    *********

February 8, 1667, deep rainy season

? Yellow Turban Taiping Dao Kingdom, Central Bank Province, Qingniu Mansion

    *********

According to legend, Jingzhao Mansion, the old capital of the Eastern Empire, was surrounded by eight waters.

More than a thousand years ago, when the Yellow Turbans and the Universal Righteous Way raised a flag of rebellion, it was the largest metropolis in the world.  After they captured Games, the largest city in the Mureman region, they established the capital of the Tao Kingdom here in the shape of Jingzhao Mansion.

There used to be a local religion that worshiped cows, which made the monks of the Yellow Turban Road overjoyed.  After serious research, they believed that the temple of this religion was the place where Li Er, the last prophet of the only righteous path, stayed after leaving Hanguan with his green ox.  They wrote a book called "Laozi Huahu Jing" to describe this period of history. This book became the first sacred text of the new Taiping Taoist Kingdom and named the city Qingniufu.

The only regret is that there are no eight rivers around this city, only two large rivers flowing through it.  But the Eastern Empire has been famous for its water control since ancient times. They led canals from the two rivers to irrigate the fertile fields around Qingniu Mansion, and then merged all the canals into the city to form a moat to protect the capital.

The Taiping Dao monks abandoned the original names of the two rivers and renamed the river to the east of the city "Shangshan River" and the river to the west of the city to "Ruoshui River" according to the "Shangshan Ruoshui River" in the Tao Te Ching.

Qingniu Mansion is located at the shortest straight line distance between the two rivers. The area between the two rivers is about 30 kilometers square, which is all fertile land composed of alluvial plains. Qingniu Mansion stands on this alluvial plain.  In the middle of the city, the satellite cities surrounding this giant city stretch to the edges of the Shangshan River and the Ruoshui River.

By a small town on the east bank of the Ruoshui River, Jiawen Alvarez and her "legion" set up camp.

The belongings they brought out from Jiawen Feige were sufficient, and supplies were easily available near the wealthy Qingniu Mansion.  Looking out from the camp, the wide Ruoshui River looks like a big lake, and it is difficult to see the opposite bank.

"Your Excellency Alvarez, the military attache to the ambassador to Qingniu said that the ambassador does not want to see us."

When he heard this, Tribune Jiawen was looking for a place to eat with several mid-level officers in the small town.

The season is approaching the New Year in the Eastern Calendar, and every small town around Qingniu Mansion is decorated with lights and colors, creating a festive atmosphere.  Along the Shangshan River and Ruoshui River, the trade of the entire Taiping Dao Kingdom was carried out in these small towns, and finally gathered in Qingniu Mansion.  The surrounding local Taoist people all paid attention to this stunningly beautiful elf woman in gorgeous clothes. Some children were deliberately running around not far away, talking loudly about these foreign soldiers.

Jiawen was unaware of all this, and waved impatiently to the quasi-elf adjutant who rushed back: "Don't be so depressed. The elder who was sent to Qingniu Mansion to be the ambassador is missing. The important thing is,  Have our credentials been sent in?"

"Ah, it was sent in. In the name of the embassy, ??it was sent in the form of second-class credentials"

"Have you seen it with your own eyes?" the female tribune interrupted.

"As the attach¨¦ of the military attach¨¦, I hand-delivered it."

"That's good. There is someone in the Qingniu Mansion Embassy who knows the importance." Jiawen squeezed out a smile on her stern expression, "Now that it has been handed in, our work is done. Come here and have something to eat.  Let¡¯s have lunch, this thing called ¡®guokui¡¯ or something seems to be quite delicious.¡±

"As you command, Your Excellency the Tribune."

That slight smile completely melted away the dissatisfaction of the quasi-elf messenger. He sat down on a stool nearby, grabbed a corner of the pot helmet, and started eating the sauced meat.

If someone from Honlinasti saw the sight of the former Tribune of the Flower of the High Mountains being so close to these mixed elves, they would probably turn pale with surprise.  But Jiawen Alvarez no longer cares.  For her now, being able to stabilize the remaining officers and train them is more important than anything else.

Leading such a ragtag army to Qingniu Mansion was much more difficult than she expected.  Only after losing an army as well trained as the Elven Legion does a commander realize how powerful and convenient a professional army like that can be.  She now regretted not being able to rescue the Colonial Legion from the fiasco of Jiawen Feigna - even if she could only rescue a complete centurion, the situation would be much better than the current situation.

