The knight's heavy sword waved in the crowd with the rhythm of a pendulum, and headless corpses fell to the ground one after another.

¡°Charlotte¡ª¡ª¡± The paladin fell to his knees weakly.  He completely lost the will to resist and cried like an abandoned woman.  He should be praying to Andal, Leo thought, instead of being a puddle of flesh.

Wails and screams filled the night sky.

The villagers¡¯ attempts to escape were as futile as their feeble resistance.  They can't escape.  But more frightened and dazed villagers who had thrown stones at them discovered the neat queues of outsiders, who all rushed towards them and hid behind them as if they were an impenetrable steel wall.

The warriors who dared to stop the rebellious knights all fell, and there was only a cruel scene in front of him.

The giant horse tilted its head in disdain, spraying foul-smelling white mist from its mouth and nose.  It paved the road with its iron hooves, and its white eyes showed evil intent, carrying its owner who was also full of malice.  The knight's eyes burning with gray flames twisted and stared coldly at the creature in front of him. There was no doubt that the other person's eyes were filled with hatred, pure hatred.

For a moment, Leo suddenly remembered a conversation he had with his father a long time ago:

"What is the purpose of the undead's killing?" In his vague memory, he seemed to be reading a book written by his predecessors.  He was filled with confusion.  "What do they want? Sacrifice? Revenge?"

"The dead hate the living," the father replied, his voice so soft that he didn't even blow the candle in front of him, "because we can still hope, laugh, and bathe in the sun. No other reason is needed."

In silence, and looking at each other in deathly silence, Li Oujing listened to the sound of her own heartbeat.  From the eyes of the knight and the giant beast under his crotch, he recognized this wise assertion.  He suddenly understood the other party's intention: he just wanted to turn them into evil spirits like him.  His eyes were burning like ashes, just wanting them to fall into the abyss like him.

Following the knight's indifferent gaze, as cold as winter, Leo saw the focus of his eyes - the paladin.  He had a strong premonition that that was his ultimate goal.  All his purposes are to let the paladin accompany him, choose to fall, fall into the arms of the devil, and become an evil spirit hated by the sun from now on.

The alchemist now knows the reason why the knight appears here¡ª¡ª

    He comes after the paladin!

The horse's hooves hit the ground like thunder; the knight once again raised the heavy sword that shone with silver light and reaped life.  Thick blood flowed on the sword, and a strange and terrifying light danced under the dark red light of the solar eclipse.  The villagers who were lucky enough to escape had their fists stuffed into their mouths, but screams still inevitably came out.

    "Leo Ou." Lu Yuewu said.

"Help us." The village chief begged as he lay on the ground with difficulty.

But Leo wasn¡¯t sure how much could be saved, maybe even they themselves couldn¡¯t be saved.  Staring at the slowly approaching knight, a huge black shadow pressed towards him like a mountain.  He forgot to breathe and didn't know how to resist.  Which one is more effective, the rune sword in your hand, the alchemical potion, or magic?  he does not know.

The knight galloped towards them, whipping his horse and whipping up his horse.

"Do something quickly!" Rosie yelled at him.

He had no time to think.  He could almost feel the cold that penetrated his bones.  Leave it to fate!  he said to himself.  There are many defenseless people behind him, and he has no way to retreat.  The only option is to give it a try.

"Go back! Ghost!" The Crow Man moved faster than him.

He roared in battle, whipping up a huge whirlwind. The ax drew a streak of silver light and fiercely collided with the knight's heavy sword.  The muffled sound of metal impact was splashed together with sparks.  The arakkoa could not resist the huge strength of the knight and his horse. He staggered back, but he just managed to avoid the iron hooves raised by the giant beast.

"Undead, go back to your hell!" Feifei Duo yelled.

The warriors of the Crow tribe rushed forward together.  The knight demonstrates his proficiency with the sword.  He waved his heavy sword to block the attacks of the Crow people one by one. The giant horse under his crotch roared loudly, stepped forward, kicked and bit, and for a moment he actually had the upper hand.

But no matter how hard the warriors tried, they could not hurt the knight at all.  The swords in their hands only left a few black holes filled with smoke on the knight and the horse beneath him. No blood was seen flowing out, but they returned to the original state in a short moment.  He knows no pain, no fatigue, and has no weakness in the darkness of the eclipse.

"We have to do something." Ivira said uneasily.

But what can he do?  Is his swordsmanship as good as that of a knight?  Can his magic penetrate that rolling black mist barrier?  Or can his alchemical medicine directly hurt???The soul of the terrifying knight?

    etc¡¡

    He remembered something.

His father told him that these terrifying knights and dark lords were all originated from demons. They were deceived by them and reborn through the evil methods of the abyss and hell Maybe the method of eliminating demons would be somewhat effective?  Leo couldn't be sure, but it was worth a try.

"Fei Feiduo." He shouted and threw the medicine over.  "Put it on the sword."

There are very few medicines left that are expensive and difficult to make.  It was originally created to deal with succubi, just like the turtle-shaped runestone.  But the latter has turned into a torrent of magic, and only a little bit is leftit will evaporate with the air.  Leo couldn't be sure how effective it would be, and whether it would last untilthe end of the solar eclipse.  All their hope now lies here.

