The front of Valhalla Fortress rumbled, and at this moment the battle on the ground finally started.

The old dwarf Odum stood on the battlement, holding his dwarf helmet with one hand, and the middle-aged hunter supported him behind him.  He saw purple crystal clusters rushing towards the city like a torrent.  Among those crystal monsters, a terrifying giant beast was crashing into a nearby tower, causing the entire city wall to tremble and shout loudly:

"Put me down quickly, those damn things are coming, get my hammer!"

The middle-aged hunter quickly let go of this guy.  Oldham took a small step back and stepped back from the battlement. He straightened out his crooked armor and said to the hunter: "Thank you very much. You are so strong."

The middle-aged hunter returned the small warhammer to the dwarf and replied humbly: "It's nothing. The wild boars in the mountains are much heavier than you."

Oldham didn¡¯t think there was anything wrong with this and nodded with satisfaction: ¡°But can you change the way you hold me up next time? No dwarf would want to be treated like a sack.¡±

Suddenly there was a scream in the distance. The three of them turned around and saw six insect-shaped crystal clusters more than three meters high climbing up the city.  The centaur warriors in silver armor were retreating continuously. The elven archers opened their bows and fired arrows, but the enchanted arrows only made a tinkling sound when they landed on the crystal cluster's head and were bounced aside.

"Look at me!" Oldham shouted, weighed the war hammer in his hand, rounded his arms and threw the hammer at one of the monsters.  The war hammer with silver runes engraved on its surface hit the crystal cluster's head with a bang, making a loud noise like thunder.  The monster screamed, and a crack appeared on its head.  He fell down the city wall.

Oldham moved his hand, and the war hammer that fell on the ground flew back to his hand.  The old dwarf held the war hammer firmly and couldn't help shouting with excitement: "Try the Storm Hammer, the masterpiece of my Master Oldham!"

After saying that, he followed suit.  Another hammer knocked down another crystal cluster.  At this time, the elven archers finally reacted, and Feini spread her wing cloak and jumped.  Gliding to the top of the city wall here, he loudly commanded: "Change the resonant arrows!"

The wind shooters all took a step back, put on the fourth set of enchantment plans, and fired a volley, finally knocking down the four crystal cluster beasts from the city wall.

"Haha!" The dwarf couldn't help laughing: "It seems like my old bones are not as old as I thought!"

He also ridiculed Feini: "It seems like you tree-beaters don't have that much of a brain, do you?"

But at this time, the sky darkened slightly, and the young hunter hiding aside couldn¡¯t help but remind him loudly:

    "Careful, Mr. Oldham!"

When Odum looked up, he saw a nightmare insect swooping down from the canopy.  The two giant sickle-like blades he raised swept towards him.

He could not avoid it, but a sharp arrow hit the compound eye of the nightmare insect. The latter screamed and rolled around in mid-air.  The giant blade also swept past the old dwarf dangerously. Oldham screamed in fright. Before he could finish calling out to Feini, she had already swooped over and rolled him aside.  The nightmare insect that was rolling in mid-air waved its forelimbs, and the blade wind swept past the two people's previous positions, leaving a mark nearly half a meter deep.

"Bah, bah, bah," the old dwarf got up in disgrace, spitting out sand, and said harshly: "Say it first. I won't thank you."

"Don't care about the thanks from idiots, just enjoy the trip."

    "What!?"

Feeney pressed her back against the battlement and kicked the old dwarf on the butt.  The latter screamed and immediately rolled down the stairs like a barrel filled with apples and down the city wall.

At this time, the Nightmare Insect had adjusted its posture and pounced in this direction again.  But the elf girl quickly jumped to the side, then opened her wind cloak and jumped to the tower on the other side.  She raised her long bow and was about to turn around to fight back, but at this moment, a dazzling bolt of lightning shot out from the tower, hitting the nightmare insect's head.

Feini felt her body soften and she fell into someone's gentle embrace.  She smelled an apple-like fragrance at the end of her nose. She raised her head and saw the red-haired mountain girl holding her in one hand.  Akane frowned slightly, held the halberd in one hand and faced the nightmare insect.

The latter was struck by lightning and lost his balance.  As she landed precariously on top of the city, Akane strode forward.  The Azure Spear in her hand was like a bolt of lightning piercing the monster. After a loud click, the Nightmare Insect was pinned to the top of the city by her shot.

    "Miss Akane!?"

    ?Finny screamed.

The mountain girl put her down. She looked at the latter, as if to confirm whether he was injured.

"Ah, I'm not hurt," Feeney replied with a blush, "but it's hard to say sorry for Mr. Oldham."

"Ah, damn it," the old dwarf groaned painfully as he lay among a pile of broken barrels, surrounded by piles of stinky salted fish: "Can't you send me down the stairs in a gentler way?  ?¡±

"This is already the most gentle." Feini lowered her eyelids and made a face at him.

At this time, everyone from the Gray Wolf Mercenary Group also followed out of the tower. After Qian confirmed that Feini was okay, she turned back to them and said, "Take Mr. Oldham back to the second city wall."