From Fangdibao to Qingniufu, you have to pass through the five states of Yinzhou, Puzhou, Duzhou, Zhongzhou and Shengzhou.  It took the team twelve days to reach the outskirts of Qingniu Mansion. More than one-third of the people fled along the way. Most of the local Taoist people and low-blood elves fled, leaving only about 300 people in the "legion".  Not only that, the originally expected water level??The two-sided attack was completely bankrupt; after the anti-Di army joined the Hengqu rebels, the great conqueror Kotuz had to give up his plan to re-capture Jiawenfegna and use his fleet to blockade the nearby waters.  To ensure that the small boats of the Hengqu rebels could not land on the Taiping Peninsula.

All the chips left in her hand are only these three hundred people.

In order to win over the remaining people, Jiawen had no choice but to show more kindness - for a pure-blood elf, a smile was already a great kindness.

"Your Excellency, Lord Tribune, are we just going to wait like this?"

"If Lord Zhang Sushi could realize the seriousness of the current situation, he would come and invite us. Even our place is already full of rumors, so what will happen in Qingniu Mansion City?"

The officers who were eating Guokui nodded in agreement.  In these days, the rumors of Hengqu's revolt have spread throughout the Dao Kingdom along the magic network at a flying speed, and everyone has heard these rumors.  Even this Guokui boss has probably heard the news that "the real eldest lady of the old Zhang family is coming back!"

"However, that huge anti-Dibao army actually surrendered in one day? When we were defending Dibao, it looked like a decent army." After eating a few mouthfuls of sauced pork, the man who rushed back  The quasi-elf couldn't help but sigh.  When he was at Fort Di, he and Jiawen also went to meet the general of that army.

Jiawen pursed her lips and explained: "If you think that General Zhu surrendered because the vanguard was annihilated, you are underestimating him. From the beginning, he probably had the idea of ????surrendering as a last resort."

    "How do you say this?"

"That General Zhu is a person who attaches great importance to interests. The action he chooses must be How do you put it in the words of your fellow Taoists? Both offensive and defensive? Both sides? He is the kind of person who will never give up any opportunity. In fact, he is very  It¡¯s easy to estimate.¡±

"In other words, it seems that he sent out the most effective troops for a trial battle, but in fact he wanted to sacrifice these troops from the beginning and then turned around and surrendered?"

"Yes, if the vanguard wins, then of course the troops loyal to the successor division will take all the credit, and he sold out favors; if the vanguard wins miserably, he has preserved his strength; if the vanguard loses miserably, then naturally this will be the first reward given to the new boss.  What a great contribution.¡±

"The result is the third one, he also decisively voted for Hengqu That General Zhu can count the benefits to this extent, he is really a terrible person." The quasi-elf sighed.

Hearing the sighs of the soldiers, Jiawen shook his head: "You are wrong. It is precisely because such people are so precise in their calculations that they are easy to deal with. When I saw that Governor Zhu, I knew he would  How to act, and based on this, we formulated our countermeasures. The really difficult people to deal with are another kind of people¡ª¡ª"

Before she could finish speaking, she heard the sound of violent horse hooves breaking through the silence.

"Master Heir delivers the message! Retreat quietly!"

Hearing such shouts, the Taoist people around them immediately knelt on the ground, and they were the only ones who were still sitting on their seats.  Two officers who had already believed in Taiping Dao stood up anxiously and wanted to kneel down, but Jiawen waved their hands to stop them.

"It came so quickly, which is beyond my expectation." The female tribune praised softly.

The quasi-elf adjutant on the side could not sit still: "Your Excellency Alvarez, do you want to be on guard?"

    "It shouldno need to be."

The horse teams stopped in front of this small tea stall, blocking the road for a while.  People around him came out of their homes one after another and knelt down to worship Master Si Shi's team.

"By the order of the Master of the Dao of Heaven!" The man, white-faced and beardless, dressed in rich clothes, shouted in a sharp and harsh voice, "Who is the Lord Tribune of Lei Jiawen Lei of the Holy Forest?"

"It turned out to be a eunuch." A pseudo-elf officer whispered, and was kicked hard by the Daomin officer next to him.

