The early summer showers came and went in a hurry, washing the sky into a clear blue, but the rising sun was like a shy lady, hiding in the layers of clouds, refusing to show her head easily.

It was just after early morning, and the breeze was still cool, but it was a rare cool weather in summer.  The guards of Princess Daisy's capital were busy taking advantage of this refreshing feeling.

Some of them stood by the bulletin board, explaining to the stopped pedestrians and merchants, ordering them to take a detour to enter through other city gates; some of them were cleaning the loose soil on the road, and then sprinkled some clean water on it.  The occasional remaining die-hards will not be disturbed by the naughty breeze; there are also some people who are also cleaning and organizing other things near the city gate.

Among these guards, some were dressed like captains, and they were walking back and forth among them, constantly checking something.

One of them suddenly stopped in front of the guard who decorated the wooden door. He glanced at him and frowned: "Didn't I tell you earlier that I would dress neatly? Why is your hair still messy?"  !¡±

The guard felt a little guilty and explained in a low voice: "I, my hair is a little curly to begin with."

But it was useless. The captain didn't pay attention to it at all. He just asked the guard to turn around and helped him rake with his hands. After trying for a while but still to no avail, he spit some spit into the palm of his hand, and then  Wipe it on the opponent's head.  Finally, he nodded with satisfaction, "Isn't this much better!"

After dealing with this guard, the captains and deputy captains sent several more guards home quickly, asking them to change their clothes into more decent ones.  Then he reminded the others loudly: "Remember, the Holy Son will pass through the gate we are guarding today. This is your great honor, so cheer up!"

The guards immediately responded loudly, but they were sincere.

Because after the captain finished his lecture, they quickly started talking in small groups in twos and threes.

"It is said that the Holy Son is very beautiful"

"My father happens to be ill, and I don't know if the Holy Son can bless me"

Without commenting on the content of these conversations, they were busy for a while, probably nearly an hour.  There are new groups of people coming out of the royal capital.  They were the king's guard of honor, some of the guardsmen guarding the palace, the third prince who did not come because of his own status, the special envoys sent over, his favorite ministers, and some state ministers whose status was not high in comparison.

They stood separately on both sides of the road, with flags on their erect spears fluttering in the wind, and their bright armor shining dazzlingly in the sun.

They stood motionless for a long time. At the far end of the road, dust suddenly started flying.

Then, hundreds of lightly dressed knights and dozens of carriages appeared in everyone's sight.

Naturally, Katniss and the paladins who came to "coronate" the third prince came to protect her.  They galloped toward the city gate, their speed getting slower and slower, and finally stopped in front of the city gate.

The envoy, whose legs were a little sore while waiting, was startled by the battle, and quickly remembered that when the Pope replied to the letter, he clearly stated that more people would be sent to protect the safety of the Saint, so he ignored it and immediately went forward to greet her.  But he was stopped by the leading paladin, who hurriedly shouted out his identity and purpose.

Katniss then opened the small curtain on the carriage window, glanced at him, and nodded slightly to Henry, who took over the command of these paladins.  Upon seeing this, Henry stepped forward, had a brief conversation with the envoy, and said, "The saint is tired from this trip and wants to rest early."

The special envoy responded knowingly, "Of course, of course."

At the moment, a lot of complicated rituals were omitted. They just made a brief count of the paladins, priests and other entourage (actually wizards), then stepped forward to lead the way, ushered the carriages and horses into the city, and then took them to the place where they would rest today.

The Son of God came to crown him. Of course, the third prince would not keep such a glorious matter a secret. Katniss's itinerary was something that almost all citizens of the Daisy Kingdom knew.

Therefore, as soon as they entered the city, the team's progress slowed down. Even if the king's guard of honor and the imperial guards opened the way, the citizens of the city filled both sides of the road. They cheered, praised the glory of God, and praised the Holy Spirit.  Son's behavior.  And those bold ladies threw the flowers and embroidered handkerchiefs in their hands to the holy warriors who were sitting on their horses.

Even though the purpose of Katniss's trip was not here, she had to show her face from the carriage and respond to the cheers of everyone with a smile.

Anyway, it was quite a hard journey, and I finally got to my residence.

It was a villa. The third prince read the incisive reply that came first and began to clean it. There was also Daisy Princess. The pastor of the Anglican Church came to make more detailed arrangements.  Katniss and others entered the gate with the priest waiting at the door, and the guards leading the way began to disperse the citizens surrounding the palace.

The special envoy took the opportunity to come to Katniss and whispered: "The crown prince wants to invite you to a dinner party, and I hope you can be honored." Katniss thought for a moment, then nodded in agreement.

Afterwards, most of the guards of the principality dispersed with the special envoy, leaving only a small group of people to symbolically guard the safety of the outside of the palace.  As for the inside, it was naturally handed over to the paladins who came with Katniss.

Henry set up a schedule for them to take turns and watch, and then asked the paladins who were not currently assigned to do errands to go around the capital in twos and threes to get familiar with the terrain.  He also called the special envoy and left the attendants who were specially assigned to listen to the instructions, and said: "We are going to check the place where the ceremony will be held the day after tomorrow."

The attendant smiled and replied: "We are on guard there day and night, nothing will happen."

But Henry insisted, "Not only is the safety of your crown prince at stake there, but we also have to consider the safety of the saint - if there is an emergency, how can your principality be able to bear it!"

The attendant hesitated again and again, but still followed Henry's advice.

So Henry and the others used the reason of detection to see the place where the ceremony was held and most of the palace from top to bottom. They also took note of all the places where they could ambush and facilitate resistance.  According to the original plan and combined with their survey, more detailed arrangements were made. The nearly 400 paladins, 80 priests, bishops, and less than 30 wizards including Lilim who accompanied them all  There are tasks that must be done at the ceremony the day after tomorrow.

Now, all the preparations have been completed. When Katniss came back from the unpleasant dinner, they began to wait quietly for the day after tomorrow.
