    Yuxigong Jiajing Jingshe.

When a eunuch came to report that Hai Rui had been taken into custody, Jiajing threw away the manuscript in his hand and said, "Send him to come in."

Wu Jie was anxious. When was this happening? The emperor still wanted to summon Hai Rui.

However, what Jiajing said next made Wu Jie break into a cold sweat: "Ask Prince Yu to come in with you, I want to see him."

Jiajing's eyes fell on Wu Jie and suddenly sighed: "Wu Aiqing, I already know that you asked King Fu to enter the palace. Is he waiting outside now Well, it's been almost ten years, and I haven't seen him before.  I don¡¯t know what my son looks like now. I want to see him myself, so I don¡¯t blame you.¡±

"Yes." Wu Jie felt a little more at ease in his heart, and he was also surprised. Jiajing was a man who was about to die, but the things inside and outside the palace could not be hidden from him.

Soon, King Yu walked in quickly.

There was still a trace of tears on his face. After seeing his father, whom he had not seen for many years, his voice became hoarse, but he could no longer speak.  He just knelt on the ground, kowtowed, and shed tears.

The emperor frowned: "Why are you crying? You are already so old and still so weak. How can you rule the world and rule all the people in the future?"

"Yes, Father." Prince Yu's tears still fell uncontrollably.

At this moment, there was a rush of footsteps outside the palace, and the people in the palace looked back.  As soon as he raised his head and sealed it tightly, he saw Chengyu running over quickly and stopping at the door.

Inside, Hai Rui was sitting in shackles and handcuffs.

Hai Rui was still a thin and small man. He stood up from the carriage with difficulty and walked slowly into the hall.

King Yu suddenly stood up from the ground, walked to Hai Rui, and looked at him with angry eyes: "Are you Hai Rui?"

Although I have never seen Yu Wanghe, I can see his age and the apricot yellow crown robe he wears.  Hai Rui immediately guessed his identity: "Hui Wang. I am Hai Rui."

"You are so bold, you dare to scold the emperor Long live the reason why you are so sick today is all your fault!" King Yu said through gritted teeth.  Tears flashed in his eyes, as if they were full of murderous intent like a knife: "Tell me, who ordered that piece of paper?"

"No one is instigating it. Hai Rui scolded the emperor in the book, just so that no one will scold the emperor in the future." Hai Rui was already determined to die, so he naturally didn't care when he spoke.

    "You!" King Yu blushed.

"Okay, don't make any fuss!" Jiajing felt weak, and the previous excitement had completely disappeared.  He knew that the little bit of vitality he had gained thanks to Li Shizhen's medicine was passing away bit by bit: "Hai Rui, I have heard of your name before. Today I mainly want to see you. It can be regarded as fulfilling a wish. Let's see.  What does the famous Hai Gangfeng look like? He is a king. He takes care of the country left by his ancestors. But the country is not just for one family. The country, the emperor is the towering mountain. And the people of the world  That¡¯s the river. The ever-flowing water.¡±

Jiajing pointed at Wu Jie: "Wu Jie said something right when he warned me before. The court is a ship, and the people are water. Water can carry a boat, but it can also capsize it. Mountains and rivers, hehe, you are the only one like you.  The clear stream sees itself as the river, and compares your father to the mountain. But the water submerges the top of the mountain. This is flooding. I know that you want me to kill you, and then leave your name in the annals of history.  In people's hearts, I am accused of killing Qingliu, so I have to kill Qingliu like this."

King Yu stared at Hai Rui with red eyes: "Father, please kill this beast." It can be said that the reason why his father is so ill is not because of the trouble that Hai Rui suffered, but he hates Hai Rui deeply.  .

Hai Rui didn't say anything, just stood upright.

Jiajing sighed again: "This dynasty governs the world with filial piety. If I don't kill you, my son will definitely kill you when he succeeds to the throne in the future. Not killing you would be unfilial. In order not to embarrass my son, I will let you live through this year."  "

Hai Rui's body was shaken, and he fell down and said, "I am willing to put him to death in order to preserve your saintliness."

Jiajing smiled: "Come here, take him down."

When Hai Rui retreated, Jiajing was obviously a little tired and waved his sleeves: "Everyone, please go down. Prince Yu and Wu Jie will stay."

The snow is still falling outside, there is no wind, and it seems extremely quiet.

When all the people in the palace were gone and there was no fourth person left, Jiajing suddenly took out an imperial edict from his arms and handed it to King Yu. It read, "Pardon the edict of Hai Ruizhao, the head of the household department!"  Let it be promulgated today. Zhang Juzheng said that Hai Rui is a knife, and only those with virtue can hold it. Otherwise, I am afraid that I will hurt myself. I have little virtue, so I will leave this person to you. Do not harm him in the future. My life, my body has nothing to do with him.  "

These words were said so desolately, and they actually had the flavor of leaving a last message.

Wu Jie and King Yu were startled at the same time, but saw that Jiajing's face had turned gray-black and his body softened.

    "Long live!"

    "Father!"

