    "Finally" finished writing.

    I originally thought that this novel would take at most two years to write, but I never expected that it would last for such a long period of time - from the beginning of 2010 to the end of 2014.

    During the creation of "Tang Qi", about two years were the most difficult period in my life - which was roughly the period when this novel was discontinued.

    Not long ago, I met a writer friend whom I had not seen for several years. She stared at me for a long time, not daring to recognize me. After talking, she said to me: "Apu, do you know? I really didn't recognize you just now.  When you said you were A Bo, my heart suddenly hurt - is this really the high-spirited A Bo I know? What have you experienced in the past two years? "

    This is not the first time I have heard something like this.  At that time, I just smiled reluctantly and didn't respond, because even though we were old friends, we didn't want to talk more.  Young people don't know the feeling of sorrow, so they forcefully talk about it in order to compose new words. But when they know it, they don't want to talk about it anymore.

    The face is the best recorder of life. Many spiritual experiences will probably be naturally engraved on the face, just like Zhang Mai's knife is engraved on the city wall, which cannot be erased until the day it collapses.

    However, no matter how deep the mark is, unless you want to hold on to the ruins until your death, you have to put it behind you and move towards tomorrow.  So in May 2014, I decided to get back on my feet and started updating again.

    I am not a popular writer, but before "Tang Qi", my character was quite good. The discontinuation of "Tang Qi" may have lost my character among online readers.  The old popularity has also dissipated, and the bleakness of various data after the update is unbearable. However, I am not disappointed in my heart, but moved - I actually didn't expect that there would still be such a thing after two years of hiatus.  A group of loyal readers continue to support me!  This made me suddenly feel that there was nothing to be afraid of in the future.

    Therefore, although the coding in the past six months has been more difficult than two years ago, I was able to grit my teeth and persevere, and ended up according to the original plan. This must be said to be all thanks to everyone's support.

    Looking back on the entire "Tang Qi", this is really not a book that conforms to the trend, nor is it a "satisfactory" work. It has many shortcomings!  Some places are messy, and some places are almost on the verge of collapse. Structurally speaking, it is far more scattered than my first novel "The Prisoner of Tonggong" (also known as "The Code of Mountains and Seas"). Some of these shortcomings are true.  It was caused by my writing time being too long and my mental state not being stable for some periods of time. Some of it was caused by my inability to withstand the pressure of various updates from the Qidian platform. Some of it was caused by problems with the setting of this novel itself.  .

    However, "Tang Qi" helped me break through many of my old limitations and barriers. This novel was the first novel that I wrote with all my heart, regardless of everything, even the outline, and even "rationality".  Book.  "Tang Qi" has many shortcomings from the perspective of the novel, but its spirit runs through the whole story. This is the only comfort I have!

    In the coming days, I don¡¯t know if I will continue to serialize online, because I seem to be unable to adapt to this kind of high-intensity online writing.  But my pen will not stop, it has become a part of my life.  Although the main body of "Tang Qi" has ended, if you have any comments in the various comment areas, for example, if you feel that this book has unfinished meaning, I think it makes sense, and I may write some extras if I feel like it.  .  For example, West Asia Chapter, India Chapter, Volga River Chapter, New World Chapter, Japan Chapter, Jiangnan Chapter, Africa Chapter, etc.

    One last thing to mention, editor Kang Zhigang from Meng Changjiang Literature and Art Publishing House has noticed that the book "Tang Qi" has actually been published. There are two books in total, one is called "The Lost Ghost of Tang Qi Silk Road" and the other is  It was originally called "The Lost Tang Cavalry in Central Asia", but it was cut in half due to poor sales. I feel really sorry for Brother Kang when I think about it.  If you want to wait until the book is finished, it is probably impossible. The two "Tang Qi" will probably become out of print and will be gone after the first printing is sold out.
