Text Chapter 268

The sunshine that can melt ice and snow in winter is shining unreservedly on the earth at this time. The entire Wangshan City has already moved on from the last incident where a meteor fell on the ice and snow mountains and caused martial law in the city, and has returned to the bustle of the past.  The streets are full of tourists, bringing vitality to this city that is surrounded by ice and snow.

By calculation, it was already the fifteenth day after that day.

It was still the main room as before. At this time, there were only two people sitting at the top of the room, seeming to be arguing about something.

"How could it be so fast? If you are away from home, you are not familiar with the place. You must be fully prepared. How can you be in such a hurry?" Ying Luo wanted to stop his daughter from leaving with some worry.

But it seemed that Tang Anran was determined to break away from her mother's wings as soon as possible. She said calmly: "Daughter, I am not young anymore. I can't live under your shadow forever. The eagle can only soar in the sky.  Rest on the treetop. Don't worry, mom, if I encounter a problem that can't be solved, I will remember to come and trouble you." As he spoke, a sweet smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and he grabbed one of Ying Luo's arms and kept shaking it.

Facing her coquettish daughter, Ying Luo felt that things were not as impossible as she imagined.  So no matter how reluctant she was, she didn't stop her daughter from growing up.

Ying Luo touched her daughter's hair and said, "Okay, you will go to the west of the mainland to study. To protect your safety, I asked Vio to escort you and take the child with you."

Tang Anran was surprised and felt a burst of ecstasy in his heart.  "Okay, Mom. I'm going to tell him the good news now." After saying that, he stood up and jumped away.

"This child is still so irritable. It's really not reassuring. Forget it, let her go." Ying Luo sighed slightly, thinking that it would be more worry-free to go and warn Wei Ao.

It has been four days since Liu Shu woke up.  For four days he stayed in the original courtyard.  Stepping out of the courtyard is the noisy street.  It turns out that the desertedness on the streets at that time only appeared at extraordinary moments.  Now Liu Shu lives here, and various sounds from the street in the morning are heard from time to time in the deserted courtyard, bringing some popularity to the courtyard.

This place is located in a corner of the inner city of Wangshan, and is as ordinary as the hundreds of small courtyards in the city.

Liu Shu was leaning on the back of the chair, crossing her legs and sipping the hot tea that had just been delivered by the restaurant opposite.  There is a soft white quilt spread on the bed not far from the chair that has not yet been folded up. All this shows the laziness and leisure of the owner of the house.

"Bang" Suddenly there was a muffled sound outside. Before Liu Shu could stand up to see what was going on, the person who swaggered into Liu Shu's room had already arrived.

"You lazy boy, haven't you gotten up yet? It's three o'clock in the morning, and the sun is shining on your butt!" A sweet child's voice came, and then the owner of the voice appeared at the door of the room.

"Oh, you really just got up? What can I say to you? You are an idiot with no enterprising spirit." Tang Anran had an angry expression on his face, but the cunning hidden deep in his eyes still showed that this guy is boring.  Ji came to cause trouble.

Liu Shu had a sad look on his face and had to deal with it: "Miss, what else do you want? I sold my whole person to you. You have to treat 'your people' kindly, don't you?"

Although he has come to a new world, Liu Shu is still at a loss as to the unchanging truth that "a penny cannot defeat a hero."

So a young girl who claimed to be as beautiful as a flower, kind and pure extended a "helping hand" to Liu Shu and temporarily lent him money to live on.  As a condition, Liu Shu must be at your call anytime from now on, and be by Miss An An's side.

Since Liu Shu joined, Wangshan City has become even more chaotic.  The kittens and puppies are in a state of panic all day long.

Although the two had a serious quarrel in the city, Ying Luo, who heard about what the two had done, ignored it.  Firstly, it's because Tang Anran is leaving here to go to school soon, and there are really not many days when he can make a fuss.  Secondly, it was because Tang Anran, who had found a partner, always had a sincere smile on his face.  This made Ying Luo very happy because she had not fulfilled much of her responsibilities as a mother due to her heavy official duties.  What's more, what happened in Wangshan City was something she couldn't resolve by diving into the Palace Master, so she indulged Tang Anran.