Jiawen Alvarez stood up and replied in a somewhat arrogant tone: "I am Lei Jiawen, the tribune appointed by the elven people and the Senate. Does this gentleman have any questions?"

The eunuch raised the corner of his mouth, as if he wanted to get angry, but the attendant in Taoist robes beside him roared first.

"This is Lord Chang Shi! How can you, a Senhu Di girl, be so ignorant of superiority and inferiority¡ª¡ª"

Jiawen¡¯s expression remained unchanged, as if she said ¡°I don¡¯t understand what you, a human, are talking about.¡±

The eunuch coughed slightly, and the Taoist robe attendant immediately became quiet.  "There's no need to argue with them. Master Si's decree is important. May I ask Master Lei, was it you who sent the two warning letters using the Thousand Miles Telegraph Method?"

"Exactly." Jiawen imitated the etiquette of Taoist people and cupped her hands, "??Master Xinsi has already seen it.  "

"Very good." The eunuch nodded, "Please bring your bodyguards with me. I want to see you."

Jiawen raised her hand and motioned for everyone to stand up, "Go to the camp and bring some horses over -"

"No need." The eunuch said again, "There are nine of you. Give them nine horses. I am anxious to see them."

As soon as he gave the order, nine people from the cavalry guard behind him jumped off their horses.  After the lieutenant-general casually told them to return to their base, he mounted his horse and led the tribune and his entourage back to Qingniu Mansion.

"The messenger came right after me This is really unexpected." Jiawen got on the horse and whispered to her companions, "It seems that this Master Si is better than  That Master Zhu is much more difficult to deal with."

"I don't think so" The quasi-elf was obviously biased against the eunuch in front of him, "Using an eunuch to bully a warrior is not the behavior a king should do."

His words aroused a murmur of agreement among the officers, and the two Taoist-born officers quickly signaled everyone to be silent.  In the Holy Forest, although the pure-blood elves also have domestic slaves, the hierarchy between the noble classes of different bloodlines is clear. There will never be a situation where domestic slaves use the power of their masters to override the citizens of the Holy Forest.

"But this person does not act for immediate visible benefits, but for a larger goal. That means that his actions are much more difficult to estimate. Everyone, we must deal with this Eastern emperor with caution."

Three hours later, near dusk, in the misty drizzle, they arrived at Qingniu Mansion.

That was the first time the female elf tribune saw Qingniu Mansion.  The alluvial plain at the foot is full of farmland and water canals, not even the smallest hill, stretching all the way to the foot of Qingniu Mansion.  You can see the huge white city wall lying on the horizon, which looks even bigger in the rain and fog.  This city probably has more than ten gates. It is a giant city of the same level as Delan, Lunni, and Huajing. If it is attacked forcefully, at least 100,000 people are needed to hope to capture it.

The guards at the city gate were extremely nervous, as if they were facing a formidable enemy. The leader, Chang Shi, checked his identity before letting them go.  Jiawen noticed that the garrison at this city gate was obviously divided into five or six different groups. Several officers speaking different dialects each controlled their own men. They did not communicate with each other and only roared when they were released.

"The change of flag of the Anti-Di Army has a greater impact on them than imagined. It's not that they have no confidence in the loyalty of the troops, so they would not deploy like this." Jiawen secretly judged.

As a thousand-year-old city, Qingniufu City is a little more chaotic than expected.  The circular and arc-shaped buildings in the Mullermann style are connected without any planning to the Taoist temples and monk towers on Taiping Road, forming streets, lanes and alleys.  The only thing that could accommodate the passage of knights and carriages was the royal road leading from each city gate to the central Taiping Palace.  While Jiawen paid attention to the number of soldiers and monks on the street, she secretly calculated the astonishing number in her mind.

"Even if there are not 660,000, I'm afraid we can't stop it with 100,000, which is equivalent to at least twenty legions"

After checking their identities in front of the palace gate, the cavalry guarding the eunuch scattered towards the headquarters. Most of them also ran in different directions, leaving only the regular eunuch and two accompanying eunuchs.

The imperial guards guarding the palace gate shouted slogans and slowly opened the huge palace gate.