Wu Jie and King Yu hugged Jiajing at the same time, feeling that the body was as light as weightless and completely withered.

"LetPrince Yu carry me to the bedcan you carry me?"

King Yu gritted his teeth and carried Jiajing on his back. He gritted his teeth and walked step by step towards the house and put him on the bed.  The tears kept flowing: "Your Majesty, I will go and tell Li Shizhen right now"

Jiajing grabbed Prince Yu and said, "Wait"

    "Father."

Jiajing reached out and touched Prince Yu's temples again: "I have gray hair. I haven't seen you for ten years. How can I get so old? Even though our father and son are not far apart, we have never seen each other for so many years. In fact, I  I'm thinking of you too, don't blame me, I'm not a qualified father."

"Father." King Yu couldn't help but finally cried loudly.

"Don't cry. We are all going to be emperors. Do we still need to be polite?" Jiajing frowned: "Kneel down."

King Yu knelt on the ground, still crying.

Jiajing glanced at Wu Jie: "Keep it in your arms and give it to Prince Yu."

Wu Jie's heart seemed to jump out of his chest: Could it be a posthumous edict that Jiajing would pass the throne to King Yu at the last moment?

He put his hand into Jiajing's arms and found an imperial edict. Strangely, there was not a word written on it.

Wu Jie and King Yu opened the imperial edict, but the names of four people were written inside: Xu Jie, Gao Gong, Zhang Juzheng, and Wu Jie.

Wu Jie was stunned when he saw his name.

Jiajing looked at King Yu with loving eyes: "Among these four people, I have already sent the first three to be your masters. Just use them in order. You are not a talented person and need to be assisted by wise ministers.  .With these three people here, our empire in the Ming Dynasty is still stable."

How could King Yu not know that his father was deciding on the cabinet candidates for him after he ascended the throne?  Na Na could still hold it back, so he cried and asked: "Father, please tell me, where are these three people?" Apparently he was asking about Wu Jie.  He felt a little unclear about Wu Jie.  This man has a lot of power, but doesn't know how to use it.

Jiajing: "You are already old. I left Wu Jie to my grandson."

    "What about after Wu Festival?"

    "Shen Shi Xing."

    "What happens next?"

"Children and grandchildren will have their own blessings, and that is Zhu Xujun's business."

"Wow!" King Yu crawled beside the bed and cried loudly.

"It's too noisy. I want to talk to Wu Jie quietly for a while. You can go down!" Jiajing began to have difficulty speaking: "Go and call the three elders into Xiyuan. With them here, there will be no chaos. I will do it for you."  You¡¯ve made arrangements.¡±

    ¡¡

Wait until King Yu leaves.  Wu Jie's heart was still beating.

Looking at the situation in front of him, Jiajing was dealing with his funeral arrangements, but why didn¡¯t he draft a posthumous edict?

Jiajing was almost speechless.  But the body consciousness is still very clear.  He continued intermittently: "I have always believed in gods immortal arts, but only now did I know that. Those are all false things, but useless but I refuse to admit defeat. I know that the courtiers will definitely  You are making a big fuss about this, saying that you believe in alchemists, and that you are neglecting the government I don't know how to explain all this to you in the edict Wu Jie, you and I have been together for five years, right?  You understand my thoughts best, so you can write this edict and pass the throne to King Yu."

Wu Jie¡¯s eyes were red. He had been working next to Jiajing for almost five years. People are not grass and trees. How can they be ruthless? Seeing that Jiajing was about to die, he felt a burst of sadness for no reason.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Wu Jie took out the jade seal from Jiajing's arms, thought for a moment, and wrote a testament of about a thousand words.

The content of this edict is exactly the same as in real history. First, it is the Jiajing Emperor's review, admitting his mistake of being addicted to Taoist mysticism, and expressing his remorse; secondly, it is the reason for the emperor's dismissal and punishment for criticizing the emperor's indulging in Taoist mysticism over the years.  The officials should be rehabilitated and expressed that they would be re-employed; third, the Taoist priests who had previously helped the emperor Xuan Xiu should be punished; fourth, virtuous talents should be re-employed.

This edict completely liquidated and reviewed the mistakes made during the Jiajing Dynasty, and also created conditions for King Yu to implement the New Deal after he ascended the throne.

"I guess Jiajing also knew that Wu Jie would write like this. Even if there was no Wu Jie, let Xu Jie and the others come,"??It will be so.  So, I just pretended not to see it.

Wu Jie finished writing the edict: "Your Majesty, I have finished drafting the edict. Do I need to read it to you?"

Jiajing: ¡°No need, let¡¯s think about something else.¡±

Wu Jie: "Yes, Your Majesty." He slowly read the "Xingdu Zhi" he had brought earlier.

