    ***求求***求求***求求***求求***

    August 6, 1666 (mday+127)

Jena, center of the battle line

    ***求求***求求***求求***求求***

Captain Nemen Solayton stood in the center of the battlefield, looking at the steady advancement of his own army.

All the troops are attacking, attacking, and attacking again.

There were less than ten guards left around him.

In front of him was a huge number of enemy troops.

Behind him, there was no more soldiers in the camp.

In his hands is a flag of freedom full of holes.

He is not a hero.  He can stand here only because of chance.

※However, now the Free Army needs him to stand here, devote all its strength, and lead the final attack Perhaps it should be said that history needs him to stand here and direct the final attack.

    Because victory is calling him.

He once asked Claude Lopez: "What is victory?"

"Victory is not a military advantage, because countless people have defeated more with less. Victory is not a morale advantage, because countless people have fought against the odds. Even cutting off logistics is not a victory, because countless people have lost to the enemy for food."

A general who is familiar with the art of oriental warfare replied: "When victory comes, a commander will know it. There is a time when the enemy can collapse by committing troops - that is victory."

And this opportunity is right in front of him.

The premise is to get rid of that dragon!

That silver dragon with its majestic power could challenge his troops from the front!

Naimen almost broke the roots of his teeth.

Why does the other party still have such a big name at this time?

The power of the dragon alone is enough to delay his advance!  The new recruits were already beginning to panic.  If he was held back by this dragon for half an hour, he might lose this opportunity!  This extremely dangerous act of regrouping defeated troops will never be successful again!

It*s no time to save mana and equipment.  While commanding the army, the captain informed the performer Metty Crosso who was next to the magic cannon "Dragon Slayer Melody" through the communication badge.

    "Miss Crosso! Attack! Attack!"

"I have never performed encores so frequently!" the sixteen-year-old girl protested.

"I know it's hard for you, but if you can't hold it here, it's all over!" Naimen lowered his voice, "If it can be done, the design goal of that piano is to defeat two dragons at the same time! This is my lifelong mission  ask!"

    "Alright alright〞〞"

    Another improvised sonata.  Pitch shift.

The huge magic group has fallen on the security minister, and the new melody that was regenerated is not as huge and amazing as before.

Naimen raised his head and counted the concentrated musical magic in the air.

"Five, six, seven, eight faster, Metty!"

    "knew!"

Metty sped up the tempo again, her long fingers almost flying on the keyboard.

The music suddenly speeds up, rising in tone one after another, and keeps progressing.

It starts with seventy-six beats, "beautiful adagio", then goes to ninety-eight beats, "andante cantabile", and then goes to one hundred and twenty beats, "progressive medium tempo".

The colorful magic flow flows out from the metal pipe at the top of the pipe organ, converging into a brand new rainbow.

The silver dragon narrowed his eyes and looked at the rainbow-colored magic net opposite.

Human magicians need to be strengthened by magic to see the flow of magic, but dragon eyes can directly see the magic itself.

"Twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteenit's too fast, you can't hide from this wave." Mara's voice directly passed into the female dragon knight's mind, "I'll leave those to you."

The dragon saddle is quite strong, and Dinika*s combat boots are directly connected to it.  Three safety ropes tied her body to ensure her safety to the greatest extent without affecting her movements.

Denika stood up unsteadily, faced the direction of the dragon's tail, and drew her sword out of its sheath.

The sweet organ melody seemed to never stop, tearing at her nerves.  She listened with all her heart to the changes in rhythm, calculating the concentration of musical magic on the opposite side.

Danica doesn*t know much about music, but she can count the beats.

Five beats in two seconds is one hundred and fifty beats, "Allegro cadenza".

The melody then entered the climax. She could count three beats a second, and one hundred and eighty beats was a "noisy presto".?

    "Twenty-six, twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty no problem."

"Humility" in Denika's hand emitted a frightening invisible force field, swallowing up the magic she used to enhance her physical strength, making the sword appear heavier.

Metty, who was sitting in front of the organ, couldn't see this scene.

Her arms were completely tensed, and sweat was flowing freely on the keys.  Due to excessive force, blood was drawn from the fingertips.

Four notes per second, two hundred and eight beats, "Glorious Presto".

It*s hardly music anymore, it*s a summer afternoon shower.  This pace cannot be maintained forever.

So, the girl organist struck the final major chord.