Although Tang Anran likes to play some pranks, who doesn't like a kind and naturally beautiful little beauty?  Besides, children's pranks are just a little troublesome to adults, and they won't arouse other people's ill will.  From the above, it can be concluded that the little witch An An is very easy to get along with in Wangshan City.

Tang Anran stood beside Liu Shu so cutely, grabbing Liu Shu's arm with his two small hands and shaking it constantly.  She said sweetly: "Liu Shu, how about we go to the flea market in the south of the city today? What did you do last time?"The little deformed mantis that came back is so cute, but how lonely is it?  Let's see if we can find a companion for it this time, okay?  "After saying that, a pair of pure and lovely eyes stared at Liu Shu, giving him no chance to refuse.

Liu Shu thought how could it be so easy?  In fact, that day he was also a blind cat who ran into a dead mouse and bought back a very clever toy at a low price.  If we can still have such good luck this time, then this flea market can be renamed as a treasure market.

But who asked Tang Anran to speak?  Since someone is willing to lend you money selflessly, then this is considered a debt of gratitude.  Monetary debts are easy to repay, but human debts are difficult to repay.  If the other party is a loan shark, then Liu Shu will definitely try his best to pay back the money as soon as possible and then be self-sufficient.  But since they are not looking for money, they are not in a hurry to pay back the money.  Liu Shu, who had followed Tang Anran in mischief for several days, now felt comfortable spending Tang Anran's money, unlike when he had lived a frugal life in the beginning and then eagerly wanted to make a fortune quickly in another world.

After drinking the last sip of water in the tea cup, Liu Shu stood up and walked to the door first while Tang Anran was waiting boredly. Without looking back, he said to Tang Anran: "But we have agreed in advance that the expenses this time will be  It¡¯s on your head.¡±

Tang Anran stuck out his tongue as he looked at the figure walking in front, and made another face.  He muttered "cheapskate!" and then hurriedly followed.  This situation makes people confused about who owes whom money.

It was the weekend, and the two of them came to the street and quickly blended into the crowd.  Since the regulations in the inner city do not allow demon pets to walk around the streets at will, the order of the crowd is still good under the patrol of the city guards.  Looking at the well-equipped city guards passing by from time to time, Liu Shu didn't know when he would be able to have his own power like them.  With the desire for power in his heart, Liu Shu's pace speeded up unconsciously.

Finally, the two of them came to Nancheng District, where there is a flea market in the inner city.  Because Wangshan City is divided into a modern outer city and a primitive inner city, and relatively speaking, the overall level of residents in the inner city is much higher than that in the outer city. Therefore, although there is also a flea market in the outer city, the things there are really very good.  Most of them are junk. Unlike here in the inner city, you can still find good things if you search carefully.

The streets nearby sell used goods, including stalls and shops.  As for the authenticity of the goods, it is difficult to say. No matter where you go, you can only trust your own eyes, otherwise you will definitely be ripped off.

As soon as we approached the market, a dull heat wave hit us.  The weekend flea market was absolutely crowded, and Liu Shu and Tang Anran had no choice but to be carried away by the crowd.  The two of them walked around like this, exploring the remaining heat of old goods like a quick glance.  Although I didn¡¯t gain anything, it opened my eyes.

"Stop! If we go any further, I will either die of suffocation or be squeezed to death. Find a place to rest first. There will be fewer people after noon." Tang Anran was already thinner than Liu Shu, and the girl's physical strength was also insufficient.  In less than an hour, I was exhausted and sweating profusely.  He quickly stopped and took Liu Shu's hand and walked through the crowd. After a while, the two of them got rid of the crowded crowd and arrived at a cool teahouse.

