I'm starting to catch up on the plot now, sorry.

The square in front of the church suddenly fell into dead silence.  Everyone's movements seemed to have stopped.  They were holding bowls of porridge and looking at a corner of the square in horror with their eyes like dead fish.  He didn't even notice that the porridge fell from the bowl to the ground.

    "Kill, kill!"

I don¡¯t know who shouted loudly first.  It was like throwing a hot stone into a stagnant pond, and the surrounding area suddenly boiled.  The women screamed loudly and fled, while many men stayed and watched from a distance. More people pushed each other, screamed and cursed, and trampled on each other, fearing that they would avoid getting into trouble.

A wave of dizziness came over me.  Leo felt his eyes turning black.

He lowered his head in shock: a silver table knife was stabbed into his lower abdomen until it had no handle.  The hot blood flowed out like a spring, staining his clothes red, as well as the owner's hand that was holding the handle of the knife, which was as white and tender as a peasant girl.  His muscles spasmed, and the severe pain surged like an overwhelming mountain of water, and he could hardly breathe.

Leo raised his head with difficulty, and the owner of the knife was looking at him with a smile.  She has a pair of beautiful eyes, and there is no trace of murderous intent in her eyes, which are more like innocent and watery eyes.  She is very young.

    "Who are you?" he gasped.

"You don't need to know, alchemist."

How did she know his occupation?  His brain was almost shutting down and he found that he could no longer think.  The symptoms of blood loss made his vision blurred. During a moment of trembling, the seemingly harmless table knife stabbed deeper.  But he barely felt the other pain.  His tongue became tangled, but he could still speak.

"Can't you have some insignificantcompassion for the dead?"

"I think that is the greatest blasphemy to the deceased." Her voice was pleasant, but surprisingly cold.  It seemed like ice from the Nine Nether Hells, without any life in it.  "A dead person is a dead person, and he doesn't need to know anything."

"Be merciful." Leo begged, "Do you want me to turn into a wraith?"

"What does it have to do with me?" the girl said ruthlessly.

Leo forced out a smile with great difficulty, "Satisfy the curiosity of the dying man, so that he will not die in peace."

"No comment," the girl said.  "Go to hell." She suddenly pulled out the table knife and stabbed him fiercely.  "May you rest in peace," she prayed for him cruelly.

A magical airflow generated out of thin air lifted her up, and landed heavily on the muddy stone road after the snow melted.  She was rolled back several times by the force, and her worn robe was torn open by the gravel on the path, revealing the tight-fitting black satin dress underneath.  The silver table knife slipped from her fingers and fell to the ground.

Leo clutched his stomach and almost fell to the ground.  He had tried his best, and his dying struggle made him even weaker.  He staggered and fell to the ground.  Blood dripped from his fingers.  White mist came out of his mouth.  Except for his breathing and heartbeat, there was deathly silence around him, and all sounds seemed to have left him.  He struggled and weakly raised his head, looking at the girl who assassinated him for no reason.

The furious wind neither knocked her unconscious nor restrained her.

The girl stood up.  Her scarf fell off, revealing a pale face that looked as if it had never seen the sun.  Her face was cold and filled with frenzied murderous intent.  He thought he would die here today.  Died in a foreign country inexplicably.  The girl bent down and picked up the table knife, and slowly but surely approached him step by step.

"How should I kill you?" She smiled cruelly.

Leo shook his head, trying to wake himself up.  But a double image appeared in front of his eyes, and he could hardly see the other person's appearance clearly.  She became three.  Lu Yuewu, Rosie, and Iweila appeared in front of him together.  He opened his mouth and tried to call their names, but no words came out.

Several white knights rushed out of the temple at this time, "Miss, let's capture him without mercy."

The girl snorted contemptuously and ignored them.

"Stop!" shouted a white knight, "put down your arms."

The girl kept walking and turned a deaf ear.

"Go up and stop her." The white knight ordered, "Kill her without mercy."

The spears and swords all came towards her.  The girl was like a flying butterfly, easily defeating their defenses. Showing off her fangs like a poisonous snake, a small table knife whirled through their necks.  One after another, the fully armed white knights fell in front of Leo, and he was almost stunned.?

"No one can save you." The girl said to him.

She sneered and raised her weapon at him.  But before she stabbed him with the knife, his vision went black and he fainted completely.

When he opened his eyes, he saw whitewashed walls and a ceiling with intricate carvings.  He moved, pain and groans following.  His belly was tightly wrapped, like a mummy.

"Lie down and don't move, alchemist." A familiar voice sounded next to him, "Lie down and don't move."

He is still alive.  The pain in his body was clearly reminding him, butwhy was he here?  "Killer?" he murmured, "you saved me?"