Jiajing struggled to say: "I don't want to listen to this. I have already figured it out. Future generations will comment on Qianqiu's meritorious deeds. There is no point in writing a book for yourself. Read a passage from "The Story of the Stone". The book has no ending.  I want to hear what happened to Baoyu and the others later. I think back then, wasn¡¯t it because of this book that you and I met each other?¡±

"Yes, Your Majesty." Wu Jie relied on his memory and slowly read out the last chapter of "A Dream of Red Mansions":

One day, I walked to Lingyi. It was cold and snowing that day, so I stopped in a quiet place.  Jia Zheng sent everyone ashore to express their gratitude to his friends. He always said that the ship would be sailing immediately, but they did not dare to work.  There was only one servant left on the boat to serve him. He wrote a letter home in the boat, and first had to send someone to get home early.  When I wrote about Baoyu, I stopped writing.  Looking up, I suddenly saw a man in the slight snow shadow on the bow of the boat. He was bareheaded, barefoot, and wearing a gorilla felt cloak. He bowed down to Jia Zheng.  Jia Zheng didn't recognize him clearly, so he hurriedly got out of the boat, waiting to hold him up and ask him who he was.  The man had bowed four times and stood up to ask questions.  Jia Zhengcai was about to return the bow, but when he saw it, it was none other than Baoyu.  Jia Zheng was shocked and asked hurriedly: "Is it Baoyu?" The man was silent and looked both happy and sad.  Jia Zheng asked again: "If you are Baoyu, how come you are dressed like this and come here?" Before Baoyu could reply, he saw two people coming up on the bow of the boat.  , hurry up and leave." He said.  The three people floated ashore.  Jia Zheng ignored the slippery ground.  I came to catch up quickly and saw those three people in front of me. How could I catch up?  I could only hear the three of them saying, whoever composed the song said:

I live at the peak of Qinggeng.  I am traveling in the Hongmeng space.  Who will die with me? Who will I follow?  It's so vague that now it's back to the wilderness!

Jia Zheng listened and hurried over, turning a small slope.  Suddenly disappeared.  Jia Zheng was so anxious that he was out of breath and frightened.  Looking back, he saw that his servant was also coming. Jia Zheng asked, "Did you see those three just now?" The servant said, "Yes. I was chasing after the master, so I came here. Later I saw  Master, those three people are gone." Jia Zheng was about to move forward, but saw a vast white wilderness with no one there.  Jia Zhengzhi was weird and had to come back.

    ¡¡

"It's so lonely!" Suddenly.  Jiajing on the bed let out a long breath.

"Your Majesty." He shouted twice, but heard the voice again.

The snow is still falling lonely outside.

Outside Xiyuan, Shui Sheng shot Chen Hong's horse to the ground with a spear.

He was furious.  He suddenly stood up from the ground in a panic.  Shouted: "Here comes someone, kill this thief!"

    Shuisheng also shouted: "Do it!"

It was a fight before my eyes.  At this time, a rapid sound of horse hooves came like thunder.

Then I saw Zhu Xizhong running at the front and shouted: "There is an imperial edict, everyone puts down their weapons, Xiyuan is under martial law, and the place is taken over by the Wucheng Soldiers and Horses Division and the Jinyi Personal Army Command Yamen."

Chen Hong shouted: "Mr. Cheng Guo, what do you want to do?"

Zhu Xizhong said solemnly: "I have the emperor's decree here. Anyone who refuses to obey is a traitor and will be killed immediately!"

The eunuchs in the East Factory were stunned for a moment, and then threw their weapons to the ground in twos and threes.

At this moment, the loud Jingyang Bell rang, and the sound echoed over the city of Beijing.

Everyone was stunned. This was a sign of the emperor's great success.

"Your Majesty, Your Majesty!" Chen Hong suddenly cried loudly.

    King Jing¡¯s Mansion.

Xu Wei was still playing the piano, but the tune had changed and became intense.

    ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? off

A group of royal guards wearing flying fish uniforms rushed in: "Imperial decree: Even if King Jing returns to Anlu, Hubei to join the feudal clan, he will not stay for a moment."

    "Dang!" The string broke.

"You can't make plans!" Xu Wei cried loudly, suddenly grabbed the silver hammer used to knock tea cakes and smashed it on his forehead: "Hu Gong, Hu Gong, Xu Wei is incompetent!"

    *********************************************

The news of Jiajing's death was notified to all the officials in Beijing all day and night.

Under the snowIt was so great that on the morning of the first day of the Lunar New Year, the Meridian Gate opened wide. On both sides were kneeling officials of the seventh rank and above, and there was a cry on the snow.

At noon, the five ministers of the new dynasty's cabinet came out of the side door one after another to promulgate the imperial edict of Emperor Daxing.

Xu Jie, Gao Gong, Zhang Juzheng, Li Chunfang and Wu Jie are all dressed in plain clothes.

Soon after the five ministers of the cabinet came out and stood at the door, a royal chariot with a mourning cloth slowly drove in front of the officials.  The filial King Yu got out of the car.

"Long live, long live!" Everyone roared.

Nodding to the five ministers, Wu Jie took a step forward, cleared his throat, and read aloud the legacy of Emperor Jiajing: "The survivors will be summoned, the dead will be remembered, and those in prison will be released and reinstated  "

A new era has begun, known in history as the Longwan Reform.

It¡¯s just that this reform will be presided over by Wu Jielai.

A new history has just begun.