In this inner-city business district where land is at a premium, it is difficult to find such a cool and free resting place.  To build such a teahouse here and not open it to the public is no longer something that can be solved with money.  Of course, Diving Palace, as the ruler of this city, is fully capable of this.

Liu Shu was pulled by Tang Anran all the way to the second floor of the tea house, and found a seat by the window to sit down.  It was only then that Liu Shu's expression returned from a strange expression to normal.  It turned out that after entering the teahouse, he discovered that this teahouse was a place specifically for the city guards who were patrolling nearby to rest and rest, and it was not open to the public.  He, a humble citizen of Dou Sheng, was able to take advantage of the second generation ancestor opposite him who still had a nonchalant expression on his face today.

Tang Anran said to Liu Shu with a proud look on his face: "What I said is right. From now on, follow me to keep your favorite and spicy drinks, man! Here are two big bowls of tea."

After listening to Tang Anran's words, Liu Shu burst into tears. With such a promising young lady, does drinking tea from a big bowl count as a popular drink?  Where did she learn to be so cruel?  I really impressed her.

Seeing Liu Shu's expression full of disdain and indifference, Tang Anran snorted and said: "At least we don't have to hang out in the sun anymore. Not only are you not grateful to me, but you still treat me like this. Hey! What kind of expression do you have?  ?¡±

"Oh, I'm tired." Liu Shu's concise answer always made Tang Anran crazy but there was nothing he could do about it.

Tang Anran was really tired, and even her little devil temper had calmed down a bit and she did not go to quarrel with Liu Shu.  Seeing that Liu Shu ignored him and just looked down at the people coming and going on the street through the window, Tang Anran simply put his little head down and waited for someone to come.Plan to bring tea to quench your thirst.

After being silent for a while, Tang Anran suddenly remembered the conversation between his mother and himself this morning, and suddenly became energetic.  With a cunning look in his eyes, he said to Liu Shu: "I'm taking advantage of the break to tell you something. It's my fifteenth birthday at the beginning of next month, and I will go to school after my birthday. Because there is such a person  Mom who is omnipotent, so I want to go to the famous Sunset College on the west side of the mainland. Say, will you miss me?" After saying that, Tang Anran tilted his head and stared at Liu Shu with evil intentions, waiting for him.  answer.

When she heard that Tang Anran was celebrating her birthday next month, Liu Shu's eyes suddenly lit up, but she had no reaction to what she said later about going to school.  This is not to blame Liu Shu. He is helpless. Even if he goes to school to learn knowledge in order to integrate into the world after a while, he will only go to a very ordinary school.  How can it have anything to do with the mainland's top Sunset Ordinary College?  Due to the huge gap, although Liu Shu felt a little reluctant to give up, he still didn't show the slightest expression on his face.  So he gave Tang Anran, who was full of expectations, a terrible answer.

    "Well maybe."

Tang Anran, who was looking forward to it, stopped talking when he heard Liu Shu's answer. His face sank and he sat across from Liu Shu, sulking. He only heard her hateful voice: "What an idiot! How could you say that?  ?Aren¡¯t we good friends?¡±

The young man¡¯s reserve put him in an embarrassing situation, and Liu Shu regretted it for a while.

Not long after, it was Tang Anran who spoke first: "My mother told me to let you go to school with me."

Liu Shu asked in astonishment, "Can I do it too?"

Tang Anran replied angrily: "That's right. Otherwise, do you think that as a star envoy, you can only help you eat without spending money? All normal living expenses of a born star envoy until adulthood are free. Although  You said you haven¡¯t received the certificate from the Water God Hall, but our Diving Palace is not short of the money.¡±

Thinking of the money he had borrowed from Tang Anran in recent days, Liu Shu couldn't help but said to Tang Anran unhappily: "Okay, you actually lied to me. I thought you were willing to lend me money with good intentions."