    ¡°On behalf of Heaven¡ªPractice the Way¡ªReveal against rebellion¡ª¡±

    "Eternity¡ªReopening¡ªPeace¡ª"

The Guardsmen of the Next Division opened the door with a drawn-out voice, while repeatedly hitting the ground with the handle of their spears and shouting slogans.  The officers behind Jiawen were all shocked by this momentum. Only Jiawen, a pure-blood elf, looked normal and could still talk and laugh with the eunuch next to her.

"May I ask Mr. Chang Shi, where will Master Si prepare to summon us?"

"The Lord is at the Golden Iron Temple."

As soon as he entered the Taiping Palace, the eunuch's voice was no longer so high-pitched and harsh, but he carefully lowered his voice.

"Gold and Iron Temple? Is it a place where magic items are cast?"

Smelling the smell of incense and spices floating throughout the Taiping Palace, Jiawen asked casually.

"It is a place where military and state affairs are discussed." The eunuch led these curious foreigners around one huge hall and Taoist temple after another. "Laojun Palace is a place for sacrifices, and Taiji Palace is the main hall where wine gatherings are held.  Place, Alchemy Temple is a place to study alchemy"

Finally, the group stopped in front of a palace that was also huge by Shengsen standards.

"The envoy from Shengsen is here. The tribune Lei Jiawen and Lei Lituo's daughter have been brought here to await the Lord's summons!"

The eunuch shouted in a long voice.  Soon, fromThe answer came from behind.

"Master Si Shi summoned Lei Jiawen!"

"Don't you need me and my guards to put down our weapons?"

"There is no need to do so in front of Master Si," the eunuch replied proudly. "There is no need to take off your weapons when entering the Taiping Palace. No one in the Taiping Palace is an enemy of the right path."

"I hope so." Jiawen Alvarez sarcastically whispered, calmed her breathing, and stepped into the hall with her head held high.

In her imagination, she thought she would see a typical Eastern emperor, sitting on a tall Heavenly Master's chair and giving condescending orders to others.

She was surprised by what she actually saw.

??In this Golden and Iron Temple, there is a huge sand table, on which a map of the seven major provinces of the Murrayman Kingdom is made up of sand and soil, with mountains, rivers and fortresses all on it.  A thin, middle-aged man with sunken eyes and a blue complexion, wearing a Taoist robe and a bright yellow ribbon Taoist crown, stood next to the sand table and was instructing several Taoist priests to place flags.

He looks very similar to the monks around him, only the crown and the sash on his robe are different.  But the astonishing aura unique to high-level spellcasters will never make anyone mistaken.  The moment she saw this man, Jiawen concluded that he must be Zhang Futu, the successor to the Qing Dynasty and the leader of the seven major provinces of the Taiping Tao Kingdom with tens of millions of Taoist people.  Regardless of his ability to rule, his unusual religious fervor was unmistakable.

    "The face of an alchemist?"

Although Zhang Futu¡¯s appearance seems a bit sickly, Jiawen will not despise him because of this.  Regardless of whether they are humans or elves, experienced alchemists and alchemists often suffer from side effects due to long-term testing of medicines. This kind of face is called "alchemist face".

She patted the shoulder of the quasi-elf translator who came with her and motioned for him to translate her speech simultaneously.

"The special envoy and tribune appointed by the people of Saint Sen and the Senate, Jiawen Alvarez has met the Master."

    "It came quickly, Ms. Lei."

Zhang Futu turned around and faced Jiawen with his deeply sunken eye sockets.  His eyes deep in the sockets were like the eyes of an eagle, emitting two sharp lights.  Jiawen had only seen that kind of look like that of a religious fanatic on the deputy archbishop of Sun God of Honlinasti.

"When I heard that Master Si had summoned us, I naturally rushed here without delay. Sorry, the camp was set up by the Ruoshui River, so it took some time to get here." Jiawen Alvarez couldn't bear the pressure and asked  Then she took a small step back, lifted up the hem of her skirt and bowed to express her apology.

"I'm not talking about this fast. The fall of the Guozhou Concession on the twelfth lunar month of the twelfth lunar month has only lasted sixteen days." Master Zhang Si waved his robe sleeves and reported several dates, "It only took you sixteen days to get from the old Guozhou Mansion.  I led my army to get here and barely stopped for a day."

"Yes, Master Si." Jiawen was secretly shocked.  All the rumors she had heard said that Mr. Zhang Futu was just a fanatical Taiping Taoist with almost no common sense and reason; but the man in front of him who was talking eloquently in front of the sand table was clearly an impressive person.  A frightened tyrant¡ªor a famous king.