The knight danced the heavy sword with great vigor.  Leo found that it was difficult for him to join the battle group. He would only make trouble and mess up the tacit cooperation of the arakkoa, which would definitely lead to their failure.  He recognized the fact that made him feel embarrassed and helpless, and stayed where he was, holding a seal in his palm, holding the sword tightly, and keeping an eye on the battlefield.

The effect of the alchemy potion appeared almost immediately.

Although the ordinary man's sharp blade still cannot completely kill the dark lord, it is enough to damage his soul.  The gray flames in the knight's eyes were shaking.  He opened his mouth and let out a silent roar, and the surging magic power struck them layer by layer.  The white eyes of the giant horse under his crotch turned red, filled with the purest cruelty.

The omnipresent and invisible magic power is like a storm that blows everyone around.  The alchemist found it difficult to stand, and he even staggered away until he was leaning against the cold barrier.  The invisible cage still imprisoned them on this stage of death.  The only person who was not affected was the paladin kneeling on the ground.

"Charlotte?" the paladin tried to shout.

"He can't hear." Leo said with difficulty, "He will only kill you."

At this moment, Leo heard the woman's scream.  He raised his head and saw a mass of black mist lingering behind the knight's cloak. Then he saw the knight raise the hand that was always holding the reins, make a strange gesture as if releasing a spell, and then wave it down heavily.  A terrible cold swept over them in an instant. The uneven cobblestone road was suddenly covered with white frost. The rolling mist came out of the ground and wrapped the body that fell under the knight's iron hooves.  Without any warning, the heads that he had severed rose from the ground, forming a horrifying scene.

Under the control of evil magic, the faces of the people who had just died still showed fear and horror, showing frightening smiles.  The bodyless head floats in the air like a swift cannonball.  Hair whipping in the air.  The dead laugh at the living.

The villagers screamed in horror.  Even the alchemist could not help but feel his heart palpitate at the sight and his legs felt weak.  These people were all victims of the knight, and now they have become his evil slaves.

The heads rushed towards them, revealing their tiny teeth.

There is no doubt that all the heads avoided the paladin who was kneeling on the ground and did not know how to resist.

Although they were particularly terrifying, with a chill in their green eyes, Leo suppressed his fear and cut a woman's head in half with a sword.  The soldiers' performance was even more outstanding.  Although the villagers call their loved ones by their names, for these heartbroken warriors, endless fighting is the magic weapon for survival.

But there are too many heads.  The knight is not an idiot.

Those flying heads bypassed them and rushed towards the group of villagers from the air.  The villagers screamed and fled in fear.  However, heads caught up with them easily.  A head sneered and bit a villager's arm, the bone being visible.  Other heads swarmed up, and the sound of dozens of sets of teeth biting and chewing almost drowned out his painful wails.

The alchemist was exhausted and the arakkoa were even more breathless.  The next person they save, another person is devoured.  The skull wisely avoids them, choosing the unarmed villagers.  Their teeth tore and bit, turning their former relatives into pieces.

Leo realized in embarrassment that they really couldn't save everyone.

"Everyone come together, don't run around!"

However, the Cavaliers cut off their last chance of survival.

After a high-pitched neigh, the knight turned his horse's head, and the huge black horse rushed into the noisy battlefield again, rushing over just inches from the paladin.  His long sword slaughtered the stiff villagers on both sides, but did not touch the crying paladin at all.  The group of flying slaves followed their demonic leader like crows. It floated back and forth, as if it were a stone in the river.

The running knight was like a bolt of lightning, cutting off all living things on the road. He spared the arakkoa who had blocked him from harming him, and also spared the alchemist. He spared all outsiders He turned a blind eye to them.  Leo finally understood.

He loves slaughter.  The village was his prey.  They are all bait in the trap.  The knight wants everyone to come out and hit the main road during the eclipse so they can go on a killing spree.  A bloody harvest, harvesting lives to satisfy his lust.

¡Perhaps he still retains a bit of the so-called knight¡¯s heart?  Follow the rules established before the killing begins.

Leo couldn't help but laugh.  A bitter smile crawled on his face, and he was helpless as he looked at the devastation everywhere.

The killing seems to be endless.

Finally, in the silence, Leo slowed down, raised his eyes, and faced the mist-filled gravel road.  It's a morgue.  The bent and broken mist was thrown everywhere.  Beheaded bodies piled up.  Some villagers' bodies were torn into pieces, while others were torn into pieces. Each corpse was covered with countless bite marks, and their simple clothes were also broken into pieces, revealing the gnawed flesh and blood underneath.  Leo took a sharp breath, and the coppery smell of blood filled his lungs.

The knight stood facing the paladin, his figure looming in the swirling mist.

They didn't move, but Leo was sure that the knight must have said something, through magic or other means.  In the tranquility of death, Leo vaguely saw a ray of golden sunshine appearing in front of his eyes, dispelling the stale fog.

    The solar eclipse is over.

He heard the neighing of the war horses, as if mocking them for surviving, and then walked away with broken steps, taking the silent master back to hell and abyss.  The gravel road disappeared, and Leo found them on the street outside the hotel.  The paladin fell to his knees in the mud, covering his face and crying.

"What should we do?" Lu Yuewu said softly, her face pale.

"Get out of here." He looked at the blazing sky. "The further away, the better."

"But" she said weakly, unable to hide her guilt.  "Will he show up again?" Like Leo, she was powerless against the massacre.

    no doubt.

The paladin is still here, and he will come back again.
