The cold wind crossed the boundless sea and blew from the distant polar regions.

Leo stood in front of the window.  He had already put on thick winter clothes and wrapped himself in his fur jacket, looking at the distant sea.  The sea is covered with a layer of mist, like a fairyland.  But he knew the sight wasn't pretty.  It heralds the end.  The sudden cold wave was the beginning of a miserable world. The alchemist could not imagine how many people would die because of the cold wave.  They were used to warm days, just as they had long forgotten the last Clegg purge.  []

The prophecy is coming true bit by bit.  Leo thought that they would soon see the devil's footsteps.

"Leo." Ivira opened the door and walked in, "Claudium was defeated."

He had already expected this outcome.  Xiufa Raz united a large number of kingdoms, and it was simply not something that Kradim could fight against alone.  But it all happened a little too fast.  "What's the specific situation?" he asked.

Eweila handed him the battle report.  "King Linton was assassinated and died on his throne."

Leo threw the battle report aside, there was no need for it now.  "'Ghost' Edsey." Without even thinking about it, they all knew who did it.  "There will be no one but him."

"But why does he have to do this?" Iweila asked in confusion, "Looking at their movements, they seem to want to attack other countries and try to start a war with other kingdoms at the same time."

"Don't worry about them. Just don't mess with us." Leo said, "They will do anything to please Craig. Just wait and see, those idiots will eventually know what they have done."  It's meaningless. The majesty of the demons lies in their elusiveness. Rozwa's mage regards him as a reborn parent, but he still cannot escape the fate of destruction, and the Black Dawn is just starting a war  How can this compare to the pleasure of complete destruction?¡±

"Clerger may postpone his plan, but he will never abort it." Iweila said, "The war in the world is just an appetizer to him. When to have the main meal is determined by his mood."

Leo nodded, "But this is good, at least it can buy us a little more time. Even if it's one more day."

At this time, Luo Qian and Lu Yuewu also completed their mission and came back.  Rosie looked disdainful and crossed her arms, looking extremely annoyed.  But Li Ou wasn't too worried. Lu Yuewu followed her and she would control Luo Qian.

"How is the situation on the mage's side?" Leo asked.

"Lord Storm Chaser is willing to cooperate with our actions, and he even wants to take action himself."

"For an old man like him" Rosie curled her lips, "I'm really worried that he won't be able to catch a breath and die while reciting the spell. But at least his orders are still effective."

The storm chasers killed all the instigators with thunderous force. Of course, those mages are now like docile lambs. The lambs dare not disobey wherever the wolf fangs point.  "Now that you're ready, let's go. I can't bear to have thieves and traitors behind me when I'm fighting against the devil."

    ¡¡

This is the hidden stronghold of the Black Dawn provided by the Knights¡¯ informants.

The black forest and the black castle are filled with an unsettling atmosphere.  The air around them seemed to be stagnant, and a cold mist lingered around them. Leo could already smell the stench of the undead.

"Prepare for battle." He ordered, "Be careful. It's not very safe here."

The mages, led by Rosie, cast some small spells to dispel the fog and improve their vision, while the alchemists manipulated puppets and distributed potions to fight against the poisons and dead souls in the icy swamp.

"Obviously, their arrival disturbed the creatures sleeping here.  They emerged from the mud beneath their feet, stretching out their pale bone claws and hanging from grass roots, with cold blue flames burning in their heads of rotting leaves.  They hate the living and envy the living who can run, jump and breathe.  Therefore, they swarmed up in an unorganized manner without waiting to gather.

The knights stepped forward with shields and resisted their first collision.  Then countless spells of light shone in the undead group, and the bombs thrown by the alchemists scattered holy seeds, which adhered to the rattling bones. Within a moment, they were reduced to ashes.  They advanced slowly but surely.  Until the skeleton blocking the road turned into a huge stitched corpse.

    "That's disgusting," Rosie commented.

"What on earth is this?" Lu Yuewu asked in surprise, "I have never seen such a strange creature."

"They are the product of black magic." Leo explained, "Evil, scary??, hatred, crueltyall negative words can be used for it.  Be careful, they are incredibly powerful.  "

As soon as he finished speaking, the huge fist of the Stitched Corpse smashed all the skeletons and zombies in front of it to the ground, leaving a deep fist mark on the soft mud.  Its power is something that few mortals can physically resist.  The knights could only wander around to distract it, leaving the burden of killing it to the mages and alchemists.

Rosie shouted an order, and the mages collectively cast a spell that disintegrated the undead.  Layers of gray ripples visible to the naked eye spread in all directions with Rosie as the center, and the undead affected disintegrated one after another.  Even stitched corpses are no exception.  This is an advanced spell.  "Let's go!" Rosie shouted, "I can't hold on to this spell for long."

