Chapter 449: The battle is ongoing

The Cunetra star field is surrounded by stars.  If observed from other places in the universe, it would look like a small dark spot in the twinkling stars.  Compared with other star fields, the stars here are much sparser.  The sparse number of planets means that the possibility of containing minerals needed by humans is smaller. In addition, the surrounding star fields lack direct space gates leading here. Even interstellar explorers rarely set foot here.  If it weren't for the fact that it was so inaccessible that interstellar pirates once used it as a hideout, perhaps most people would have never heard of the name Cunetra.  However, the starry sky is so vast, and it is not surprising that there are so many star fields that ordinary people have never heard of.  However, Weimar and his men seemed to be quite familiar with this place.

"Beyond the meteorite belt in front is an empty star field, which is just suitable for us to attack the Shenlian people." Weimar pointed to a point on the starry sky map and said to Wu Wei.

"Have you reported the spatial coordinates and data of that location to the Intelligence Department?" Wu Wei said with some concern.

Since the Free Army fleet was fully equipped with jump thrusters, Yi Lexiang has been consciously requesting the Intelligence Department to collect space data of various space units.  Although he knew that Weimar was unlikely to miss this place, Wu Wei was still a little worried.

"Don't worry, there must be one at the Intelligence Department." Weimar replied confidently.

The fleet sailed at a constant speed along the route indicated by Weimar. The space monitoring data officer nervously stared at the screen in front of him. The slightest space fluctuation would make him nervous for a long time.  His nervousness was not because of the Divine Alliance fleet behind him, but because he was worried that his fleet would accidentally sail into the space jump area.  No matter where their own fleet sets off from, all they have in their hands when they jump is the spatial coordinates and spatial data of the jump point.  In principle, the location where they appear should also be within the set area, but the data may have errors, and certain characteristics of the space itself may also affect the accuracy of the jump.  There have been incidents in the past where two fleets overlapped in the same space.

"Spatial fluctuation signal detected." Data monitor

"The fleet turns and yaws at an angle of thirty degrees." Weimar ordered calmly.

Wu Wei said nothing and had no expression on his face, but his eyes were fixed on the starry sky map.  He believed that Yi Lexiang would definitely find a way to rescue them, but he was not sure whether Yi Lexiang would send multiple reinforcements as he speculated.  In front of Weimar and other subordinates, as the chief of staff, he must maintain a confident attitude.  The fleet of the Divine Alliance trapped them in the area of ??the supernova explosion, and they would slowly shrink the encirclement until finally they had no place to hide.  Breakout is inevitable.  But choosing such an open area with no obstructions or space gates as a breakthrough is undoubtedly a tactical risk.  If his judgment was wrong, then the probability of the entire fleet being wiped out by the Divine Alliance people also increased to an almost inescapable situation because of his mistake.

"Signal confirmed." The red warning light on the communication panel flashed continuously, emitting a low but rapid beep.  "Target confirmed! It's the fleet of the Divine Alliance."

There was a disappointed sigh from the command bridge.

"Avoid the enemy ships!" The lead ship of the fleet began to turn and sail in the other direction.

A solitary star in the starry sky emits a dim red light.  It is not far from the fleet.  If it were a star in its prime, the starry sky around the fleet should be reflected in the dazzling light of stars.  But now, the dim red light has added a bit of coldness and loneliness to this remote starry sky.

Behind them, more starships emerged from the silent zone, and the golden color declared the camp they were in.  Weimar cast uneasy eyes on Wu Wei, who had been silent, but he didn't say anything.  He knew that Wu Wei was more nervous than any of them at this time.  His gaze went beyond Wu Wei and shot through the porthole to the vast but empty starry sky.  The fate of all of them lies in the hands of His Majesty the Emperor.  Where are the reinforcements?

