"Boss, we" The man in black robe who spoke swallowed unconsciously.  He looked at the battlefield that was being abused by demons. The smell of blood and sulfur filled the air, as if it was a deadly poisonous gas that made people sick.  The demons wielded butcher knives and killed humans on both sides of the enemy. They didn't care about their positions. Screams and blood were what they yearned for.  The demons have no idea who their accomplices are.  "Did we make a mistake?" The man in black robe said with difficulty.

"Ghost" Edsey said nothing.  He stared at the battlefield at the foot of the mountain with gloomy eyes, and the demon's yelling was the biggest mockery to him.  His forehead throbbed, showing his anger.

"We stirred up the war, boss." The man in black robe took courage and said, "But it seems to be in vain. The demons still came. Maybe our war is not as beautiful and moving as the killings of demons."

    Edsey still didn¡¯t speak.

The world was disrupted by them, and wars were burning everywhere. The demon gods of destruction and creation were keen on this.  But their prayers went unanswered, and they couldn't even sense what Clegg's true feelings were.  But now Edsey knows.  He never cared about this at all.  Perhaps these wars, the slaughter of demons summoned in his name, or the frenzied plundering battles were simply not worth a glance for him.  Or maybe they got it wrong from the start.

"Boss, do we want to continue?"

To be honest, Edsey doesn¡¯t know either.

All along, they have followed the teachings of their predecessors, followed the footsteps of Master Lozwa, and tried their best to please the demon who will destroy them at any time. However, as the alchemist said, their fate is right in front of them, Lozwa.  The mages of Ziva still did not escape the fate of destruction.  As far as he knew, at that time, the entire world regarded Clegg as the Creator, but in the end it still did not receive his mercy.  He couldn't help but wonder if they would follow in their footsteps.  Maybe not?  He thought that this time, the world didn't just listen to their orders and just follow them.

"Tell me," Edsel said, "what would happen if all these soldiers died?"

    "Boss, you?"

"Answer my question, if these elite soldiers are sacrificed, who else can fight against the devil?"

The man in black robe felt a little strange, but still answered his question.  "There is no one who can compete." He replied without thinking. "Only relying on the city wall can stop the devil's steps."

¡°I just don¡¯t know how long it can be blocked. One year or two years?¡±

"If" the man in black robe thought for a while and said, "if they come in other ways, no city walls or natural barriers can stop their attack."

"Are you talking about meteors and skyfire?" Edsey shook his head, "But that's too early. It will be at least five years later, if we are still alive by then."

"But the devil can't figure it out based on experience." The man in black robe said, "If he wants, he can do this tomorrow."

"Yes, his will is the highest authority." Edsey laughed self-deprecatingly, "We are just mortals, how can we guess the devil's thoughts? We are really overestimating our abilities. He must think so.  Right. In other words, you didn¡¯t even think about it, you didn¡¯t take us to heart at all, clown, don¡¯t you think we are like that now?¡±

    "Lord Edsel?"

Edsey exhaled and waved his hand, "Nothing, I just think we take it too much for granted."

"Then what should we do now?" the man in black robe asked.

    Edsey fell silent.

Will it be effective if you continue to do it?  No.  He knew it.  So what reason does he have to continue?  The alchemist could see their failure at a glance.  It is indeed an eye of insight.  He sighed.

"What's going on at the Andal Church?" "Ghost Shadow" asked.

"They are completely on the side of the alchemists." The man in black robe said, "They keep a distant distance from us. If it weren't for that corpse, they probably wouldn't even bother to pay attention to us."

"That's not what I asked." Edsel sighed, "I know the Pope's plan, and the alchemists did give them a better choice. What I want to understand now is, how long will it take for that corpse to be  Can you revive yourself?"

"I don't know." The man in black robe thought for a while, "Maybe it will be soon, maybe it will take a long time. The Church of Andal has no longer used our method to revive the other party. Or, in their view, using the devil's method to revive her  , will only make her tainted and fall into the control of the devil."

Edsey laughed contemptuously, "This??Obvious thing, I don't believe that such powerful magic demons don't leave any backdoors. Their choice is very reliable.  At least the alchemist's methods are more trustworthy than those left behind by demons.  However, time is what we lack most.  "

"Then what should we do?" the man in black robe asked.

    ¡°Let the farce continue.¡±

"Continue? Sir, but this has no effect."