"Let's help, too." The young hunter hurriedly said: "Although my father and I can't participate in the battle, we can always do something within our capabilities."

Qian glanced at them. She was not familiar with the residents in Valhalla, but looked at Feini with some confusion, wondering why there were two civilians on the wall at this time.

"Ah, they are those two hunters, Miss Akane."

Qian then realized that she did not answer the boy directly, but she still nodded to him.

The group of people immediately got busy, but Feini asked with some confusion: "Are we going to abandon the first city wall now? I think we can still resist."

Qian nodded, she took out a crystal ball from her pocket and held it in her hand.  The crystal ball immediately emitted a faint light, and the light showed a projection of the outside of Valhalla. The viewing angle was taken from an aerial ship above the sky.  What is projected is the battle situation in Valhalla at this moment. It can be clearly seen that on several sections of the city walls, huge crystal cluster siege beasts have broken through the outer walls.  Countless small crystal clusters are pouring into the first section of the city wall.

This image only lasted for a moment, a moment later.  The image disappeared and was replaced by the figure of a little girl.

??Fini recognized the identity of the other party, it was Funya.

    "Funya?"

"It's me, Sister Feini." Feniya replied: "I am at Oldham Fortress now. Can I entrust you to immediately retreat everyone in the Wind Archer back to the second city wall?"

Feini was stunned for a moment, then immediately reacted: "Are we going to lead these monsters to the second corridor?"

Feniya pursed her lips and smiled: "You are so awesome, Sister Feini, that's exactly what you are."

"Okay." The elf girl's eyes were crescent-shaped and she smiled like a crescent moon. She felt a little excited in her heart: "Leave it to me, Funya."

With a loud bang, a giant crystal cluster beast finally collapsed the tower. As it entered the city with slow and heavy steps, endless purple waves poured in from the collapse of the city wall.

    "Retreat!"

"Evacuate quickly and go to the second city wall!"

"Go to both sides, leaving the road in the middle!"

The knight sergeants scattered on the city wall immediately shouted orders upon seeing this, and the druids responsible for covering also used thorns to delay the progress of the crystal cluster army.

Luolint and Little Montolo were the last to jump off the city wall. The two of them took one last look outside the city wall before leaving the defense line.  All that could be seen in that direction was a vast ocean of purple.

This is the minions of the Dusk Dragon, this is the legendary Dusk War. They never thought that the Earl had been preparing for such a war.  The two of them felt heavy and uneasy, as well as excited and passionate.

This is the hero of their Eruin people.

He is also a hero common to all mortals.

When Luo Linte thought that he was almost complicit with Dusk's minions, he couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat.  He suddenly recalled what Brando had said to him, and knew in his heart that those were all tests for him. If he had hesitated at all, he would have already suffered the same fate as the nobles outside.

Thinking of this, the young man couldn't help but clenched the sword in his hand. He wanted to use fighting to wash away the mistakes and shame he had carried.

But before the two of them had time to express their feelings about the mission, they were kicked in the head.

They looked back.  Only then did they realize that it was the lizard man that had been following the two of them.  "What are you doing!" Rollint shouted angrily, although they had already noticed the lizard man who had been following Count Tonigel.  But I didn't expect that the other party would dare to attack them.

However, Ropal was too lazy to talk nonsense with these two little guys and directly lifted them up one by one.  At this timeLint and Little Montolo felt strange that the other party just grabbed him casually, but they couldn't avoid it at all.

Luo Linte couldn't help but was stunned, and then he realized that there was no simple guy around the earl.

    "Put us down!"

¡°But it was really degrading to be carried around like this, so he couldn¡¯t help but protest.

Ropal ignored this guy at all. The soldiers on the first city wall who had not yet evacuated had been completely overwhelmed by the army of crystal clusters. The position they were in now was actually in danger.

A crystal cluster flew over. Without thinking, the Fire Claw Lizardman Lord turned around and swept it with his tail. A red light flashed on its body, and the tail blow swept the crystal cluster into pieces.

"I wantthe realm of elements!" Luo Linte couldn't help but scream.

But little Montolo knew more than him, and his eyes almost popped out: "Oh my god, this is the pinnacle of the law, who is it!"

"Ah!" Then he immediately screamed again: "Those monsters are catching up!"

Luo Linte turned his head and looked behind him, and couldn't help but take a breath of air.

At the gap in the city wall behind them, three giant crystal cluster beasts with a height of 17 or 18 meters were lined up, slowly walking towards this direction.  The warehouses and barracks buildings scattered along the way cannot stop these huge monsters at all, and they often collapse with just a light touch.  Amidst the flying dust, a sea of ??purple crystal clusters was spreading over the ruins of the building, flooding in their direction.

But at this moment, Ropar stopped.

"Are you crazy? Let's go!" Luo Linte was so frightened by this scene that he couldn't help shouting hysterically.  He was ready to fight for Eruin, but not to die among these monsters.

At least he is not mentally prepared to fight the Dragon of Twilight.

However, his words were drowned by a huge roar.

Not far away, the giant door of Orm's fortress is slowly opening