This person does not pay attention to immediate interests.  In other words, Jiawen couldn't tell whether he paid attention to interests or not.  Shengsen plays a political game of interest exchange every day, but a person like Zhang Futu is definitely not a good opponent in the game.

"And you, Tribune Lei Jiawen, when you left my castle, you did not hesitate to take the risk of affecting the diplomatic relations between your two countries and sent a letter that my assistants called 'stoking discord.  'Letter, right."

    "exactly."

Zhang Futu turned to the sand table suddenly, and his bony fingers pressed hard on Guozhou's position.

"You predicted more than ten days ago that Zhu Juezhi would lead his army to surrender. Since that battle, the red flags of the Hengqu rebels have been planted all over Fuxi and Haidong provinces. Your prediction has come true.  ."

Until now, Jiawen could turn her attention to the sand table.  She was shocked to find that red flags had been planted densely in the area west of Qingniu Mansion, and there were many white flags in the middle areas that represented neutrality and questionable positions.  This is no longer just a sneak attack, this is a civil war.

¡°Civil war is civil war,¡± thought the tribune.  She took two steps forward and walked to the sand table, looking at Zhang Futu.

"This is not a prophecy, but my judgment after meeting General Zhu Juezhi. That person values ??immediate interests too much and will definitely be intimidated by the fighting power of the incoming Free Army, thinking that he can take advantage of it. In the entire Yellow Turban Taiping Dao Kingdom  Within their territory, only I and my army have ever fought against them.¡±

The master¡¯s fingers moved on the sand table, leaving deep marks, and the knucklesIt makes a crisp friction sound, which can be very painful.

"You only have five hundred people. And these five hundred people have already escaped two hundred." Zhang Futu once again pointed out an accurate number, with a sarcastic meaning in his falcon-like eyes, "Even if you know how to fight them,  Do you know how to build an army, Miss Lei?"

"Perhaps I do not know how to build a good army, but you can trust us; we, the people of St. Sen and the Senate, will never succumb to the tyranny of the Entre. I wish to assist you, venerable heir.  My lord. You no longer know which troops and which cities you can trust."

Before Zhang Futu could cast his gaze over, Jiawen Alvarez refuted his words in advance.

"If you knew which armies you could trust, you wouldn't come to me as a foreign envoy with only three hundred men, right?"

After Zhang Futu paused for a long time, he withdrew his hand from the sand table and asked, "So, what do you want when you come here?"

It¡¯s finally here, Jiawen thought.  This is the difference between an advanced spell caster and ordinary people: advanced spell casters always care first about what they can accomplish, while ordinary people always care first about what benefits they can get from it.  Zhu Juezhi would care about what he should do to get the most benefits, but Zhang Futu cares about things that aremuch higher than this.

"If we win, I want to go back to what you call Guozhou, our Jiawen Feigna."

    She replied decisively.

"If you can do what you want to do, you will be able to choose a new port on the east coast of the Taiping Peninsula. Use this reason to convince the veteran you sent to Dongsanfang, that guy should do the same  It¡¯s something other than drinking and having fun.¡±

This time, Zhang Futu also did not give Jiawen a chance to refute or bargain; this gift was so amazing that Jiawen could not figure out how to bargain for a while.

"The day after tomorrow is the Spring Festival of our lunar calendar. As soon as the festival is over, on the fifth day of the first lunar month, we will send troops south. Before that, together with your compatriots from Qingniu Mansion, form an army of at least a thousand people. The required military expenditure can be the same as ours  Contact the tutor.¡±

Zhang Futu casually pointed to an old minister dressed as a Taoist priest next to him and handed the task to him.

Then, another eunuch led them out of the Taiping Palace.

Jiawen finally breathed a sigh of relief and asked a Taoist officer beside her: "What is our fifth day of the first lunar month?"

    "February 14th."

That is the time when the army is ready to set off.

    *********

    February 9 cloudy to overcast

    Interrepublic Phase Port

    *********

"Buy! United Trading Company, two hundred and seventy-four pounds per share!"

"Two hundred and seventy-six pounds from joint trade!"

"Lianmao sold two thousand shares for two hundred and eighty pounds!"