Everyone and the dragon are looking forward to this moment.

Thirty-four dragon-slaying rays of light split from the rainbow, chasing the tail of the silver dragon, trying to shoot down this mighty beast!

    "Projection!"

Dinika hooked her left foot and activated the mechanism on the dragon saddle.  The upper and sole of the boot separated up and down, and centrifugal force threw her body off the dragon's back.

The safety rope tightened her body, dragging her behind the silver dragon, flying, attracting all the firepower.

Dinica coughed a few times, threw off the useless boot uppers, hooked the safety rope with her naked feet, and used this power to adjust her posture in the air.

    "bring it on!"

The girl gripped the hilt of the sword tightly.  The tip of the sword of "humility" points straight ahead.  Thirty-four magic rays transformed from music were right in front of her eyes, and the nearest one almost grazed the tip of her hair.  The anti-magic sword's attack range was not wide, so she had to induce these tracking beams herself.

"There is no self in all dharmas -"

"Cut horizontally, chop vertically, chop diagonally!"

    ※〞〞Nirvana of Silence!§

Forehand chop, backhand chop, cross chop!

The music suddenly stopped, as if someone had cut the strings of the organ.

Wherever the wind of the "Humility" sword, the most powerful anti-magic weapon, touches, all magic becomes invisible.

There is no music.  There is no rainbow.  There are no white clouds.

The afternoon sun shines brightly on the ground, and the entire battlefield seems to be immersed in absolute silence.

The organist*s hand slipped from the keyboard, trailing six blood stains of different lengths, and he collapsed on the chair.

With her trembling right hand, Metty took out a handkerchief and wiped her face.  The handkerchief made of white silk was soaked with nosebleeds and sweat.  She chuckled twice and picked up her communication badge with her almost cramped left hand.

"There's no return, Naimen. You can make up your own mind, I'm going to take a nap."

The young captain smiled bitterly and did not respond. Instead, he threw the expired communication badge directly on the ground.  He raised his head and stared at the small figure trailing behind the dragon.

    "Anti-magic weapons"

To be precise, what he was staring at was not the little figure, but the safety rope connecting that figure to the dragon saddle.

That was the battlefield he chose.

"Click" gently.  A pair of black wingspan and a pair of tough claws cut off the precious hemp rope connecting the dragon knight and the dragon.

Dinika had just breathed a sigh of relief when she suddenly felt her back loosen up. She lost her speed and balance and fell downwards in a parabola.

She turned her head subconsciously and saw only a playful blond hair and a pair of black wings that were so perfect that they were evil.  The owner of those wings was chasing Mara so hard that he almost bit her tail.

She felt that this back and figure looked very, very familiar.  Every time she saw the nearly perfect waist, hips and breasts, she could feel a complex emotion of envy and jealousy.  Just in Lenny's public bathhouse, she hugged the owner of the body and secretly cursed the injustice of fate countless times.

That*s some Sephiel, Annie or Bonnie, definitely.  The twins blessed by God are too perfect to be human.  Oh, those black wings probably indicate that they are indeed not human.

※If you put it this way〞〞§

Danica lowered her head.  Directly below her was the Freedom Flag.

The girl threw out the "humility" in her hand without hesitation, and recited the "Levitation Technique" spell at the moment when the magic power was restored, preventing her rapid fall.  Even so, when the descent stopped, she found that she was only a flagpole away from the ground.

The musketeers of the Free Army reacted, and three or four rounds of lead bullets almost passed through her body.  A magician without defensive magic protection? So fragile that a well-aimed bullet could kill her.

Dinica grabbed the top of the flagpole with her hand, turned over, stepped on the top of the freedom flag, and added a round of bulletproof magic to herself.  Only now did she dare to calm down and look at her surroundings.

What unfolded before her eyes was a burning composition.

The place she was in was roughly the center of hell.  The Jena battlefield had been plowed several times by soldiers from both sides in the past few days, and corpses lay all over the ground like crops waiting to be harvested.

The "humility" was inserted at the foot of the flagpole where she stood, with the last remains of the freedom flag on it.  Next to the sword stood a young captain, looking up at her.  He chanted his incantation softly.

    ※Transmutation!§

With the captain*s spell, the wooden flagpole turned into steel.  The wooden tip at the top of the flagpole turned into the tip of a spear, and it seemed that Denika could be impaled on it at any time.  It is naturally most suitable to use a long gun to deal with floating and bulletproof enemies-

The premise is that the opponent does not have a flexible tactical mind.  Denica did not panic, but faced the tip of the spear.

