"Have you heard? The city lord's son was attacked by a ferocious beast. Not even his bones were left. The three bodyguards were all eaten, leaving only meat residue."

"No, that beauty called Yu Ji was actually a thousand-year-old vixen. She just came to their house as a guest and killed the frail son of the city lord."

All kinds of rumors are flying.  Luo City was in chaos, but Zhao Jinghao regained his consciousness a little, so he posted notices every day saying that he would catch the murderer and kill him with a thousand knives.  To avenge his son.  Lan was not unconscious for long, only about an hour.  As soon as she woke up, Yu Ji went to call the doctor, followed by Huang Yi, who was responsible for the incident this time.  While he wanted to understand things, he was more concerned about the Orion who had been injured several times.

"How long have I been in a coma? Yu Ji, are you okay?" Lan just woke up and saw Yu Ji sitting next to him, and felt much relieved. The doctor also told Huang Yi that Lan's body was fine.

"Yu Wei has nothing to do, but Lan, are you feeling uncomfortable in any way?" After an hour of rest, Yu Ji's physical strength has recovered to a certain extent.

Lan moved his muscles and bones, but felt sore all over his body. His mind was in chaos. A few frightened faces flashed occasionally, but he couldn't remember anything clearly.  He didn't even feel that there were any wounds on his body, so he immediately shook his head.  I hope I can wake up faster.

"Lan, let me ask you, did you see what happened before you fell into coma? Who caused such a scene?" Huang Yi waited for Lan to finish cleaning and then started his own work.

"I only remember that I drank that kind of tea, and finally I lost all my strength. Then I was beaten by a group of people, and I passed out. When I woke up, I was lying here. What happened next?" Lan tried to think back to herself.  The vague flashes of what happened before made him feel a little uneasy.

"They are all dead. You are the only one who is lucky enough to be alive." Huang Yi sighed. He originally thought Lan knew something. Looking at Lan's confused eyes, he shook his head and added, "They seemed to be trapped by something."  The ghosts attacked, one had his throat bitten open, and the others I can't even describe. It was horrible."

"What about Zhao Shisheng? I'm going to beat him up." Lan obviously didn't understand what Huang Yi said.  He was very angry and wanted to teach Zhao Shisheng a lesson.

"He? He is the worst. His face was damaged in unknown ways, and he was nailed to a pillar with a wooden sword. It was like being tortured by hell." Although Huang Yi didn't like that very much.  Shi Sheng, but couldn't help but have a hint of pity in his tone.

"You must have killed my son!" A feeble roar came from outside the door.  Zhao Jinghao, who had disheveled hair, suddenly burst in through the door, with a trace of sadness and anger in his eyes.

"Come here, arrest this murderer!" Several heavily armed soldiers came in behind him, and apparently knowing that Lan was the only one alive, Zhao Jinghao naturally regarded him as the murderer.

"But my lord" Huang Yi and Yu Ji wanted to explain, but they just said a few words.  The somewhat crazy city lord stopped their speeches.  The person commanding him directly pushed towards Lan, who was still a little confused.

"Sir, wait a minute." A familiar voice came from outside the door, and that person was Lan's master, Ding Jian.  When he saw that Lan didn't come to practice today, he became suspicious. After asking around, he found out that something had happened in the City Lord's Mansion.

"What? You want to protect him?" Zhao Jinghao had already lost his original courtesy, but Ding Jian was his sworn brother after all, so he had to temporarily stop the guards from arresting him.

"I believe that we should find out the truth before arresting him. It is unjustifiable to arrest my disciple blindly like this." Ding Jian remained calm and composed, completely different from Zhao Jinghao's angry look.

"This is the only person alive in the entire hall. Who else could he be? He still has the wooden sword you gave him stuck in his neck. Oh yes, you must be an accomplice!" The former city lord had already lost his mind.

"The wooden sword was indeed given to my apprentice by me. Sir, please think clearly. It was your son who invited them here, and you should know his purpose." Ding Jian looked at Yu who dared not speak.  Ji, I saw her hand holding Lan tightly, for fear that Lan would be arrested.

Indeed, the purpose of Zhao Shisheng's invitation to Yu Ji and Lan was not to apologize. Everyone knew the real purpose, but it was difficult to say because of the face.  The identities of the three villains were also found out clearly, and even passers-by knew that they were not good people.

"Alas." The city lord sighed, perhaps knowing his mistake.  He could only walk away. Perhaps he knew that he was indeed impulsive.