"The military debt is eighty-two pounds, buy it!"

"Eighty-four pounds of military debt, one thousand pieces, buy it!"

Such shouting continued in the coffee shop today.

Since the establishment of Union Bank, there have been a sudden increase in cafes nearby, with the number increasing at a rate of one to two per day.  Countless agents and speculators gathered in these cafes, drinking new drinks introduced from New Zealand that were said to be refreshing, and reaching prices and closing intentions.  The nearby taverns had changed hands one after another, because no one wanted to lose all their life's chips while drunk.

Every coffee shop has its own customer base. Small retail customers gather in the free-flow shops that sell barreled coffee, while agents mostly gather in small two- and three-story coffee shops with elegant rooms.  As for the real big bookmakers, they can only be found in the coffee shops closest to the Union Bank.

    "It should be right here."

Archbishop Ionette Hartmann raised his head, confirmed the target cafe, and signaled the driver to stop the carriage.  He walked out of the taxi with his skirt in hand, covered his face with a half-open folding fan, lowered his head to check whether there were any flaws in his makeup, then avoided the noisy and bustling main entrance of the cafe and approached the back door.

"Ms. Magician, please confirm your identity."

Questioning voices came from the observation window on the back door.

Ionette nodded and replied in a female voice: "Miss Rujing invited me here. She handles funds for me."

"Understood." A female voice chuckled from inside, followed by the click of the door latch opening.  The Archbishop, who was dressing up in women's clothing, felt a burning sensation on his face, but he still restrained himself from getting angry.

?Nowadays, a person of Ionette's status would not dare to appear openly near the Union Bank.  The archbishop's shawl silver hair and tall figure were so eye-catching that he had to disguise himself as a woman and sneak in to find the trader who was working with him.

After the grand fleet set sail and captured the famous Jiawen Feigna, the speculation around the Union Bank entered a feverish stage.  After the fixed asset was injected into the shares of the United Trading Company with a face value of one hundred gold pounds, it broke through the two hundred pounds mark in one fell swoop, and it was still rising at a speed visible to the naked eye.  The Intrebon Bonds with a face value of 100 gold pounds and an annual interest rate of 3% had been sold at a 50% discount. After this wave of news, the price soared past 80 pounds and continued to rise.

This news spread to all parts of the free countries through the new magic communication network. Several association mages who wanted to gain the influence of the magic network also rushed here. While speculating on stocks and bonds, they researched and published a book called "Trading Magic".  The fixed magic is convenient for everyone to record the transaction status on the magic net.  Soon, new trading formulas and magic were constantly being developed, and magic items and material stores were opened in this area for magicians and non-magical mortals to use magic to seek trading opportunities.

Then, the Seventh Fleet entered a state of magical silence, raising the hype to a new level: all prices fluctuated within a range of dozens of percentage points depending on the true and false news, finally forcing all the big bookmakers with insider information to avoid  We arrived at the private room upstairs in the cafe.

Nowadays, the men who come in and out here all wear masks, while the women mostly wear mask blindfolds that are usually used at masquerade parties, and use silent magic and communication to command the agent army below.

"Please cover your face. There are many ordinary people and other agents of large funds on the ground floor of this tavern. Those who are doing transactions with us here, please do not attract their attention."

The waitress who led the way whispered to Archbishop Hartmann.  Ionette hurriedly covered her face with a folding fan, climbed up the stairs to the side door, and led by the waitress, passed the bodyguards of the big banker to the fourth floor and knocked on the door.

There are seven or eight senior agents sitting in this room, each of whom is a magic user. They are responsible for monitoring the entire trading area on the Magic Network.  Most large-scale transactions will first reach an intention on the magic network, and then the two parties will complete the transaction through numerous general agents.

All the agents were busy, and no one noticed the outsider who just walked in.  The waitress led Ionette past them and opened the door to the back room.

There were two female voices in the room discussing something intensely.

"I still don't understand why these magicians are so keen on studying these magics related to bond trading. These magics can't be used in combat, can they?"