The first thorn scratched against her breastplate, leaving a white scratch.  She grabbed the flagpole with her right hand, and green lightning spurted out from her palm.

    "Shocking Grasp!"

The sharp and decisive electric shock knocked back the flag bearer below.

Not only did Naimen let go of his hand, he was also hit by the current and took five steps back.  He wanted to reach out and grab the flagpole, but his legs wouldn't obey him.

The flagpole without its flagbearer fell down.

The large flag of freedom fell down and hit the ground with a heavy metal sound.

dusty.  In the smoke and dust, there were several crisp sounds of glass breaking, and green mist was mixed with the smoke and dust.  This was probably arranged by the opponent a long time ago.

    ※Acid bomb?!§

Dinika rolled on the ground, took advantage of the smoke and dust to pick up her sword "Humility", raised the tip of the sword, and spun around like a top.  After using the anti-magic field to disperse all the acid mist, she carefully guarded the enemies on the opposite side.

That very familiar figure.  This familiar magic shock.  Somewhat annoyingly flexible fighting style.

Both he and she felt the atmosphere of intimacy.

The young men and women stared at each other, facing each other across the flagpole with pairs of revolvers in their hands.

"Do we still need to introduce each other?"

He pressed his right hand on the command sword he had just received from Marshal Fox, and asked with the last glimmer of hope.

Hearing this voice, she gave up her last extravagant hope, took back her gun angrily, and answered the question word for word.

"Not really needed. Denica Viren von Feigota, temporary commander of the Imperial Narrows Army."

Naimen also withdrew his gun: "Captain Naimen Soleton, acting commander of the Jena Army's final reserve unit 'Good Operations'."

Men of free countries and women of holy empires.

Gray-blue ordinary officer uniforms and lavender general officers' formal uniforms.

"Childhood sweethearts entangled by evil fate.

"Promoted to captain? You have done well recently, officer."

    She didn't call him "Tholeton."

"To each other, the distinguished Miss General von Feigota."

He didn*t call her ※Dinika§ either.

"You should have the last reserves of the Jena Army in your hands, right?"

What she means is: If I defeat you, the short history of the Jena Army will end here.

"How many days will it take for the emperor's nearest rescue force to arrive?"

What he means is that if I defeat you, the Emperor will not be able to hinder the Free Army's rendezvous.

Both she and he shoulder the lives of thousands of comrades.  Both she and he share the responsibility of winning or losing this war.  She and he had no way out.

As summer is coming to an end, in the middle of the bloody Jena meat grinder, the boy and the girl meet again.

The young captain first tried to break the deadlock: "I don't want to fight you."

    "I don't want to either."

"Then this is a good start." Naimen's command sword tapped the ground, "Then can I put the flag up again?"

"You can do whatever you want with the flagpole." Danica took a step forward and seemed to step on the flagpole accidentally, "But I want to take this flag away."

"What if I say 'no'?" Naimen also took a step forward.  His soldiers had already dropped acid bombs and were loading their muskets.

"Whether you go to court-martial or not is none of my business." Denika gently fiddled with the magazine of her pistol, "It's better to ask your people to withdraw. I really don't want to cause unnecessary casualties.  "

The soldiers looked at their commander in panic.

Naimen nodded and swung the command sword in his right hand back, "She is a genius, she is right. You are no match for her. I order you to retreat-"

The perfect cover.  Perfect backward accumulation.  He took a deep breath, bowed, rushed forward three steps, prepared a sneak attack with his sword, and stabbed straight into the opponent's right shoulder!

"Cang" sound.  Denika flipped her right hand, and the "humble" sword spine directly blocked his attack path.  The two swords collided, numbing his and her arms.

"You haven't changed at all." Denika sighed, "You may seem cruel, but you are always merciful. It's easy to guess."

"You're showing mercy. The anti-magic field is still open, Miss General."

"Don't make any mistake. I just forgot to turn it off."

Denica glanced into the air, and Sephiel was still fighting with her dragon.

She shook her head, whispered the name of "Humility", flicked her wrist, opened Naimen's sword, and turned off the anti-magic effect attached to the sword.

