A strong smell of death and blasphemy swept over, making people almost unsteady.

"Witch King Dregos?" The two abandoned people spoke at the same time, with a lot of surprise in their tone.

"That's right." Dlegos, the Giant Destroyer, the third fighter of the Prime Warlock and the disciple who is best at necromancy, said in a rigid, mechanical tone that lacked emotional fluctuations.  There was the creaking of hinges and gears in motion, and the hum of many unknown machines.  "So the rumors are indeed true." He turned his head slightly, and there was a sound of metal friction. Two burning flames in the skull's eye sockets were pointed in the direction of the psychic.

"You know we summon the Angel of Entropy here?" Ellern asked in surprise.

"I don't know, and I don't care. Besides, the thing you summoned is just a larger fragment of entropy." When the Witch King spoke in the tone of a mechanical tablet, his eyes did not move from Muhadi.  Kai, almost looking on guard.  With the blessing of divine power, its power is overwhelming.  "The rumor from my mouth refers to the second coming of the prophet."

The Witch King bowed slightly to Mohadi at an almost invisible angle, but the alertness on its body did not diminish.  "My master."

Mohadi didn¡¯t correct the other person¡¯s words, he just asked.  "You said you were not attracted by the summoning ritual here." The psychic warlock was on guard. Every encounter with the Witch King was a matter of life and death, and he did not dare to be careless at all.  "But how could you happen to be here by such a coincidence?"

The bones in the upper body of Witch King Dlegos moved, and the hinges and gears all over his body also creaked.  The psion was a little confused at first, then realized it was a shrug.  "I heard that there are brain-hunting monsters on the routes in this area, so I came to check it out. I have always wanted to dissect some brain-hunting monsters Of course it is for research purposes."

"I saw that you have made some progress in your past research." Muhadi raised his head and said to the Witch King.  The two abandoned people, as their names suggest, were completely ignored. They carefully observed the development of the situation.

"Thanks to the Great Expedition, I obtained many false god specimens for dissection." The Witch King did not deliberately hide it.  "I have been at the forefront of the jihad for more than ten years, fighting against the most powerful enemies. You can say that I have greatly enriched my research material library during this period, and it is not surprising that some progress has been made."

"No one worships me, and I don't care. I don't feed on faith." The Witch King continued, "I don't consider myself a god either. Eternal life and greatly enhanced strength are enough to satisfy me Now it's my turn  My curiosity is satisfied.¡±

"Why did you choose to come back at this time? After disappearing for so long." Dlegos asked condescendingly, floating in the air, with no expression on his fleshless head.  "What woke you?"

"Biological clock." The psychic replied simply.  "As for your other question, I'm back at this time to deal with some financial disputes."

"That is to say, you are here to settle accounts." Witch King Dlegos slowly descended from mid-air and suspended above the blood pool.  "Forgive me for being curious, but would you mind telling me the person you want to settle the score with?"

"Someone who bombed my ship more than ten years ago, and a guy who calls himself Danjar." It was difficult for Muhadi to observe emotional changes from an undead creature, a divine being, but he did not  Give up trying.  "You don't happen to know the whereabouts of the above two."

The Witch King is also testing the Psion, but the latter's level of control over himself is no longer what it used to be.  Every casual movement, every movement of facial muscles will not reveal the true thoughts of Mohadi.  The fluctuations of his thoughts are also strictly protected, so that no clues are revealed.

What makes Delegos even more confused is that this man looks more like the Prime Warlock than before If he had doubted whether Rajat's remnant soul really existed in this man's body before, now he has  I don't doubt this possibility anymore.

"Wouldn't it be more appropriate for this question to be answered by someone with the title of prophet, my master." Witch King Dlegos avoided the question.

"And such an answer should not come from a person who claims to be a disciple." The psychic warlock noticed that the other party did not seem to be ready to take action rashly, so he simply acted tougher.

"I apologize, Master." After a moment of silence, Witch King Dlegos did not seem to be angered, but bowed slightly.  "Please just pretend that I didn't say that just now."

¡°You just treat it like I said it,¡± Muhadi said.  "Now tell me, do you know anything about the two people I mentioned just now?"

¡°The preacher who calls himself Danjar has been active among civilians and lower-level people.I have no connection with this person.  "The dual characteristics of the undead and the divine being make it impossible for the psion to judge whether it is lying. "He may be hiding in any of the conquered new worlds, and he has many supporters in those places.  I'm not good at prophecy spells, so I can't tell you which one.  "

"As for the other person" Witch King Dlegos paused, and the mechanical device on his body was silent for a moment.  "Why don't you just ask Malik? As a witness, he knows better than me."

¡°I will ask him in person when I meet him,¡± Muhadi replied.  "But before that, didn't you hear anything from Malik?"