"You don't understand this. The Magic Network is a very interesting structure. At first glance, it seems to just connect each other with magic threads, but in fact it is not that simple. According to the articles I have seen, if you complete  If a magic is disclosed on the Magic Web, then the Magic Web will lend more power to the magician just like a god repays its believers. That is why so many people are willing to publish their achievements on the Magic Web  ¡¡±

Hearing this, Ionette couldn't help but interjected: "This is also inaccurate. According to our research, the working principle of the magic network is very different from our magic. You cannot understand the magic network as a personification  God, you should understand it as a tool that collects the results of magicians - more like a miraculous magic or a magic flow than a god."

The two women turned their heads at the same time.  One of them is very unfamiliar to Ionette, while the other is a partner who has dealt with him many times.

"This is Mr. Ionette Hartmann, the apostolic envoy of the Northern Orthodox Church in the Archdiocese of Interre." The oriental woman among the two introduced them, "This is my colleague, also  Miss Meiyi is loyal to the Zhang family in Hengqu. Like me, she is also one of the shopkeepers of Huaicuihang."

"I'm sorry." Ionette saluted like a Taoist, secretly surprised at how thin and young the other woman opposite was.  From the conversation just now, he could tell that these two women had little attainment in supernatural powers such as magic and Taoism, which was even more surprising.

?Every ordinary person knows that Phase Harbor Huai Cui Xing has become one of the largest shops in this area.  Similarly, almost everyone who is a little bit unusual also knows that Huaicuixing is the agent supported by the Zhang family in Donggang.  Now that Miss Zhang has used all her forces, Huaicui Xing is in charge of the Zhang family's assets left in Xiangxiang.

A week ago, the Guozhou Anti-Di Army recognized Miss Zhang as the heir of the Hengqu Sect.  After that, the military states in the four provinces of Qianlonghai changed their banners one after another. Even in the west of Fuxi, there were many military governors.?A red flag has been raised.  After that, the reputation of Huaicui Bank became more and more famous, and it even vaguely surpassed Bishop Bonnie Seifer's Pure Gold Bank. Everyone recognized that they would build a new beacon for the Hengqu Zhang family - of course, there were also  Many Taoists feel that the new heir may completely transfer the property in Phase Port to a more suitable person to prevent these properties from conflicting with the free countries in the future.

"Hey, sirthis beautiful lady?! I really can't tell!"

Before Di Meiyi could finish speaking, Rujing flicked her forehead hard.

"Don't be rude to our guests! Mr. Hartman, please sit down and don't be acquainted with her. We specially invite you here today because we plan to short all the securities on hand. You should have seen this in the letter."

Hartman nodded: "Yes, that's why I came here. We have cooperated happily in the past few days, and even made a lot of money from the big black banker Bonnie Saphire."  , I also admire your Hengqu Zhang family¡¯s operational ability. But now I have not heard that there are any plans to short-sell the underground accounts of Pure Gold or United Bank, nor have I heard of any changes in the battle situation on the front line Why should they all be emptied?  Woolen cloth?"

Yin Rujing nodded: "Since I am here, I can reveal the reason for selling short."

    "Why?"

"The Seventh Fleet is about to resume magic communications. The pure gold agents hold too much, and they plan to sell it higher before selling it. The unofficial agents of the United Bank are following closely behind. But they rely on having inside information.  The move was too big, giving us the opportunity to sell short first" Yin Rujing sneered, "So, I sold the short while pulling back their intelligence threads, and what I got was the upcoming order of silence.  Last briefing before dismissal.¡±

"I still don't understand. Why does the Seventh Fleet have to sell out when it resumes magic communications?" Ionette's expression changed drastically, "Could it be that the Elf fleet broke through the defense line? Or was the Seventh Fleet completely destroyed?"

"No, it's not that exaggerated. The Seventh Fleet is still there, and only two Elf squadrons have successfully set foot on the western route. But there are some difficult-to-understand communication contents that only you, as an imperial envoy, can understand  ¡¡±

Di Meiyi on the side twisted a piece of magic sensor paper with her fingers and rubbed it with her index finger.  Her magic power is very small, but it is enough to make the contents of this piece of paper clearly visible.

"The location where they lifted the General Silence Order was at the junction of the East Entray Bay and the West Qianlong Sea. Here, the Imperial Expeditionary Fleet suddenly appeared from the northeast and launched an indiscriminate attack on the Free Navy and the Elf Navy."

"Indiscriminate attack?!" Ionette stood up in surprise, "This is impossible! This will lead to a full-scale conflict with the elves! I have never heard that the expedition fleet has received such authorization!"