Naimen saw the magical aura surrounding her through the detection magic, and his eyes were slightly narrowed by the light.  He knew how much magic power she had on the opposite side: when Denika was serious, she was no less of a threat than a fully equipped elite company.

Dinika also noticed the light reflected in his pupils and nodded with satisfaction: "I will give you one last chance. You can surrender Solayton."

She called out the old name.  Naimen still squinted his eyes.  His sword was still very close to the opponent.  After the pressure of "humility" disappeared, magic returned to him.

He shook his head slightly and used the next magic: "animated!"

The command sword in his hand suddenly became soft and trembled like a snake, wrapping around the nearest weapon!

Danica was taken aback.  The first thought that flashed through her mind was "How disgusting", the second thought was "Solayton actually knows the second level of magic?", and the third thought was "Not good!".

She reflexively activated the ability of "humility" again: "All dharmas have no self, Nirvana is silent!"

The magic effect in front of her was wiped away by this sword again!

〞〞Almost as soon as she saw the result, Denika regretted it.

Because the opponent's snake-like sword has been wrapped around her "humility"!

"Thank you very much, Miss General!"

Naimen raised it with all his strength, and the two intertwined swords were grabbed directly into his hand with brute force!

He finally used his wisdom and reflexes to close the gap in the magic level between the two sides; once the battle was drawn to a stage decided by arm strength and shooting, he could defeat Denika.

The next step is naturally the starting sentence.

Naimen threw the sword away, caught the hilt of "Humility", and began to recite the sentence: "All Dharmas〞〞"

    He couldn*t finish reading.

Because Denika had already rushed into his arms, with a firm and heavy elbow strike to the midsection.

Just like she didn*t guess that he would use activation magic, he also didn*t guess that she would use close combat.

The fierce elbow strike was blocked by Naimen's breastplate hidden under his military uniform, and the force was beyond his expectation.  He took a step back and wanted to continue reading: "No self-"

But the other party*s movements were astonishingly fast.  Dinika took advantage of the opportunity when he lost his balance, grabbed his front shirt, skillfully twisted, pushed, and threw, all in one movement.

By the time Naimen reacted, he was already lying on the ground, his body still being pinned down by Dinika.

The smell of her perfume broke through the smell of gunpowder and floated into his consciousness.

Then, Naimen realized that it had been a long time since he had been so close to the real Dinika.

He raised his head, stared at her, and found that she was staring at him.  Naimen is familiar with the seemingly pitiful but uncompromising eyes.  Nemen was familiar with the scent of that fragrant perfume. It was not the scent she used when pretending to be an imperial princess, but the scent she used in Lenny's orphanage.

That cheap lavender scent was given to her by him.  Even though her name had changed to Dinica Viren von Fegota, she was still the Dinica he knew.

The Danica he is familiar with will never admit defeat, admit mistakes or regret

He must defeat her to get his life back, and hers.  He felt she deserved the life she deserved.  Ordinary life in Lenny.

Naimen gripped the hilt of the "Humility" sword tightly and continued the command in an almost inaudible voice: "Nirvana〞〞"

Danica saw what he was doing.

She lowered her head suddenly and blocked Naimen's order with her lips.

    A deep and deep kiss.

He and her tongues intertwined to ensure that the other could not use any more magic.  Neither of them closed their eyes, staring intently at each other's pupils.

Danica felt that she could understand what Naimen*s eyes were trying to say.  He was questioning.

At first she thought she could answer with her eyes.

But after trying hard to roll her eyes a few times, blink a few times, and tap the magician's code on the other person's tongue with her tongue several times, she had to admit, "Who told you to blindly kiss Her Highness the Princess last time? This is revenge."  " and "I gave you my first kiss to make you pass out in peace and joy" are really too complicated.

Of course, it may be that the other person*s mind is occupied by tongue kissing, so he cannot convey it.

If that*s the case, forget it if you can*t convey it.

With this thought, Denika slowly took out the pistol from the holster with her left hand, and slowly and slowly pointed the muzzle at Naimen's abdomen.

sorry.  She mentally apologized and pulled the trigger of the revolver.

    Click.  no response.

    She dunked again.

    Click.  Still no response.

She stretched out her little finger and ring finger to feel for the magazine, but she felt that her other hand was tightly squeezing the magazine of her gun, holding it firmly.

Danica*s face suddenly became hot and flushed.  She could see the other person's eyes, which were full of smiles that had seen through her thoughts.