Unexpectedly, Tang Anran had a bigger reaction. She raised her head and looked Liu Shu in the face, and shouted in a somewhat angry tone: "The money I borrowed from you is all my own!"

Liu Shu was stunned by what Tang Anran said.  Thinking about what the little girl opposite him who was actually three years younger than him said, Liu Shu realized that he had always ignored the spirit of sharing in the other person's kind heart.  Tang Anran was willing to share his pocket money with a friend he had only known for a few days, but it was unreasonable for him to say this to her!

"An Ran, I'm sorry, I was wrong." Liu Shu said with his head lowered.  He has always regarded Tang Anran as a playful little kid. Even when he was playing pranks with her, Liu Shu still took care of Tang Anran as his junior.  After all, fourteen or fifteen years old is still considered a teenager, while seventeen or eighteen years old can already be regarded as an adult.  Only now did Liu Shu realize that the age gap between the two was just that of brother and sister.

"Okay, I forgive you." Tang Anran is still a child after all, and he always forgets any unpleasant things quickly.  So he continued: "If you pass the professional assessment when you graduate from the academy, you will truly start the path of cultivation. I plan to be a beast master in the future, what about you?"

"Well, I haven't thought about it yet. The four major training systems each have their own strengths. The combat master and the energy master practice more alone, while the craftsman needs to continuously accumulate experience to make complex magic boxes. As for the beast master, the grinder  Practice the coordination between yourself and Warcraft. These four major professions can be said to be very different and have no overlap. It is really difficult to decide." Liu Shu said in embarrassment.

"Mom said that if the four major professions cooperate with each other in battle, the result will be twice the result with half the effort. However, one's time and talent are limited, so it is better to specialize in one." Tang Anran thought about it and expressed Ying Luo's opinion.

"Then let's do this for now. There are already fewer people on the street. Let's go." Liu Shu, who had no clue, finally decided to wait and see.  So he pulled Tang Anran and walked out of the teahouse together, looking for gadgets that interested him.

Unknowingly, the sun has set in the west.  The dusk sunlight gives people a vague feeling, as if they are temporarily separated from the world and floating around like air.

The two people wandering around no longer have the mood or energy to continue wandering.  Liu Shu dragged her exhausted body and said goodbye to Tang Anran, and then watched her walk towards the Diving Hall in Nippori.  This feeling of having sustenance and concern in his heart temporarily relieved the physical fatigue, and at the same time warmed his heart. From the moment Tang Anran said the words "The money I borrowed from you is my own", in  In Liu Shu's heart, Tang Anran suddenly became a sister-like existence, worthy of loving and protecting her with all her strength. So, for the fifteenth birthday of this sister whom she recognized, Liu Shu turned around and walked towards the flea market, silently thinking about something in her heart.  Under the setting sun, the shadow of the young man walking alone was lengthened, and for a moment his figure became tall and straight. "Boss, I heard that you train craftsman apprentices here, right?" The door of the thrift store was pushed open.  Opened.

The visitor¡¯s childish voice attracted the attention of the thrift store owner, who was lying on a large rocking chair with his eyes closed to relax.  The middle-aged boss opened his eyes slightly and looked at the young man standing in front of him.  The boy's clothes were ordinary, neither shabby nor fancy.  After a moment's thought, the middle-aged boss classified the visitor as a young housekeeper who wanted to learn a craft to make up for the family income.

"One thousand points, food and accommodation are included, just come. The semester is one month. If you are satisfied with your performance after completing the studies, you can come and work here." The store owner's calm voice came from the chair behind the counter.

One thousand points is equivalent to one month's salary of a low-income person in the city. It is really cheap to use this kind of money to learn a craft that can support your family well, and it is definitely within the affordable range for ordinary people.  But it was a huge problem for Liu Shu who had no money. The total money he spent in the past few days probably didn't even amount to 1,000 points.

"Well, can you make it cheaper? I don't have that much money." Liu Shu asked in a low voice.

