Lunch is very simple, white rice and fried vegetables.

Wang Bi'an was originally a lover of all things meat, but he was very good that day and ate all the rice with vegetables.

Chen Wei was heartbroken for her son. She wanted to unpack pickles and eat them, but Wang Lu stopped her. Wang Lu said that the few packages of pickles, pickles, pickled tofu and other pickles left at home are the last emergency foods. These are probably the ones with the longest shelf life.  It¡¯s something, and it doesn¡¯t require cooking, water, electricity, or gas to eat.

Chen Wei was washing dishes when she suddenly heard a loud bang in the distance outside. She looked up and saw a thick smoke rising high in the distance through the roof of the building in front of her.

Wang Lu walked up behind her, protected her shoulders, and said calmly: "There was a gas explosion somewhere."

Wang Lu sighed: "Don't be afraid, it will happen sooner or later. In such a large community, there will always be people cooking food and water when the virus breaks out. After people turn into zombies, the fire is still burning, and the water in the pot is still burning.  It burns out, then the pot burns out, and if it¡¯s a pressure cooker, it might explode, and then there¡¯s a fire in the kitchen and the gas pipe explodes.¡±

Wang Lu paused for a moment: "In addition to the gas in the community, the boilers in the hotels and the stoves in the restaurants are also prone to explosion."

Just as he was talking, another violent explosion sounded. Chen Wei turned pale, turned around and held Wang Lu's hand: "Honey, will the gas pipe in our community explode? What if someone's house downstairs explodes?"  , then our house - think about it, this gas pipe is like a line of dynamite, leading from downstairs to upstairs, and when it explodes, it will turn into a building!"

Wang Lu smiled bitterly and pointed at the plumes of smoke rising out of the window: "So I hope that there will be more explosions like this, the better. If the pipelines in our surrounding communities explode, it will cause damage to the pipeline network and inadvertently  This also empties the gas in the pipe, so the possibility of a gas explosion in our community is much smaller. The problem is-" Wang Lu sighed heavily: "In this way, our gas will be gone.  Cooking food has become a big problem."

Chen Wei was stunned, and even she realized that she was angry or not - this was a question with no answer.

Seeing that Chen Wei was stunned, Wang Lu quickly changed the subject: "Have the phone calls been opened at our parents' place?"

Chen Wei rubbed her eyes and said in a low voice: "I called both your parents and my parents. At first, it kept reminding me that the phone was busy, and then, there was a long beeping sound."

In fact, Wang Lu knew that after arranging food and water, he called his parents. His parents were traveling in Singapore and bought a new number there. Now the overseas phone number cannot be dialed at all.  There is a string of English prompts inside, and my parents-in-law are in Wulong Town, which is an hour's drive away, but I can't contact them either by plane or mobile phone.

Wang Lu didn't know when the biochemical virus was infected in the city. Judging from the time when Wan Hanyue's nanny was infected in the community, the external infection was only earlier. It was very likely that there were walking corpses the night before.  It has appeared. Now that transportation is developed and there are buses between towns, the disease will not occur much later in rural areas than in urban areas.  Wulong Town, where my parents-in-law lives, must be full of zombies now.

As for his parents in Singapore, Wang Lu has a feeling that this biochemical crisis should be global, not just in the mainland.

Wang Lu understood that even if the phone was connected, everyone was helpless. In these troubled times, the only way to protect themselves was to protect themselves.

Wang Lu said to Chen Wei in a low voice: "We must protect Wang Bi'an!"

Chen Wei sobbed and nodded heavily.

Just as he was talking, Wang Bi'an ran over with a telescope in one hand and paper in the other, shouting: "Mom, Dad, I found another walking corpse."

Wang Lu took the paper from Wang Bi'an and glanced at it. It read:

The nanny is a walking corpse, indoors, walking at the same speed as a human, and will open the door.

The zombie of the security guard has been walking back and forth in the community, just like patrolling, holding a flashlight in his hand.

There is a walking corpse in Room 401, No. 76, knocking on the glass window. Note: After knocking for a long time, it was not broken.

A new line of writing was added at the bottom: There may be walking corpses in the carport of Building 71. The iron sliding door sometimes bangs and bangs. It should be walking corpses knocking on the door inside.

Wang Lu pointed to the last line: "Son, is this the latest walking corpse you found?"

Wang Bi'an nodded vigorously: "Dad, the uncle who lives in the garage and picks up garbage. I think he must have turned into a zombie. Otherwise, he would have opened the door long ago. He is very strong. The three-person sofa  He can carry it to the fifth floor by himself."

Wang Lu?He patted Wang Bi'an on the head: "Good job, keep observing, don't forget to add the biting zombies and the bitten people in the building opposite that dad saw - those bitten people will also turn into zombies, try to keep us  Figure out the distribution of the walking corpses in the community."

Wang Bi'an puffed up his chest, responded crisply, ran back to the bedroom with the telescope, lay down at the window, and started looking.

Chen Wei quietly took Wang Lu's hand: "Husband, I always feel sick letting my son see these walking corpses. The walking corpse nanny of Wan Hanyue's family still carries the leftover corpse of the child in his hand.  Take a bite from time to time" She covered her chest and couldn't speak any more.

Wang Lu patted Chen Wei's hand: "The world has changed. What children need to learn now is not English, Mathematical Olympiads, or composition, but how to survive in this perverted world. If he doesn't even dare to watch the walking dead  , let alone fighting them. The sooner Wang Bi'an gets used to those disgusting zombies, the better it will be for him."

Wang Lu stared into Chen Wei's eyes: "This home is just a temporary place for us. Maybe, before long, we will have to go out and walk into the world that has become hell outside."