"Malik will not provide me with any valuable information for free. Regardless of whether you are the Witch King or an ordinary person, he will not help at all without paying. He is very busy now."  Snapped his metal fingers, "To quote Malick himself, there are only so many worlds to conquer in the multiverse, and only so many monsters to studybut there will never be a shortage of assholes in the world who need to be fixed.  And adventurers willing to pay a fortune for it, and I, Malik, am always happy to oblige.¡±

"Nonsense, most adventurers are bastards who need to be fixed." The psychic said.  "Poor people who really need help can't afford to hire him."

"With all due respect, noble master. The poor cannot afford to hire you." Dlegos's skull shook, and the hinges made a harsh sound as he said.  "No one can afford to hire poor people, that's why they are called poor."

"Your statement is so logical and fascinating." The psychic commented.

"The truth always has such a strange magic power, and I like to tell the truth the most." Witch King Dregos replied.  "Now, after hearing my answer, what are you going to do?"

"This is not what you should care about." Mohadi looked at Delegos and replied.  "Since you have solved this large fragment of entropy for us, I will leave immediately."

Dlegos fell into silence. The reason he decided a long time ago that his specialized school was the school of necromancy was because of the fear of death itself.  He didn't dare to take action until he couldn't figure out the details of Rajat, at least he didn't want to do it alone.  What's more, except for being bewitched by Polis and becoming an enemy of the Taichu Warlock at the end of the War of Purification a long time ago, the other party seemed to have no reason to kill him.

"May the Great Lord protect you in the Haji." Finally, the Witch King decided to give in.  He judged that Rajat would not take the initiative to attack a follower of the First Cause. This was inconsistent with "This planet is not to my taste. Forgive me for not accompanying you on your pilgrimage."

"May the Great Master protect you," said the psychic.

A black aura of twilight enveloped Witch King Delegos like a curtain. In the dilapidated hall, the pressure brought by divinity was fading. It seemed that the former disciple and third fighter of the Taichu Warlock was about to leave.

"Ah, I almost forgot to remind you." Before disappearing, Delegos seemed to suddenly remember something and said.  There was no expression on the skull, but the psion felt that if Dlegos still had flesh and blood, he would be sneering mockingly at this moment.  "If you want to go to Atas, I sincerely suggest you go as soon as possible. Because I heard that your son is in big trouble."

After saying that, the figure of the Witch King completely disappeared from the ruined hall, and the pressure that was once difficult to look at also disappeared.

Ellen and Carly Jean walked over, looking a little frightened, but they concealed it so well that it was almost impossible to tell.  "The Witch King really left like this? This is simply unbelievable!"

"Does Dlegos really believe that you are the Prime Warlock himself? Why do I think this is not surprising at all?" Carly Jean said.  "And he mentioned your son? What do you think that might mean?"

Muhadi shook his head. The Witch King's words seemed to be intended to interfere with his judgment.  Although he does care, he would rather not think about it now.  "I don't have time to answer this question. I have to deal with the fragments of entropy first."

¡°They still look just as disgusting, but they¡¯re dead,¡± Ellern said, frowning.  "Even if what the Witch King said is true, and that big guy is just a larger fragment of entropy, we don't need to worry about it right now."

Mohadi was too lazy to explain any more and began to concentrate.

The Shards of Entropy may be temporarily repulsed, but the damage they cause is real.

His body and soul are all very different from before the time travel. If even the memory becomes incomplete, he really can't be sure that he is himself.

The attack of the fragments of entropy caused large gaps in his memory, and now he has to?There is a way to repair these parts.

There once was a great psion named Tepared in Athas, who once conducted very in-depth research on amnesia and the symptoms of memory loss.  Tepared once encountered a patient with natural amnesia. Although this patient met with the Great Psion every day, he could not remember meeting him before every time.  On one occasion, the Great Psion pretended to shake the patient's hand, but he hid a bone spur in his hand.

The patient was stabbed in great pain, but when they met again the next day, the patient still could not recognize the great psychic.  But this time when Tepared tried to shake hands with the other person, the patient instinctively flinched.

This incident intrigued Tepared, and it made him realize that human memory may actually be divided into several different parts.  Even if one part of a person's memory is damaged, there may still be memories associated with it in other parts.

Further research allowed the Great Psychic to divide memory into two categories, namely explicit memory - that is, conscious memory, and internal explicit memory - that is, the content of unconscious memories.  Explicit memory can be divided into two types: episodic memory - the memory of what was done at a certain time in the past, and semantic memory - the understanding and mastery of knowledge and skills.

The attack of the fragment of entropy can make Carly Jean forget the spells she has learned and her past experiences. People who know her can infer that its attack has at least destroyed her explicit memory.  Mohadi thought, but if his explicit memory still exists, then he might be able to use the priming effect to partially repair the missing parts of himself.