¡°600 points for tuition, food and lodging are at your own expense.¡± The store owner, who had seen this situation many times, quoted another price without hesitation.

"Uh, can it be cheaper?" Liu Shu asked reluctantly, but his voice was a little low.

Hearing this, the thrift store owner frowned, sat up from the recliner and looked at the young man standing in front of the counter.

    "how much do you have?"

"200 points." This was the result Liu Shu counted the zero notes in his pocket three times before entering the store.

The thrift store owner sounded a little impatient.  He waved his hand and said to Liu Shu: "Go! Don't make trouble here. Are you kidding me?"

Liu Shu, who had made up his mind, was not going to give up just like that.  He persisted in bargaining with his boss: "Do you think I can work here to reduce my tuition fees?"

Looking at Liu Shu's thin figure, the grocery store owner asked unceremoniously: "What can you do? Apart from technical work here, adults are not willing to do anything else."

After hearing what the other party said, Liu Shu¡¯s face flashed with hesitation, but he still continued to fight for it.  "I can do everything the guys can do, organize goods and receive guests."

It¡¯s really tiring to be the only one taking care of the store all this time.  The store owner couldn't afford to hire a waiter, so the store owner also had some thoughts.  Although that young man didn't do much, it wouldn't be impossible if he just asked for a tuition fee exemption.  After some thought, the grocery store owner agreed to Liu Shu's request.

"Then I'll treat you like a waiter, and don't use those 200 points to embarrass me. I'll teach you how to balance the two, and no one owes anyone anything. Work starts at eight o'clock and closes at four o'clock. You come in half an hour early every day.  Open the door and organize the goods. I will teach you the theoretical knowledge of the craftsman from 6 to 8 o'clock in the evening. During the day, when no one is around, you can go to the back door warehouse to find scraps to practice your skills. The skills to make a living as a craftsman are all in your hands. But  You have to work diligently and don't be a pushover. As for the work date, it will end on the day you finish studying." After saying that, the shop owner came out from behind the counter and patted Liu Shu's head to show encouragement.

"Can the number of study days be shortened? I want to learn it as soon as possible."

There are 25 days left before Tang Anran¡¯s birthday.  Although Liu Shu was very satisfied with the conditions offered by the shop owner, he still didn't have enough time.

"Hey, don't worry, young man, my theory class will be over in fifteen days. The rest is all up to you to study on your own. You should also work hard to gain a reputation. If you can become a formal craftsman in the future, I can also compete with others.  You¡¯re bragging.¡± The shopkeeper looked at Liu Shu with encouragement and smiled honestly.

"Thank you, uncle. My name is Liu Shu."

"You're welcome. Just call me Uncle Wang. Don't be too grateful to me. In fact, all I can teach you is some very superficial knowledge of a craftsman. After you come out, you will just be a craftsman's apprentice, just making a living.  "Uncle Wang, who was well aware of the huge gap in strength and status between apprentice craftsmen and real master craftsmen, felt sad for a while.

So Liu Shu stayed at Uncle Wang¡¯s thrift shop with peace of mind, working and learning the craftsman¡¯s craft.  A few days later, the Star Envoy certificate from Shuishen Hall also arrived. It was a dark brown jade sign with a tree texture, and the word "Êü" was engraved in the middle.

The sign hanging on his waist actually made Liu Shu live a lot more comfortably in the following days.  At the same time, I also heard that after the Shuishen Pavilion found out about Liu Shu,The embassy was shocked and hoped to report to the headquarters as soon as possible.  But Liu Shu didn't want to meet the "magic stick" in Tang Anran's words so soon.