    ??¡ª¡ª

Maidment looked at his neatly manicured nails and was indifferent to the chase going on outside the porthole window.  He is just a wolf among the wolves, there is no need to push the other party too hard.  It won't be long before the other wolves in the pack arrive and the hunt begins.  And they are not the main force in hunting, they are just hounds that drive the prey into the hunting area. Their allies (some people also call those humanoid creatures 'god warriors.') will tear those God Alliance rebels to pieces.

But Maidment was extremely unfavorable to their new allies.  The situation in the Divine Alliance is no longer what it used to be.  The elders in the Council of Elders lost their power, and a divine envoy took over everything in the League of Gods.  The splendid golden door of the sacred temple has been silent for ten years.Over the past century, almost everyone has forgotten the existence of this sacred temple, and they have also forgotten that divine envoys who are superior to mortals will come out of this temple.  For most of the young nobles of the Divine Alliance, the various legends about divine envoys are just legends, just like the legends about gods in ancient times, which are illusory and unrealistic.  For families with ancient traditions, even if their family records once recorded true records of divine messengers coming to the mortal world, most people still doubt it.  But not everyone is skeptical about this. At least the Knights of the Temple still adhere to their creed. The object they swear allegiance to is the magnificent statue of the envoy in front of the temple.  It was their persistence that deprived the Presbyterian Church of its last hope of maintaining its rule.

Maidment has looked up at the tall, majestic but faceless statue more than once.  He just admired the hard work put in by his predecessors in building this sculpture rather than having any expectations for the God himself.  However, now all the legends have become reality!  When the envoy with golden light all over his body slowly stepped out of the door that seemed to have been closed forever, thousands of bells rang together, and the sculptures of gods in all the branch temples in the starry sky radiated glittering golden light.  The high prestige and unquestionable authority that the Presbyterian Church had built up for centuries collapsed in an instant.  This is a miracle!  It is a miracle brought to the world by the messenger of God. Countless people worship it and shed tears.  However, those who worshiped were just insignificant citizens. They may have thought that their devout beliefs were echoed by the gods.  But nobles like Maidment thought otherwise.  They watched with cold eyes. They had already seen through the nature of God and understood their position in this country that believed in gods.  Most of them don't really believe in the existence of God, and privilege gives them more opportunities to understand the outside world.  In their view, they are just ministers of God, pawns in the hands of the superiors who use God's faith to rule this country.  However, the appearance of divine messengers and miraculous statues, this iron-clad fact, still had a great impact on many of their original senses of the world.  But the impact of faith itself cannot change their status in this world. Perhaps it is just that a more powerful ruler replaces the original ruler, that's all.

The messenger was alone when he appeared. Except for the Temple Knights who were delighted with his arrival, most people did not realize that the entire Holy Alliance would undergo earth-shaking changes.  Even the loyal knights of the Temple Knights probably never thought about the impact that the appearance of the God Envoy would have on their status.  The divine envoy summoned a true 'Warrior of God', a humanoid creature that could fly freely in the sky and the universe.  If you only judge them by their appearance, you won't be able to find any difference between them and ordinary people.  However, they possess power that ordinary people cannot match. In front of them, the holy knights of the Temple Knights who once bathed in the glory and glory of God can only humbly lower their heads that they once held high.