"I happened to pass by there." The killer explained.  "You're so lucky. If you were just a little short of it, you wouldn't be able to see the sun tomorrow."

I didn¡¯t even get to see the sunset today.  He thought mockingly, "Then who is the other party?"

The killer sat beside his bed, the shadow blocking his face, and the alchemist's blurred eyes could not see his appearance.  In other words, his appearance has never been truly seen by anyone.  "I'm not sure. The girl ran away when she saw that she couldn't be beaten." The killer said, "But the way she ran away was very special. She was like a shadow, silently. How many assassins would be willing to defeat her."

    "Shadow? Gray?"

The killer glanced at him, "That's right? You know?"

He knows who it is.  "She is the Shadow Sister." But aren't they only active in Ayinbulo?  How come he suddenly came to Kradim, thousands of miles away?  What are they crazy about?  And found him so smoothly?  Still pursuing him relentlessly?  What happened to Ayinbulo?  He couldn't figure it out, and his head hurt, as if countless needles were pricking his head.

"Shadow Sister?" The killer shook his head, "I haven't heard of it."

Leo didn¡¯t want to answer for the time being, so he changed the topic.  "By the way, where am I now?"

"The church of Andal." The killer said, "It was all thanks to the bishop to save you, otherwise you would have died long ago. If that were the case, those girls would definitely cry to death."

"Thank you, killer." He said weakly.

"There is nothing to thank." The killer waved his hand, "If you want to thank me, you should also thank the bishop."

He put on an ugly smile and said, "If I can stand up."

"Don't worry, you'll get better in a few days." The killer comforted, "Maybe that girl also fell in love with you and showed mercy to you. The knife didn't hurt your internal organs at all, not even a single intestine.  None of them were broken. What good luck."

I¡¯m about to die. It¡¯s not good luck to die while still alive and bleeding out.  "Maybe she just wants to torture me."

    The killer shrugged, "Who knows."

She will come again anyway.  Leo thought there was always a chance he could figure this out.  "Assassin, did the bishop mention that paladin?"

The killer turned his head and glanced at him, "Do you still have time to worry about this?"

"That's what I came here for. Don't forget, we ourselves" He suddenly coughed violently, and the pain at the wound made him gasp with his mouth wide open as if he was a frog caught in someone's hand.  "We are actually no different from him."

"I knew it." The killer said, "You are a really good guy, a really bad guy." He sighed, "I asked the bishop."

Leo smiled awkwardly, "What did he say?"

"The paladin was guarded and bathed in the holy light. It was said that this would wash away his sins, free him from the shadows, and prevent his corruption." The killer sneered, "It's so funny, he thought we  Are they the ignorant poor people outside the church who can be deceived at will?"

"This has no effect." Leo said, "In the village, the priest has already tried it."

"Yes. But he is stubborn." The killer suddenly stood up, "And, I think they did it on purpose. They used the so-called holy light to 'purify sin'. All ghosts know that all the gods are dead.  Sorry. The Holy Light is just the ugliest magic trick."

"Wait a minute, killer, since this has no effect, why would they do it? You should be able to feel the presence of the holy light, right?"

"Yes, that's right, it's shining right over there. What a golden miracle." The killer sneered, "There must be another three-kowtow and nine-kowtow sound outside."

A strong uneasiness enveloped Leo.  He struggled to stand.

"Are you desperate for your life? What are you doing?" the killer yelled at him.

"There's no time." Leo said, holding his stomach, "Help me up, are we leaving here?"

"Get out of here? Are you crazy?"

"I'm not crazy. The ones who are crazy are those bishops, those priests, and that woman Andal!" He said with difficulty, "The damn holy light is the 'purification of evil' that leads the evil to be born. They are the ones who created that terror.  Knight, it was the Holy Light that drew that terrifying knight from hell! They are still creating more terrifying knights! They are harvesting lives."

    "How can this be?"

"Nothing is impossible." Leo kept urging, "They did this hundreds of years ago! The book says, 'Good deeds and evil deeds are all performed under the witness of the sun.'" Light turns to darkness  , and darkness turns into light. "The knight raised his butcher's knife high, the angel waved his sword, the people screamed in the sun, and the ghosts laughed in the sun." This passage comes from their holy scriptures! Unfortunately, I thought it was describing the angels and  The devil's holy war is simply a show directed by themselves."

    "But why?"

"No reason." Leo said in horror, "Just to resurrect Andal. There is a method recorded in the alchemy scroll. This method can resurrect the gods not through faith, but through blood. They want to resurrect Andal.  Become a queen born in the sea of ??killing and blood. They have sold all their reason and morality to the devil."