Although Liu Shu¡¯s privilege as a Star Envoy allowed him to walk sideways in the city, it was the crabs that were really walking sideways, not the people.  Liu Shu still lives a very low-key life.  And his skills as a craftsman were slowly improving, which greatly comforted Wang Shulao, who was a teacher.  But because Liu Shu spent most of his time working and studying, he had very little time to play with Tang Anran.  Tang Anran was very dissatisfied with Liu Shu's "strike", but he could do nothing about the dull Liu Shu.  Faced with Tang Anran's questioning, accusations and even later fake crying, Liu Shu was always able to defeat Tang Anran psychologically with simple actions.  For example, one day Tang Anran came to Liu Shu to play "turn the rope", but after five minutes Tang Anran lost six times.

¡°Humph, these are all leftovers from brother¡¯s fun.  Liu Shuru was thinking about it, and she didn't think it was such an unscrupulous thing to bully a girl who was actually three years younger than her.  Tang Anran, who lost according to the agreement, could not disturb his whole day casually.  Liu Shu relied on similar bets to give himself time to calm down and do what he wanted to do.

In fact, Liu Shu didn't dislike playing with Tang Anran at all, but because he wanted to do something meaningful secretly behind Tang Anran's back, he could only put her aside for the time being.  But Liu Shu would still spare a little time from time to time to go mess around with Tang Anran.

Days always fly by in the busy life. In the blink of an eye, all of Uncle Wang's theoretical classes have been taught, and Liu Shu's work in the thrift store ended early at Uncle Wang's request.

"The profession of craftsman requires a wide range of knowledge. Lower-level apprentices need to master knowledge of machinery, object structure, drawing, etc. depending on their emphasis. They can be regarded as workers who have mastered advanced skills. Such people  The highest achievement is just the pinnacle of some ordinary technical fields. But high apprentices are different. They are people who are determined to advance to become craftsmen. The most unique characteristic of such people is that they have a creative heart. At the same time, they are equipped with dexterous hands.  , sharp eyes, subtle and accurate perception, they are the favorites of the God of Creation. When they truly possess superb skills, they can become a member of the divine craftsmen in the four major cultivation systems. As for the divine system  I cannot know the situation of the craftsman, but although I am already ordinary, you still have a chance. Only when you have the ability to explore this world will you truly appreciate the magic of this continent."  Uncle Wang gave an overview of the profession of craftsman for the last time.

"Uncle Wang, thank you for your teaching these days. You will always be my teacher." The corners of Liu Shu's eyes were slightly moist, and he was quite reluctant to let the course end.  In the past few days, Liu Shu has benefited a lot from the company of Uncle Wang, who is both a teacher and a friend, both as a craftsman and as a person.  When Liu Shu chose Uncle Wang's remote shop, it was just because those shops with good locations had formal craftsmen in charge, and the fees for training craftsman apprentices there were very expensive.

Although there are no knowledgeable formal craftsmen here, it was in this ordinary shop that Liu Shu laid a solid foundation under Uncle Wang's careful instruction.  There is a way to live in poverty, and a way to live in wealth.  Liu Shu didn't feel that he was inferior to those rich kids who studied under formal craftsmen.

"My child, I once longed to become a craftsman and explore the world, but I finally got to this point. I have lived to this age and I have accepted my fate. As a craftsman, I have traveled all over the world over the years. The passion I had when I was young has already  It has cooled down. Ever since the mother-in-law at home asked me to choose between her and the craftsman, Wang Youli, who had no talent but refused to admit defeat, has died. There is only one person left in the world who is guarding his wife and children.  Uncle Wang. After so many years, maybe if I choose again now, the result will still be the same.

But you are different, you are down-to-earth and hard-working, and your mind is quick and your thoughts are clear.  Most importantly, you have the creative heart necessary to become a master craftsman.  If you receive proper guidance, you will definitely become a master in the future.  I have said so many words to you, just because I hope you can make up your mind to climb to the top of the world instead of doing nothing like me.  Remember, maybe we are not the saviors of the whole world, but we can be our own heroes.  "Uncle Wang said to Liu Shu with a smile on his face, his heart full of expectations and blessings for him.