She and he are very similar only in this unscrupulous fighting style.  They are so familiar that they can almost always guess the other party's thoughts and conspiracies.

Denika became angry with embarrassment, raised her head and broke away from the kiss, and hit Naimen's abdomen hard with her knee.

Naimen didn*t show any signs of weakness, he tightly held the revolver of the pistol, and they struggled with her on the ground, just like they were in Lenny*s St. Grace Orphanage.

The only difference is that both of them are holding the pistol that can kill each other.

    Finally, the gunfire rang out.

The bodies of both men shook at the same time, and they both let go of their grip on the gun.  The silver pistol fell to the ground with a dull sound.

    "You're not injured, are you?"

The two of them subconsciously spoke at the same time.  She and he were stunned for a moment, then realized the absurdity of the question and laughed at the same time.

"It seems like the bullet was empty, right?" Naimen asked.

Danica picked up the pistol, flipped the magazine, and checked: "It should be."

"That wasyour first kiss, right?" Naimen thought about it again and again, and finally spoke.

"Probably so." Denika did not raise the gun this time.  As if she was tired, she sighed, sat down on the flagpole, and stared blankly at the sky.

There, the shadow of Black Wing and the Silver Dragon were fighting fiercely.

Dinica clicked her tongue and said, "That's Annie, right? So awesome."

"No, that's just a demon summoned by Anne. She should still be on the northern frontline." Naimen replied.

"That's good." She replied, playing with her pistol, "That way I can rest assured."

A shrill scream came from the air.  Naimen raised his head and saw only a network of blood all over the sky.  This dark black blood formed the shape of a magic circle in the air, then turned into blood mist, and finally dispersed.

That is the blood of a demon incarnate.  Annie's summon was torn into two pieces by the silver dragon's claws.  Naimen knew that at this moment, the summoner Anne herself would be severely injured, feeling the same level of pain as the demon incarnate.

The silver dragon Mara*s body was also spattered with blood and her wings were covered with scars, but she won.

"It's the devil incarnate, Anne is really amazing. However, even the devil prince may not be the opponent of the silver dragon, let alone the devil incarnate."

Danica walked to the end of the flagpole and picked up the tattered freedom flag.  She looked at it for a moment, sighed, and lit the great flag with a flash of flame on the tip of her right index finger.

"It's all over. You don't have a mage anymore. You can't stop the dragon, and you can't stop me."

In front of the burning flag of freedom, the two fell into silence again.

"Wereally can't go back?" Naimen suddenly asked.

Denika turned her head away: "We can never go back. Even if the war is over, we can't go back."

The battle continues.  But the two armies were already locked in a stalemate, and neither could defeat the other.  Naimen knew this, but he couldn't speak.

"What are you waiting for? There is no more victory, Solayton."

    "I know."

The young captain squatted down and raised the flagpole with difficulty.  The flagpole is already made of iron and is much heavier than when it was made of wood.  He leaned the flagpole on his shoulder, drew his pistol with his other hand, and pointed it at the silver dragon in the sky.

    "That's useless." Denika reminded coldly.

    "I know."

    Naimen pulled the trigger.

A completely disproportionate whistling sound sounded.  It was not the faint gunpowder explosion of a pistol bullet, but the sound of a cannonball tearing through the air.

In the sky above the battle formations of both sides, only a middle-aged man*s voice echoed through the amplification magic:

"Communication - to the various divisions of the Jena Army."

    Pause.

"Thank you for your hard work. Leave it to me later."

    Pause.

"Communication - to the various ministries of the Emperor's government."

    Pause.

"When you have the opportunity to lay down your weapons, I will give you the treatment you deserve."

    Pause.

"This is the commander-in-chief of the Free Army's Western Army, General Claude Lopez."

Naimen didn*t know what to say.  He raised his head and looked toward the end of the northern horizon.

Smoke and dust billowed in the hilly areas, and the artillery shells of the Western General Army roared across the land.  The imperial formation was in chaos, and the left wing near the north began to flee.

    ※Victory is timing. It*s timing.§

He murmured to himself, but noticed that the girl in front of him had tears streaming down his face.  He lent his arm to Denika.

    "Welcome backDanika."

This is the end.  Claude Lopez secretly left a reserve team north of Jena to give him a real chance of victory.

So, the Emperor and their commander raised the white flag.  They had no choice.

Although someone burned the Liberty Flag, the largest siege in history was about to close.
