In the process of overthrowing a regime, especially in the process of major changes like Taiwan's, which require a complete change of social structure, killing is unavoidable.  The only difference is whether it is beneficial to this nation and this country.

The three southeastern provinces are different from other parts of Nanyang. Taiwan can use force to force the local indigenous people to submit.

It is also different from the land of Liaodong. Although there are many Han people there, the ruling class there is the Jurchen aristocracy. Taiwan can also completely destroy them without encountering opposition from the Han people.

¡°The people here are all Chinese people, and it is impossible for Taiwan to solve everything simply by force.

Therefore, after occupying most of the three provinces, Taiwan faces a very heavy digestion task.  Many administrators trained in Taiwan have entered the three provinces to take over local government affairs and implement Taiwan's relatively mature administrative system.

During this process, nearly 30,000 gentry were arrested and killed because they opposed the new administrative system.  Most of these people are wealthy families with huge amounts of land at home.

¡°It is simply impossible for these people to watch their property being redeemed at a low price, so they continue to entangle hundreds or even thousands of people against the newly arrived military government officials.

And the local people were deceived by the gentry and joined the ranks of rebellion because they did not understand Taiwan's policies.

For a time, the southeastern land was bleeding everywhere, and more people died than in the battles that took place when the Taiwanese army entered the three provinces.

But this is only temporary. In the face of actual actions, it is impossible for those gentry to confuse the ordinary people forever.

Every time military government officials arrived, they would break down the resistance of those wealthy families who controlled huge amounts of land, then confiscate their land and distribute it to ordinary people who did not participate in the resistance based on the standard of five acres for no one.

And through public trials, the past crimes of those high-ranking families were exposed, and the people's hearts were gathered bit by bit.  In just half a month, the resistance in the three provinces has completely disappeared, although many people died during this period and many families were broken up.

To attack one group, it is natural to win over another group.  Tang Hongsheng and others urgently summoned the business class in Taiwan and sent a message to the business class in the three southeastern provinces through them, that is, as long as they can give up the land in their hands and accept Taiwan's redemption or replacement, then they can enjoy all the benefits of Taiwanese businessmen.  Taiwan's military government will guarantee all their rights and interests.

The merchant class is originally a social class that invests most of its funds in commercial activities.  Although they also own part of the land, some quite a lot, overall, the proportion of land in their family property is not that large.

And according to Taiwan¡¯s land nationalization regulations, they can equally distribute the land to their blood relatives, so that most of them do not exceed the upper limit of five acres per person.

Therefore, after receiving the goodwill from Taiwan, most of the business class accepted Taiwan's rule and joined Taiwan's business system.  This presents no difficulty to them.

Of course, there are also some businessmen who have rejected Taiwan¡¯s goodwill, abandoned their wealth in the three provinces, and fled to other provinces because they were too involved with the Ming government or had a Ming heart.

Most of these people are businessmen with a lot of wealth. They also own a lot of industries in other parts of the Ming Dynasty, so even if they abandon these things, they can still live well in other parts of the Ming Dynasty.

For them, the military government did not do much to retain them. Since they have made such a choice, unfortunately, these people will be completely excluded from Taiwan's business system. Even if Taiwan invades other parts of the Ming Dynasty in the future,  is also like this.

Of course, the military government did not move all Taiwan policies intact to the three newly occupied southeastern provinces.

For example, when Taiwan had just taken over the three provinces and had not yet established a stable rule, such as the clan system and clan laws, which might have aroused resentment or even resistance among the people of the Ming Dynasty on a larger scale, were not implemented immediately.

Before Taiwan¡¯s rural areas were newly established, there was almost no clan system.  And even if someone wanted to establish a clan system and clan law, it would be impossible to establish it when there are dozens or twenty surnames in the entire village.

"But the three southeastern provinces are different. If it reallyEven if it is implemented, it is conceivable that the number of people who will rise up to resist Taiwan's rule will definitely not be such a small number, I am afraid there will be millions.

Therefore, in order to establish a stable rule in the early stage, Tang Hongsheng, after discussing with other senior officials of the military government, decided to temporarily delay the implementation of some Taiwanese systems to the three provinces, and then seize the opportunity to implement them later.

For example, if we abolish the clan system that has great influence and some clan laws that are contrary to the laws of the country, we can continue to seize the ugly and dark side of it for trial in the next few years.  Through various means, its status in the minds of the people has been destroyed.

When everyone is disgusted with it, it will be a matter of course to abolish it at that time.

In this way, not only can the rule of the military government be quickly established in the three provinces, but also large-scale bloody conflicts can be avoided, and some unnecessary hidden dangers can be eliminated.

After Taiwan initially resolved the resistance from various places, it began to mobilize its troops and attack in all directions. The Ming troops from all over the country, who were eyeing the three provinces, launched a large-scale attack, destroying the confidence of counterattacks in all places.

During this process, the local ethnic minorities caused a lot of trouble to the Taiwanese army. Nearly 60% of Taiwan's war losses were caused by them.  Especially in the junction area of ??Yunnan, Guizhou and Jiangxi, which are the junction of the three provinces.  These ethnic minorities caused more than 2,000 casualties to the Taiwanese army, which gave Chen Yuanyun a headache.

To this end, Chen Yuanyun urgently mobilized hundreds of thousands of tons of cement and steel, and built dozens of military fortresses in various places, completely blocking the Ming army's attacks on the three provinces.

During this process, another outstanding person emerged.  He is Sun Chuanting, a 37-year-old master who showed his military talents several years in advance.

The rise of Taiwan changed the life path of many people in the Ming Dynasty, and the same was true for Sun Chuanting.  He was appointed governor of Zhejiang a year ago.