Liu Shu solemnly bowed to Uncle Wang, thanking this respectable ordinary person.  My plans for the future have become clearer.  He wants to explore the magic of this world and truly enjoy the joy of life.  If possible, you also need to figure out your mission for rebirth.

Liu Shu turned around and left, carrying the meaning of life on his shoulders.

The next thing Liu Shu has to do is to put a perfect end to this busy month.

The next day, Liu Shu walked through the flea market where people were coming and going. The boy¡¯s footsteps no longer looked like he was driving.Staggering like that at first.  After more than ten days of familiarity, Liu Shu already had a deep understanding of the huge flea market.  All of this was due to his help at the thrift store, which not only made Liu Shu a lot more mature in dealing with people, but also made him a familiar face in the thrift market.  At least nowadays, Liu Shu's purchases at the flea market are basically worth the money.

Liu Shu walked through the streets with ease, and after twists and turns, he came to a remote shop.

This is a simple model store. No matter in terms of decoration or structural layout, it does not have the noble and exquisite atmosphere that ordinary stores want to express.  There was only an old man in his seventies in the shop, who was playing with dozens of smooth and polished wooden blocks. The wooden blocks were scattered all over the table, and the old man was just staring at the ordinary wooden blocks.  , it felt like someone came into the store without even looking at it and scolded: "Didn't the sign outside the door say it is closed today? Who is so rude!"

The old man scolded himself for a few words before looking up and seeing the person clearly.  After seeing the person coming, he put away his rude words towards guests and focused on the things in his hands.

"Baby, just watch your own business. If you make any noise to disturb me, you will not be welcome in my store from now on." The old man warned Liu Shu very seriously.  If he hadn't had a favorable impression of this young man who had been visiting him frequently recently, he might have driven Liu Shu away immediately.

Liu Shu was just curious because when he came, he noticed that although there was a closed sign in front of the door, there were noises coming from inside the house, so he rushed in rashly.  Seeing that the old man did not express any displeasure, Liu Shu relaxed and quietly browsed the items placed around him.  At the same time, I was curious about why the shop owner was so serious about this matter.

Liu Shu has become a regular visitor here since she was introduced to this store by Uncle Wang.  Liu Shu would come around every once in a while to see if there was anything he liked.  The reason why Uncle Wang introduced Liu Shu to this store is because the owner of this store, the old man Qi, is an out-and-out skilled craftsman.  Although model makers are not classified as craftsman apprentices, because there is no system of advanced professions and skills for model makers among divine craftsmen, Old Man Qi's skills are still well-known in this area.  Although the old man has a bad temper and a tough temper, how can someone without first-class skills dare to behave like this to his guests these days?

After browsing the items in the store, Liu Shu quietly came behind the old man and silently admired his movements.

Even after careful observation, most people cannot figure out what the purpose of these irregularly shaped wooden blocks is.  These wooden blocks are treated very finely, with a few protrusions here and a few grooves there. At a glance, it seems that these incomprehensible treatments can make this pile of wood blocks form a complete structure.  As the saying goes, insiders watch the door, while laymen watch the excitement.  Before these ordinary wooden blocks are completed, only the top craftsman apprentices can guess what the assembly will look like from these mysterious lines and combinations.

I saw the old man¡¯s fingers flying between the wooden blocks, and the coordination between his hands was without any stagnation, just like a computer operating according to the established program without any mistakes.  The old man's rough, calloused hands are as familiar with the rough or smooth wooden blocks as he is with breathing. Any movement between his fingers can complete the rotation, joining and splitting of the wooden blocks.  The wooden blocks seemed to be endowed with souls in the hands of the old man. Each of them found its connected parts, and finally formed an ingenious whole together.

Liu Shu stared at the miracle unfolding in front of him without daring to breathe. As time went by, the number of wooden blocks scattered on the table gradually decreased, and the shapes of the things assembled by the old man gradually became clearer.  Finally, a beautiful bird and animal that was half a man tall and had a proud expression appeared in front of Liu Shu's eyes. It was a lifelike phoenix!

