shimin's heart all of a sudden.  Let Li Shimin be immersed in it and unable to extricate himself.

After explaining, Li Shimin gestured to Huang Junming to eat and drink again, and then continued: "Master Immortal, how are you? I didn't miss what I said, right?" Li Shimin was obviously very proud, but after he was so proud, his expression suddenly changed.  He became serious, stood up and saluted Huang Junming and said: "Master Immortal, you want me to take it as my duty to clarify the world and promote the right path. Such great expectations put a lot of pressure on me. But because of this, I want to thank you even more.  Immortal Master, I dare to swear to the way of heaven. During my time in government, I will show the righteous way to others, be upright, take it as my duty to clarify the world, and promote the righteous way. I will make my name and year worthy of the name!"

Li Shimin's actions were very conspicuous in this banquet. After all, all the people present were his ministers, and as ministers, they were always paying attention to Li Shimin's every move. When he saw Li Shimin saluting Huang Junming and saying something,  They all looked over curiously.

Huang Junming now seems to understand why Li Shimin used the word Zhenguan as his reign name in history. No matter which explanation is used, the word Zhenguan embodies the word "zheng" everywhere, and this "zheng" is Li Shimin's life.  As an emperor's pursuit, it was precisely because of Li Shimin's pursuit that he used the word "Zhenguan" to constantly alert and encourage himself, creating a glorious page in history.

Of course, Huang Junming could not help but see from the word Zhenguan that Li Shimin had a guilty conscience about his throne, but what does it matter?  As long as Li Shimin can live up to the name "Zhenguan", that's all. Although history is complicated, it is very simple.  No matter what the original meaning of the word Zhenguan is, Huang Junming just knows that thousands of years later, Zhenguan will represent the Tang Dynasty, Li Shimin, and the beginning of a prosperous age.

Huang Junming saw that Li Shimin's actions had attracted the attention of the ministers to his side, and said to Li Shimin: "Your Majesty is determined. The emperor is in the court, and the sun and the moon are in full view. Pindao didn't do anything when he chose the Taoist title for your majesty.  After considering so many things, at most it is just an excerpt from the Book of Changes. However, since His Majesty has realized it himself, I hope that Your Majesty can put into practice what he has realized. Pindao is very much looking forward to witnessing a dynasty develop and prosper from His Majesty's hands.  , and I also look forward to the fact that one day the word Zhenguan will represent a majestic and magnificent era in the history books and become the beginning of the prosperous age of the Tang Dynasty. In addition, Your Majesty, I am just an outsider and will not take up too much of Your Majesty's time. I also hope that Your Majesty  Pay more attention to the ministers in the court, after all, they are your indispensable right-hand men in power."
