The coup that took place in the Daisy Principality was extremely successful at the beginning.

The knights and attendants of the second prince all returned victoriously from the east. They were brave and good at fighting, and they cooperated with each other perfectly.  So it didn't take long for him to almost control the general trend of the royal capital.

The cavalry messengers kept relaying the good news, and the second prince who was heading towards the palace was very excited. Looking at the destination not far away, he raised his whip and ordered: "Now, move forward!"

But at this moment, something unexpected happened.  Perhaps he was frightened by the bursts of horse hooves, but a black cat suddenly jumped out. It passed in front of the team, but it startled the horse under the second prince's crotch.

The horse neighed and stood up, knocking the unprepared second prince to the ground.

The sound of falling to the ground was heard, and the team suddenly became a mess. Several of the second prince's attendants hurriedly dismounted and tried to help the second prince up.  But they immediately discovered that the usually agile second prince was seriously injured and was coughing and vomiting blood.

"Your Highness!" they shouted, and ordered the people around them, "Quickly, call for the doctor!" After thinking about it, they said, "No, I remember the church is nearby, please call for the priest!"

But the second prince, who was the center of attention, seemed not to hear this. He just sat there blankly and did not respond even though everyone was shouting.  It wasn't until a certain attendant was frightened and shook him violently at an inappropriate time that he suddenly woke up, "Is this?" He looked down at the blood on his chest and smiled bitterly, "I turned out to be like this?" Then he remembered what he was doing before.  , raised his head and looked around, "Where are we going now!"

Everyone was silent, not daring to answer.  The second prince understood immediately. He struggled to stand up and said, "I'm fine. Now keep going!" As he said this, he staggered again.

The attendants around him quickly supported him, and then plucked up the courage to persuade him: "Your Highness, you have become like this, why not take a good rest, and wait for the priest who has been invited to take a look at it for you, and then we can move forward."

"Nonsense!" the second prince immediately scolded, "How can we wait for such a thing!"

He ordered again and again before letting the team move forward. He grabbed the attendant beside him and whispered: "Go and pick up my elder brother here!"

The attendant glanced at him, vaguely guessed something, and wanted to speak to persuade, but was forced back by the second prince's eyes.  He could only shake his head, turn the horse's head and gallop away.

As they moved forward, the second prince only felt a burning pain in his chest, and coughed from time to time, which would bring blood.  He gradually gained a clear understanding of his body.

It hurts so much, I need treatment right away, otherwise, I¡¯m afraid it will

But he held on and refused to give up.  At this point in this coup, there is no room for turning back. As long as it does not succeed, there is only one outcome waiting for it.

So after arriving at the palace, even when he saw the guards in front of the door, the second prince did not waver at all. He just waved his right hand and ordered: "Knight, charge!"

The gate of the palace is not very spacious. Taking into account the possible accidents, the limit of dozens of knights passing by side by side is the limit. Asking the knights to charge is certainly not a good choice.

However, the second prince saw that there were not many guards and the formation was not thick, and he was currently doing things against time, so he still gave the order.

He dropped his hand heavily, and a dozen knights in front of the team picked up their spears. They stabbed the horses' bellies with the spurs on their boots, making them run faster and faster, and then shouted slogans of unknown meaning in low voices, brave and without hesitation.  He rushed towards the guards holding shields and short spears.

The spear pierced the leather armor, causing its owner to jump high into the air. Unable to withstand the weight of the human body, it broke off. The knight let go of the broken spear and pulled out the long sword at his waist. They ignored the people around them.  The short spear thrust at the horse below only slashed the sharp blade towards the guard's exposed cheek and neck.

After they pushed the palace guard's formation back a few meters, they fell helplessly into the dust together with their horses.  But before the guards who resisted the pressure had time to breathe, the second group of knights passed over the corpses of their colleagues and slammed into them!

At this time, in front of the palace gate, dust was flying, blood and mourning were mixed together.

The fierce battle did not last long. How could the palace guards be the match for the battle-experienced knights?  Their formation had been broken down, their morale had been destroyed, they dropped the weapons that were in their way and fled around in panic.

The second prince was very satisfied with the result. He held back the pain and praised with a smile, "Very good!" He then solemnly told the attendants around him: "Remember the names of these warriors, they are my greatest heroes!  "

Seeing the attendant nodding, he grabbed the horse's belly and walked forward.

He came to the gate and paused for a moment, wanting to lower his head and look at the faces of the knights on the ground.  Before I had time to do so, I heard an inarticulate whisper, "Now!"

The gate of the castle behind the gate suddenly opened, and the windows on the second and third floors were also wide open. Countless guards stood in front of it, holding crossbows and looking coldly at the two men who were in front of the door. There were not many knights around them who could defend them.  prince.

Someone at the gate gave the order again, "Shoot!"

For a moment, the arrows were like locusts.

The attendants around the second prince rushed towards him desperately, using their shields and bodies to help him block the arrows.  But even so, there will still be fish that slip through the net.

An arrow scraped the edge of the shield of the attendant in front, and accidentally changed its direction. It would have flown away, but now it flew towards the chest of the second prince.

The second prince wanted to dodge, but with his strength he could block it with the long sword in his hand, but his abdomen felt untimely pain. Cold sweat broke out on his forehead, but his body could not move at all.  He could only watch helplessly as the arrow passed through the gap in the armor and entered his body.

The second prince fell off his horse again, and his injuries were more serious than last time!

His life and death were unknown for a while, and the knights became leaderless.  Some of them were angry and drove their horses to rush into the castle to avenge His Highness, but they were turned into a honeycomb by the rain of arrows.  More loyal knights retreated to the place where the second prince fell from his horse. They must protect their highness and exit this dangerous area!

The second prince was finally snatched back, but his life was about to come to an end.  When the eldest prince arrived with the attendants who had left earlier, he was leaning against the wall, panting with more air coming out and less air coming in.

    "Is it okay?"

Hearing his eldest brother's earnest inquiry, he suddenly laughed and said apologetically: "I'm sorryit seems our plan failed"

The eldest prince shook his head quickly and grabbed his hand, "No, we still have the advantage now. As long as we can capture the gate, we still have a chance to win!" He then comforted: "Even if we fail this time, we still have the advantage.  There¡¯s still next time!¡±

"No, we have no chance" the second prince sighed, suddenly realizing something in his heart, "And my knights will not break through that city gate because this is the will of my god"

Before he could order the knights to retreat and prepare an escape route for them, his voice gradually disappeared and his head bowed heavily and forever.

¡°Well, this is the sad part of not having any manuscripts saved

The chapter names are a bit embarrassing.

It seems that the next chapter has no choice but to do that!
