There was a strong wind inside the portal, and ghosts were crying and wolves were howling.

They were spat out and thrown to the ground.

"Are you okay, Rosie?" Leo got up and went to help her.

"I can't die! Don't move your hands or feet, damn it!" She screamed and slapped Leo's hand away, "I'm not that fragile yet."

"It's not because of her "I'm worried about you." He said sarcastically.

"Damn it, I'll be pregnant for several years! I'm not a pregnant woman yet!" She shouted angrily, "Why do we women have to suffer this? I'm going crazy! It's all because of you!"

Leo didn¡¯t know how to refute, so he remained silent.

"Stop arguing, Luo Qian." Lu Yuewu said, "Come on, follow me."

Luo Xi slapped away Lu Yuewu's extended hand, "Asshole, you are like this too." She tugged at her hair frantically, "I'm not porcelain, not a puppet. I can walk on my own. I can't die! Your child will die too.  No!"

our children.  But Leo held back and didn't say anything.  "Okay, then be careful." He could only compromise.

The portal that Ice Dragon opened for them directly spanned most of the continent, sending them directly to the other end of the Western Continent.  They are now on a high mountain, and at their feet is the miraculous alchemy city.  The black sword spiers pierced the sky, shining with ghostly brilliance.

"Let's go back." Leo said, looking at the city in the distance, "But be careful, we don't know what is going on in the city."

However, before they entered the city, they saw heavily guarded guards.

"Stop, who are you?" A soldier shouted to them.

"I am Sir Celestine Leo." Leo shouted, showing his coat of arms, "Open the city gate."

"Sir?" A soldier who looked like a captain stuck his head out on the city wall, "Even Sir, you have to be inspected." He waved his hand, and the city gate was winched up, opening a small gap, and several soldiers  squeezed out.  They held weapons and looked fierce.

"What's going on?" Iweila asked the guards, but she did not reveal her identity.

A soldier glanced at her and said, "When gods fight, mortals suffer. That's how it goes."

"No problem." The soldier gestured to the captain at the top of the city.

"Open the city gate and let them in." the captain ordered.

Behind the city gate is a completely different world, a world completely opposite to the one they left.

Looking around, there are blackened and collapsed houses everywhere, traces of magic and alchemy are lingering, blood is almost deep into the ground, and there is an angry dark red everywhere.  The pedestrians huddled in the corner were frightened and their eyes were full of despair.

"Black Dawn." Leo said through gritted teeth.

Rosie¡¯s eyes almost burst out with fire, ¡°What a good thing they did!¡±

Leo stopped.  "Mr. Feifeido, please send them home first."

"Where are you going?" Lu Yuewu asked.

"Evera, follow me to see the city lord. We have to have a good talk with her and let her schemes go to hell." He said, "Yuewu, wait until I get home and I will repair your sword."

Groups of soldiers patrolled in front of the city lord's mansion, keeping a vigilant eye on all those who passed by. After verifying the identities of Leo and Iwela, the soldiers let them in.  "Miss Blackthorn, your father is also in there." A captain told her.

"Leo, I'm a little nervous." Iweila said suddenly.

Is it because of her father?  "It's okay, Iweila, you and I both know what to do." Leo held her hand and told her, "And everyone has the instinct to survive, and they will realize that this tide is unstoppable."

The herald informed them of their arrival, and the city lord would receive them in the reception room.

"Sir Leo." The city lord sat on a high-backed chair.  After not seeing her for a long time, she seemed quite haggard and no longer as graceful as before.  Mortima Black Thorn, who is Eweila's father, stood aside in a tight-fitting gentleman's uniform.  "I'm glad you're back, but now" she sighed, "I don't expect any good news. You've been gone for too long."

"We encountered many unexpected encounters." Leo said, "I miss you?Must listen.  "

"Must?" The female city lord looked up at him, "Is this an order?"

She seems to be a bit of a catch-all.  "of course not."

"This is best." The city lord pressed his forehead with his hand, "I don't want to hear it. I'm too tired, and there are still many things to do."

Leo stood up abruptly, "Nothing is more important than what I have to say."

"What did you say?" The city lord squinted at him, anger appearing on his face.  "The city is in chaos, fighting is everywhere, and you want me to listen to your ridiculous story?"

After facing several kings, powerful people, and even a giant dragon, Leo turned a blind eye to her power, which was nothing more than a breeze blowing on his face.  So he sneered unabashedly, "You can't control this city, even if you are her master!"

"What did you say?" the city lord shouted.  "So bold."