The phoenix raised its head proudly, and its wings composed of more than a hundred carefully polished wood chips proudly stretched out. The specially baked wood chips showed a wonderful curvature, making the overall phoenix look more vivid.  The fluttering feathers on the bird's tail give it an air of nobility that cannot be blasphemed.  Although the entire body of the phoenix has not been painted, and the eyes have not been decorated, the entire model is lifelike and wonderful simply by relying on the original color of the wood.

The finishing touch of the entire model is that the phoenix soaring into the sky is not actually suspended in the air, but its tail is integrated with the sycamore tree model.  As the saying goes, good birds choose trees to roost in. The extraordinary temperament of the mythical beast Phoenix and the miniature sycamore tree carved from wood look surprisingly harmonious as a whole.  It is precisely because of the sycamore tree that this lifelike phoenix has an agile momentum that reaches up to the sky.

Liu Shu stared blankly at the model placed on the table. The shocking beauty of the model made him ignore everything around him for a moment, and only the proud and luxurious beast remained in his eyes.  halfAfterwards, Liu Shu turned his attention to the miracle maker, Master Qi.

Old man Qi looked at his masterpiece with satisfaction in his eyes.  After completing this amazing work that took more than ten days of preparation, he stood up and greeted the shocked young man behind him.

An old man and a young man sat opposite each other at the table used for entertaining guests in the store, and there was a silence between them.

Master Qi looked around at his works, sighed and said to Liu Shu: "Little doll, it's not that I don't want to part with it, but you have also seen that I worked hard to make this phoenix model. It was intended to be a model.  This is the treasure of the store. It is definitely the pinnacle of my life.

The inspiration for this phoenix shape came to mind only in recent years.  What I am most proud of in my life is this ancestral modeling skill.  But it is precisely because of this ingenious craftsmanship that I have a sense of arrogance in my heart.  I have always believed that if you have the ability to soar into the sky, you should fly regardless of the cost.  Therefore, the usual phoenix models are all flying in the air.  But as I grow older, my heart that has experienced vicissitudes of life has gradually changed.  As an old man, I finally realized that even the phoenix, which dominates the world, needs a sycamore tree to rest on. This is its birth destination and cannot be changed just because it can soar for nine days.

You see, I¡¯m seventy-three years old and I don¡¯t have a few more years to live.  It is my last wish in my life to have a stunning work by my side before entering the coffin.  I really can¡¯t sell this Phoenix model to you.  I also have some treasures in my store. You can choose one from them. This is my recognition, old man, of your frequent visits these days.  "

Liu Shu already had a plan in mind before coming, but it was only after seeing the miracle that he had just come up with the idea of ??purchasing this masterpiece.  Although this model is definitely valuable, Liu Shu still wanted to ask and test it.  But now that Master Qi said this, the thought that had just occurred was completely stopped.  So he continued to make his request according to his original idea.

¡°I have a request, I hope you can complete a work with me.

Since learning some of the basics of craftsmanship, I have been going to the video studio for a while every day.  Over ten days of observation gave me some understanding of the shapes and movements of the monsters.  Because the basis of my study is mainly in structure, electronics and mechanics.  So after careful consideration I came up with an idea.  I hope to combine your knowledge of models with my knowledge to create a new model, a model that can act according to established actions.  "

In fact, Liu Shu¡¯s idea originated from robots on the earth.  When he first saw these lifelike models, he thought, it would be perfect if these models could move like their real prototypes.  As for the video studio Liu Shu went to, it was established by video associations affiliated with Shuishen Museum across the mainland.  That is a place often visited by energy masters, because it is said that they can practice there.  The reason why Liu Shu went there was actually similar to the reason why other combat professions also went there. They all wanted to understand the characteristics and fighting methods of Warcraft by observing the image cards in the collection.  Although Liu Shufei, as a cultivator, had limited access to image cards, he still benefited a lot from many observations.  (To be continued.