"I know better than you." Edsey said, "Then let us win a little more time for them, even a little bit. As for faith. Let them all pray to the goddess Andal and become her believers.  .¡±

    "this¡¡"

Edsey looked back at the man in black robe, "We can't expect to put all our eggs in one basket."

    ¡¡

"Your Majesty the Pope, how is the situation now?" the alchemist asked.

He and the chief maester followed the white-haired pope and walked in the dark corridor, with only a magic light above their heads illuminating them.  The dark and gloomy corridor leads all the way underground, the sound of footsteps echoes, and there seems to be ghosts whispering around.

¡°It¡¯s neither good nor bad.¡± The pope¡¯s voice rang out, ¡°It remains the same.¡±

Leo couldn't help but feel regretful, "What a pity. I thought I could improve the speed a little bit."

"Because we have completely abandoned the devil's methods and re-purified, it is already very good to be able to catch up with the previous progress." The Pope explained, "It is expected that she will wake up in a year."

¡°One year,¡± Leo sighed, it¡¯s still too slow.  No one can guarantee that some inexplicable changes will not happen in a year, especiallyif Clegg detects itLeo can't imagine it.

Fortunately, the protection here is amazing.

"One year is really too long." The chief bachelor said, "Even if there are countless believers praying every moment, it is still a little too long."

"We are trying to resuscitate the gods, not some other simple thing!" The Pope couldn't help but said loudly. He took a few quick breaths and his voice softened, "We need an extremely huge faith.  In order to rebuild his godhead, let alone restore his sanity, it is an almost impossible task."

"Unless the residents of the entire continent are moved by her." Leo said.

"If that is the case, our hopes will undoubtedly be much greater." The chief bachelor said, "The will formed by the intelligent creatures in the entire world can compete with the will of the Creator. I think it is evenly matched."

"But not to mention the whole world, just one-fifth of the believers is already considered thankful." Leo sighed.  He knew the truth. Although they tried their best, only devout believers could provide the truly strong power of faith, and this was even rarer.  "We can only hope that time is enough."

They fell silent, but their footsteps did not stop.

After passing countless spells for protection, the Pope opened the door at the end of the corridor, and a vast underground world appeared in front of the alchemist.  If it weren't for someone's guidance, no one would have imagined that there was such a huge building under the highest temple of Andal Church.  It comes from ancient times, from the last civilization.

"This is the inheritance of the goddess." The pope introduced to the surprised guests. "There is no doubt that other gods must have prepared such tombs, but only the church of the goddess Andal has been preserved. Because her god  The remains are still there.¡±

"This is simply unimaginable." Leo hesitated for a long time before he found a suitable word.  "I always thought that the corpses of all the gods had turned to dust."

"Just like the mages of Lozva and the current Castle of Despair, there are always some people in every era who can see through the coming doomsday." The Pope said sadly, "So they will prepare for their own destruction in advance. There is a secret that you may not know  Know¡¡"

"Your Majesty the Pope, I think we should not be able to keep any secrets before now." The chief bachelor said.

"So I plan to tell you." The old man sighed, "Alchemist, there are some gods who were not killed by you, let alone by demons."

Leo has never heard such remarks.  "Who is that?"

"It's them. They foresaw such an outcome, so they chose to destroy themselves." As the Pope said, he cast his eyes on the bottomless pit in the center of the building.  He muttered a few words, and a spell carried them down.  "The Andal girl is one of them. She banished her power, came to this world in her true form, and then slept here. Her purpose was??One day we will be able to wake her up.  "

Leo opened his mouth wide.  This seemed like a fantasy, but the fact was before his eyes, and he couldn't help but believe it.  Because a corpse as huge as a mountain appeared in front of him.  Her appearance was exactly the same as Andal's statue, but it was countless times larger. Even though it was lifeless, it still exuded heavy pressure, making it difficult for him to breathe.

    "Andal" Leo murmured.

She was dead, but was about to come back to life. Leo could almost feel the vitality starting to pulse in her body.

    "Our future depends on her."

Leo smiled bitterly, "We always thought that we killed and buried the gods, but now, we still need her help."

"So, what are you going to do next?"

"Forge a godhead as a seed." Leo took a deep breath, "A powerless godhead is used as a container. We have to prepare in advance. Otherwise, I am not sure that our meager power of faith can drive such a huge  body. I hope it succeeds."