"Here comes someone!" Black Thorn shouted.

    "Father¡ª¡ª"

Loyal guards broke into the room, but Leo found that these guards were all Neanderthals. When they saw Leo, they all lowered their swords.

"Catch him." The city lord shouted.

Leo raised his hands to show that he had no ill intentions.  "I tell the truth." He said, "Lord City Lord, you know in your heart that what I say is correct. You are only the nominal master. Even if you kill all the worms and opponents in the council, all the power will be concentrated in  Even if you are alone, you cannot control this city and you cannot extinguish the flames of war."

"If I take the power and gather the army, will you and the mages not be afraid of death?"

"They are afraid of death, but they are not afraid of the black dawn, nor are those who know the future."

    "What do you mean?"

"Because you are destined to die anyway. It's just a matter of time."

"Sir, please don't make up nonsense and make alarmist statements."

"Mr. Blackthorn, your daughter will tell you everything, but now, I have to convince the city lord first."

The city lord frowned, and she asked sternly, "What exactly do you want to do?"

"Let's take a longer view. The civil war should be over."

"It wasn't me, the alchemist, who started the war. It was you, and those mages."

"No, to be precise, it's Clegg, the demon of destruction and creation."

"There are no gods in the world." The city lord sneered.

"But there is a devil, a devil who treats us all as pawns." Leo said, "City Lord, please be patient and listen to me tell a story. I promise, you will understand it completely after listening to it."

The city lord waved his hand and signaled the guards to retreat.  "You tell me, I'm listening." She sneered, "I want to see what lies you can come up with."

But Leo¡¯s story was not a lie at all. Both she and Mortima were stunned by his story.

"Thishow is this possible?" The city lord was stunned, and then she sneered as if to escape, "Destruction, doomsday, are you kidding me?" Leo looked at him calmly.  The city lord's smile suddenly froze.  "This is real?"

"Do I need to lie to you?" Leo said, "Evera can vouch for me. Would you question the honor of a bachelor?"

The city lord slumped down on his chair.  "No, of course not." She said weakly, "The end of the world" She suddenly laughed, her voice was sad.  She covered her face with her hands and sobbed softly.  "Then what's the point of what I do? The world will be destroyed anyway"

Mr. Mortima quickly calmed down after being briefly shocked.  "Alchemist, I used to look down on you. But now you are the key. You want to resist the devil, right?"

"Yes, how do you know you won't succeed if you don't work hard." Li Ou said.

"Then how long do we have to prepare?" He asked a key question.

"To be precise, I don't know." Leo answered honestly, "But the old dragon told me that when winter envelopes the world, Clegg's army will appear. The worst outcome is the time left for us.  It¡¯s only half a year.¡±

"Half a year" The city lord murmured to himself, and she smiled weakly, "Half a year, what else can we do?"

"At the very least, it can calm the war in the Alchemy City."

"Will they listen to you?" Mortima said, "Don't forget, you are an alchemist. You are neither the owner of the Seven Towers nor the creator. What's more, the mage hates you."

"As long as it's black? As long as Chenxi doesn't interfere, I will be sure.  "

"Father, Lord City Lord, Leo is the successor of Lord Eye of Insight." Iweila said.  "He'll have his back."

"Then what are you going to do?"

Leo sneered and said, "Start by eliminating the heretics."

The black light flashing from the spiers of the sword group is heartless and cruel. This is Leo's first visit here after coming back for a few days.  He came to accept one of the seven towers and faced the challenge with the proof given to him by Stunas.  He was ready to fight against anything.  No doubt there are those who will not accept his rule.

"Are you ready?" he asked his companion.

"My magic power has started roaring a long time ago." Rosie laughed playfully, "I can't wait to cause some destruction and turn him upside down."

"I also want to try this family heirloom sword." Lu Yuewu said.

Leo nodded. He looked at the outer wall that was covered in lightning and frost, and thought, now is the time to die now or in a year.  He felt that there was no difference between the two.

He walked forward immediately, taking the first step towards the place he had longed for so much.  Li Ou knew that from now on, he would face a completely different life from the one he had followed others' orders.  If successful, then he will be the one in charge of everything, and everything will be borne by him, whether it is success or failure.

Moments before stepping into the sword spiers, he looked back at the scorching sun at noon.  He didn't know if he could see this beautiful sky again, because the darkness was as dense as thick ink, and the hope of success was as slim as a candlelight on the dark ocean.  But in order to survive, he had no choice.

Leo stepped in.  Behind him was the assembled army, the only remaining knights in the hands of the city lord.
