    Chapter 6 Datang

"Who?" Wang Xun's face was filled with color.  Although he had just given instructions that important visitors did not need to be notified in advance.  But not just anyone can break into the central tent of the Anxi Army.  Especially when he talks to his friends.

But soon, the anger on his face was drowned by the smile, "Shou Zhi, Brother Qin, Brother Qin, why are you here?"

"Of course I came here to see how you can break the city!" At the entrance of the Chinese military tent, Qin Guomo, Qin Guozhen, and Ma Fang entered side by side and responded in unison.

"You guys" Wang Xun walked a few steps quickly and stepped forward to greet him, shaking his head and smiling. He didn't know how to express his surprise at this time.  After many years, the faces of the three people opposite them no longer looked as youthful as before.  But the concern from the heart in his eyes still made him feel warm.

In the past six months, the Qin brothers and Ma Fang have been frequent visitors to his military camp, but this is the first time that the three of them have come together.  I greeted everyone and said a few words.  Wang Xun went back to Xue Jingxian. He was about to introduce them to each other, but unexpectedly, Ma Fang raised his eyebrows and said coldly: "Second brother, it turns out there are outsiders here. Why don't the three of us wait elsewhere first?"  Wait, it¡¯s not too late to come in and catch up with old times after you finish handling your official duties!¡±

"This" Before Wang Xun could react, Xue Jingxian also stood up from his seat, cupped his hands, and said with a smile: "Since the general has something to do here, Xue will leave first.  Regarding the details of military affairs, I will come back to the general for advice some other time."

"We're not outsiders, why should Brother Xue be so polite!" Wang Xun embarrassedly tried to persuade him to stay, but he couldn't stop Xue Jingxian.  He had no choice but to slowly send the other party outside the Chinese army's tent, and then said goodbye.

Ma Fang never looked at Xue Jingxian seriously. When the other party's back was far away, he pulled off Wang Xun's sleeves and whispered: "Such a despicable villain, second brother, please don't get too close to him. Otherwise,  If you are not careful, he will take credit for your shortcomings."

"Brother Xue was kind to me back then!" Wang Xun turned his head and patiently explained to Ma Fang.  "Besides, although his temperament is a bit intolerant, his behavior may not be as bad as you said. Otherwise, the heroes in Fufeng and Chencang will not be willing to be driven by him!"

"If you are a good person, you will chase after orphans and widows?!" Ma Fang sneered, "If you are a good person, you will be brothers with eunuchs like Yu Chaoen?! As for the fact that he stood up for you in the past, it was because you could use him.  Where. If you, Wang Mingyun, were a nobody in the Anxi Army, who would you believe that he would jump out to help you?!"

"After all, I got a lot of benefits from that incident!" Wang Xun glanced at Ma Fang and added helplessly.  Xue Jingxian risked offending Bian Lingcheng and Gao Lishi's eunuch gang to give him advice, which must have included showing goodwill to the Anxi Army on behalf of the prince.  Even if Wang Xun didn't understand it at the time, after experiencing so many storms, he gradually understood the three flavors.  However, there has never been a perfect person in the officialdom since ancient times. He can do some serious things while obtaining his own interests. This kind of person is considered by Wang Xun to be worthy of friendship.  At least, it's better than guys like Gao Lishi and Bian Lingcheng who spend all their time thinking about how to stab others in the back.

"That's because he wants to get more out of you!" Ma Fang waved his arms in anger when he saw that Wang Xun was not getting enough.

Brothers Qin Guomo and Qin Guozhen didn't want everyone to waste too much saliva on irrelevant people, so one stepped forward to grab Ma Fang, and the other laughed and said, "It's rare for us brothers to get together, Shouzhi, you can just talk about these boring things."  What should I do? Besides, Mingyun is now in a high position and it¡¯s too late for others to curry favor with him, so how dare he stab him in the back so easily."

"Yeah!" Ma Fang shrugged and stopped arguing with Wang Xun, with anger written all over his face.

Seeing that he could not get around this obstacle, Qin Guozhen thought for a while and continued to explain: "Everyone is now a minister in the same palace, and it is better to have more friends than one more opponent. Especially for a party like Mingyun who has a lot of troops, Jiedu,  The more friends you have in court, the less pressure you will receive. If there is an emergency, there will still be someone who can secretly communicate the news!"

"Yes!" The boss Qin Guomo also nodded with a smile, "It is true that it is better to offend a gentleman than a villain. Ming Yun is already a Mu Xiu Yulin, why do you need to find more enemies for him? I know you have always been because of  Mrs. Guo Guo was resentful towards Xue Jingxian, but given the situation at that time, who in Xue Jingxian's position would be willing to let the Yang family live?!"

"I knew you two would say that!" Ma Fang turned his face to the side and sighed softly, not wanting to argue with the Qin brothers.

Wang Xun has learned very clearly about the details of the Maweiyi Mutiny through various channels.  He felt very sympathetic to Mrs. Guo's tragic end.  But sympathy is sympathy, but unlike Ma Fang, who puts all the blame on Xue Jingxian.  in ?It seems that Mrs. Yang Yuyao of Guo State and her sisters are just tools and bargaining chips for Li Heng and Yang Guozhong to fight for power.  Since they sit at the gambling table, no one dies innocently.  If Yang Guozhong had the upper hand that day, Prince Li Heng's direct descendants, such as Xue Jingxian, Yu Chaoen and others, might not have been able to escape the end of having their families confiscated and exterminated.  It would even involve Ma Fang, although he was just a minion under the prince's account at the time.

"Master Xue once made a special trip to find me about Mrs. Guo Guo's matter!" Not wanting to watch the rift between the brothers getting bigger and bigger, Wang Xun thought for a moment and explained to Ma Fang carefully, "He was just following orders.  It¡¯s just an act, I didn¡¯t expect Mrs. Guo Guo¡¯s temperament to be so strong. I didn¡¯t know, let alone know, that Mrs. Guo Guo and her brother are not the same people!¡±

These words were not that he deliberately defended Xue Jingxian, but that the latter had indeed made a special trip to find him.  However, the purpose is not entirely to make up for the relationship with Ma Fang and others. At the same time, he is also trying to find out in a roundabout way what kind of involvement there is between Mrs. Guo Guo and the hero Lei Wanchun.  !  Was the sword Bai Hong that Mrs. Guo Guo held when she committed suicide the same one Lei Wanchun wore in the past?  !  If Lei Wanchun planned to avenge Mrs. Guo Guo, how could Mr. Xue escape his assassination?  !

Wang Xun was also speechless as to Xue Jingxian's question.  Although he can be called unique in doing things, he cannot be called unconcerned.  Therefore, it is impossible to figure out Lei Wanchun's thoughts, and it is impossible to guess what earth-shattering things will happen in Chang'an City after Lei Daxia escapes from the battlefield in Henan.

But he knew clearly that in the face of that sharp sword, worldly power and wealth could not bring any protection to the evildoers.  That sword may not be perfect, nor may it bring fairness and justice to the world, but at least it is much fairer and more majestic than the imperial edicts and oral instructions of the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty.