"But this battle report does say that. Both the Seventh Fleet and the Shengsen Fleet suffered heavy losses, and each of the three parties left the battlefield after the melee"

"I understand." Ionette stood up, "I can understand your suspicions, but I have never received such news, and neither has Her Royal Highness Olya. If there is such a decision, this level of  The decision must have been conveyed directly by His Majesty the Emperor¡¯s emissary, and it was definitely not something we intentionally concealed from you.¡±

Yin Rujing nodded: "We will keep the profits from the operations during this period in your account at United Bank as usual. Please convey Miss Zhang's greetings to Her Royal Highness the Princess."

"I understand. Regarding the issue of the Imperial Expeditionary Fleet, I will confirm it through my channels." Ionet nodded and prepared to leave, "Please also convey my and His Highness's greetings to Zhang Qushuai. In addition, please also convey to Miss Bai Ruisi  I would like to convey my personal regards and hope to have the opportunity to meet."

    "We will convey it."

The waitress who sent Ionette in took him out the same way.  The Archbishop of the Empire frowned, thinking about this new news, and hurriedly boarded another taxi, preparing to rush back to contact the Empire.

After sending away the archbishop dressed as a woman, the waitress quietly returned to the operation room of Huaicui Hang and closed the door tightly.  She slid her finger across the crack of the door to confirm that no one was listening outside.

"Sister, you are still so cautious. Even people outside us don't know that you are the real boss of Huaicui Hang With Miss Zhang here, is it necessary to do this?"

Bai Ruisi, who had been dressing up as an ordinary waitress, shook her head and replied: "There is nothing wrong with being careful. Now almost all the strength of the Zhang family in Hengqu is invested in the Tao Kingdom, and we must be more careful to keep this fortune for her."  A hard-won position.¡±

Di Meiyi couldn't help but ask: "Sister, you have spent so much effort to invite this Archbishop to you"??, but I don¡¯t think he exchanged any information with us?  On the other hand, we leaked all the hard-earned information to him, and we don¡¯t know how much profit we will lose"

Bai Ruisi's face turned solemn: "Who said that? This Mr. Hartman told us a lot of important information. First, neither Princess Olia nor he knew about the actions of the Imperial Expedition Fleet. Second, the Imperial Expedition  The fleet did not originally intend to attack both sides at the same time. Third, if the Imperial Expeditionary Fleet carried out such an abnormal action, it must prove that there was a special envoy of the Imperial Emperor"

Di Meiyi pouted: "But this is obviously the same as saying nothing."

"This can explain a lot of things." Bai Ruisi took the magic induction paper from her hand, "If this secret report is true, it means that either the Imperial Expedition Fleet has a special envoy, or this  This fleet is not the Imperial Expeditionary Fleet."

Her eyes rested on a description in the middle of the secret battle report.

"The enemy fleet is painted with black sails, like a legendary ghost ship."

p.s.3. Regarding the Eastern Empire¡¯s names for other countries:

    Xidi

Senhu (disparaging name): Shengsen people.  The elves were named because they had fox-like long and pointed ears. Later, the character fox was changed to Hu.  Sometimes also called Haihu (due to the arrival of the Saint Sen fleet from the sea).  Half-elves are often called bastards.  If they wanted to show some slight respect, they would use the name Sidi; that is, the Di people west of Tiedi (the Holy Koman Empire).

    Hongyi

    ?????????????????????????????????

Red: Intre people, sometimes also refer to the Nancomans of the free countries.  Named because there are red-haired people who like to wear red clothes.  Intre merchants introduced modern artillery to Muleyman, Yingzhou and the Eastern Empire. The cannons they introduced were also called Hongyi cannons.

The red cannon.  Orientals occasionally name the Phates as Blue Yi, the Italians as Yellow Yi, and the Julok as Green Yi or Qing Yi.  But the last three terms are less commonly used.

Tiedi: A member of the Holy Koman Empire.  It got its name from the empire's preference for iron and gray colors.  The Eastern Empire had many exchanges with the Koman Empire in its heyday, and Emperor Tiedi still had some status in the eyes of the Eastern Empire's bureaucrats.

    ? ? Yellow thief

Taoist thief: Murrayman.  Of course, the Yellow Turban Taiping Taoist Kingdom itself does not use this title. They call themselves Taoists.
