Text: Letter to book friends (remarks on completing this book)

By the first day of this month, "Chu" has been completed. The reason why I have delayed writing this final statement until now is that I really don't know what to say.

"Chu" was originally a very huge plan. The length of the plan was about three million words. Restoring Qin's territory was only the first step in fighting for world supremacy. Repeling the Xiongnu, appropriating the Yuezhi, and occupying the Hexi Corridor was only a step toward conquering the world.  The final result was the collision between the Yellow River Civilization in the East and the Mediterranean Civilization in the West when we went out to conquer the world.  However, due to various reasons, at the end of Chapter 2 of Volume 4, after Xiang Yu surrendered and the country was unified, I suddenly found that the scope of activities of the protagonist who became the lord of the world suddenly became smaller. If I continued writing, not only would the national strength at that time be difficult to  Support, and the protagonist is not the protagonist. This has been fully reflected in the last chapter.  The son of a rich man cannot sit down in court, and Lao Zhuang cannot write a plot in which the Gongwei, who is the master of the world, has to charge into battle. Therefore, writing the subsequent plots will seriously deviate from the basic requirements of online writing.

On the other hand, compared with writing "Cao Chong", the historical background of "Chu" requires more information to be verified. Lao and Zhuang have recently had heavier work tasks, so it is difficult to balance them all. The more content is described, the more information is needed.  There are more, but the time is getting less and less. "Chu" has made me feel exhausted, and I have lost the original intention of writing online articles to entertain myself first. In order not to give everyone a bad ending, I had to end it early.

Therefore, "Chu" is an incomplete work.  Not only can many subsequent stories not be continued, but also in the process of unifying the country, there are very few stories without the presence of the protagonist that I have consciously omitted. For example, the palace struggle of the Qin Dynasty was originally a focus, but considering that it cannot be  I have been separated from the protagonist for too long, and I have just brushed it off.  In fact, the political struggle in the late Qin Dynasty is also a profile that deserves to be outlined in detail.

Fortunately, Meng Da is writing "The Chronicles of the Qin Empire". Although there is a slight difference in time, I believe that with Meng Da's skill, he will definitely write it better than me and have a more historical sense.

Because of exhaustion, because there was not enough time to verify the information, and in order to relax himself, Lao Zhuang decided to leave history temporarily and write something that would make him feel more relaxed.  The new book "The Legend of Yue Fei's Army Reborn" is about the story of Yue Yun, a winning official, who traveled to another world. So far, Lao Zhuang has only checked out one book, "Yue Fei's Generals and Staff", and only briefly flipped through it.  , the rest are just random thoughts. Compared with the previous preparation of a large amount of information, it is really comfortable.

As for history, of course I can still write. There are many stories about the Qin and Han Dynasties that I think are worth writing. To paraphrase a line from the Terminator Governor: "I'll be back!" But when will it be, Lao and Zhuang have no specific plans, maybe  Soon, maybe it will take a little longer. In short, we have to wait for Lao Zhuang's mood to recover.

When talking about Xinpiao astronomical literature, the first character that comes to mind is Yue Fei, and the second one that comes to mind is Xin Qiji. Later, due to the influence of Mr. Yi Zhongtian's "Taste of the Three Kingdoms", I switched to the Three Kingdoms of Qin and Han.  Among the Yue Family Army, the character Yue Fei is too heavy and depressing, so I chose Yue Yun.  The Yue Yun in my mind is the handsome young man holding a silver hammer in the novel, not the rough man with a vague face standing behind Yue Fei in the official history.  Since I don¡¯t want to write about the Yue Yun in the official history, of course I¡¯d better make it a fiction. Since I¡¯ve made it up, let¡¯s just leave it to another world. This way I won¡¯t have to ask anyone for evidence. Let me state in advance that everything mentioned in the new book has no evidence.  Necessary, because a lot of it is just my imagination.

The main purpose of writing this article is to get rid of historical evidence and take a breath.

The new book has been uploaded. It is hard to say whether it is comfortable to breathe. It remains to be tested by time, and it also depends on whether your support is strong.

Finally, I once again highly recommend the powerful "The Records of the Great Qin Empire". This is one of the two books I am pursuing.  As the object of admiration of Lao and Zhuang, Mengda is also a non-mainstream that has not been included in various lists, but it has to be said that when it comes to the depth of history, Mengda is second to none.  For book lovers who have transcended the level of novices and have a special hobby to pry into historical affairs, "The Chronicles of the Qin Empire" may be the last story of the Qin Dynasty that can be read.

I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to all book friends who support Lao and Zhuang!