Leo could see it.  The leader of this spell is Rosie. Although she has received help from other mages through magic aggregation, maintaining a huge range still puts a huge burden on her.  In a short period of time, she was almost unable to cast advanced spells.  "Don't worry about those skeletons." The alchemist urged, "Hurry up. Those giant corpses will not attack now."

They quickly passed through the undead-infested area and stopped in a slightly safer place to rest for a while.

    "They won't come after you?"

"The territorial nature of the undead means that they rarely run around." Leo explained breathlessly, "But that is when no one is directing it. But here, this possibility is almost zero. We have to hurry up,  We don¡¯t have much time left.¡±

However, perhaps because the other party did not notice their group of uninvited guests - but Leo thought this was too unlikely - or because he felt that he still had the trump card, the mighty undead army did not pursue them.  This gave them some breathing space.  Passing through the fetid jungle, the old castle covered in fog appeared in front of them.

Unexpectedly, the castle does not have any guarding force.  As expected, those crazy Black Dawn mages seemed to have disappeared and did not launch an attack on them.  The entire castle seemed to have fallen into deathly silence as if it had become a paradise for the dead.

"Could it be that the information was wrong?" Lu Yuewu looked worried.

¡°You¡¯ll know when you go in and take a look.¡±

A soldier from the Crow tribe pushed open the ajar city gate.

The castle smelled musty and the doorway was covered with moss.  The mage cast the lighting spell, and then Leo clearly saw the thick dust on the floor densely covered with footprints.  They were not mistaken.  There are indeed people here, and the footprints are extremely fresh, and some of them look like they have just stepped on them.

    "Be alert." Leo ordered.

There are too many of them, and it would be better to enter blatantly than to be secretive.  However, until they got deep into the castle, they did not encounter any obstruction, except for a few rats chirping away.

"Is everyone dead?" Rosie cursed in a low voice angrily.

"They are still alive." Leo pointed forward. In the corner, there was a flickering firelight like a dangerous trap with a fatal temptation.  "over there."

The soldiers covered each other and approached, only to find that there were only a few people inside, and there were inevitably some familiar faces among them.

Leo stood at the door, unable to hide the ridicule on his face.  He found it really hard to control his sarcasm.  "It's wonderful, a gathering of angels, undead and demons," he said. "How admirable."

Deep in the castle, several mages of Black Dawn were staying with the priests of Andal Church.  Judging from the way they were chatting happily, they must have known each other for a long time.

"We knew you were coming," a mage said, "so we didn't plan to resist."

"I'd rather you resist," Rosie said.

"Are you going to capture him without any help?"

"Anyway, there is no way to survive if you resist. I don't want to die." The mage spread his hands and said.

"What did Edsey teach you?" Leo sneered, "What else did he teach you?"

¡°¡®If you have any questions, just ask them.¡¯ That¡¯s what he said, and I¡¯ll answer some for him.¡±

"Are you considered a senior executive?"

    "It's out of the question."

"Then come to your leader. I don't have time to talk nonsense with you." Leo gritted his teeth and said, "You are involved in a war, and you still want to stay out of it? And you, Lord Priest, we have dealt with each other before, I didn't expect you to be involved too.  I¡¯m complicit with them.¡±

"You know the reason, alchemist." The priest replied, "No, now you should be called Lord Eye of Insight."

"Of course I know that in order to resurrect Andal, even ifShe became Clegg's slave, and you didn't hesitate.  In your opinion, the dignity of a god is not as important as the safety of the world.  How noble.  Treating the god you worship as a despicable giftdo you think you can succeed?  "

"How will you know if you don't try." The priest said, "She will wake up soon. I believe she will accept her future fate. She is very eager and accepts it happily."

"Is it because she emerged from filth? She was polluted by the undead, killing, and all kinds of evil intentions."

¡°We don¡¯t ask about the process, only the results.¡±

"The result isyou will lose completely."

    ¡°It¡¯s not the end yet.¡±

"It's almost there. It will be there soon. I don't care what you do outside, but don't hold us back in Ayinbulo. Please tell Mr. 'Ghost Shadow' Edsey this." Leo stared at them.  , "Otherwise, don't blame me for the hard-earned friendship we had established before."

"Is it because this is your city now?"

    Leo didn¡¯t speak.

"Just let them go like that?" Rosie couldn't believe her ears.

"Then what are you going to do? Kill them, or lock them up? Their purpose is actually the same as ours, but the method is different. As long as they don't destroy Ai Yinbulo, they can do whatever they want." Leo waved his hand.  , "Let's go back. Mage and priest, you will understand that you will be the ones with nothing in the end. I look forward to being reunited with you, but it won't be in this way now."

    ¡°Then we¡¯ll just wait and see.¡±

"I'm eagerly looking forward to it."