Maidment¡¯s family has huge power, but of course all power is limited to the secular world.  They are not yet able to enter the realm of faith related to God.  But this was enough for him to learn many truths that ordinary people didn't know!  Of course that might be a lie!  In the vast world of human territory outside the League of Gods, people call this group of ¡®warriors of gods¡¯ who come from nowhere as ¡®barbarians¡¯.  Humans regard them as the 'enemies of mankind'.  There is definite news that these strange races of people, called ¡®Warriors of God¡¯ in the mouth of the divine envoy, are ancient humans and their descendants who were defeated and sealed into alien spaces in ancient times.  The most incredible news comes from the newly established New Charno Empire. They swear that in ancient times the temple was the main force in the war that sealed the barbarians into another space.  Naturally, this news was immediately classified as heresy by the superior envoys.  But he could seal the mouths of the world, but he could not prevent the news from spreading within the nobles.  Some people believe it, and some people scorn it.  But Maidment was part of a group that believed the rumor.  In his opinion, if the Charno Empire wanted to use this to discredit the halo of glory that shrouded the Divine Envoy, they could have made up a more perfect set of rhetoric instead of telling such an incredible story.  But whether you believe it or not is irrelevant in the current situation.  The patriarch of his family also warned him.  The oath of allegiance of the Knights of the Divine Alliance and the existence of the 'Warriors of God' are enough to offset everyone's doubts.  To raise a voice of doubt in the face of absolute power is like putting your neck under the high-hanging ax blade of the guillotine, and your head may be chopped off at any time.

More and more starships appear in the starry sky, weaving a big net bit by bit, Weimar has no way to escape.  When the starship carrying the barbarians appeared from the void, it also announced the tragic fate that the other party was about to face.  Maidment raised his head, squinted his eyes slightly, and stared at the red figures pouring out of the starship.  They gathered in the void where humans could not survive, and the starry sky was covered in fiery red.  These??, let¡¯s call them humans for now.  They treat ordinary people like them like livestock, and there is no pity or sympathy in their eyes.  It is said that in the remote galaxies of the League of Gods, they packed large numbers of ordinary people into starships and transported them to unknown destinations.  This seemed to be some kind of ominous omen. Whenever he thought of this, Maidment felt a strong sense of uneasiness in his heart.  No matter how big the gap in identity and status is between ordinary people and nobles like them, they are essentially the same human beings.  What those missing people are experiencing today may also happen to them in the near future.

"Sir Maidment, the command ship ordered us to cooperate with the barbarians in launching an attack." The adjutant reminded him softly, interrupting Maidment's chaotic thoughts.  The net has been compiled and now it is time to close it.

"Well, then order the fleet to start." Maidment replied noncommittally.  He was not very enthusiastic about the battle to encircle and annihilate this group of rebels who were just an insignificant group in the eyes of the gods.  Anyone who is not a fool will clearly understand that Weimar may have been an interstellar pirate or a rebel before, but he is definitely not the current person.  He was part of the Charno dynasty.  The final result of this military operation was that the Divine Alliance directly faced the angry revenge from His Majesty the Emperor, who now possessed one-third of the power of the human kingdom, and shifted the attention originally aimed at the barbarians to the Holy Alliance.  Even if the Holy Alliance has long been involved in this war, even if they, who are also members of the human race, have long stood in line with the 'Warriors of God' who do not even know what the other party is under the order of the divine envoy.  Together, even though many of them don't know the reason for this war, and even if many of them are unwilling, they seem to have no other choice but to obey silently.

Another huge space fluctuation rippled from the star space, and even Maidment's not very strong mental power felt the aftermath of this jump in the real world.  He raised his head in shock and looked at the empty dark starry sky.  From scratch, from water curtain to entity, a huge fleet appeared in his sight.  There are no logos on the dark ship, which seems to indicate the identity of the other party.  There is only one starship in the entire galaxy like this.  There was a complicated look in Maidment's eyes, which seemed to be a little expectant and a little frightened.

    ??¡ª¡ª

A deafening cheer erupted from the command bridge. Even though everyone was prepared to die, when the rescue fleet appeared, everyone still couldn't hold back the excitement and excitement in their hearts.  Wu Wei slumped down on the seat with a faint smile on his face.  Beside him, the stocky Weimar jumped up and down like a child, roaring from his mouth.  He grabbed Wu Wei's arm and pulled him up from his seat, "General, you didn't give up on us. Your judgment is correct!"

Wu Wei smiled and nodded, letting the other party vent his excitement in this way.  "It's His Majesty the Emperor's personal fleet!" he said softly.

The loud cheers drowned out his voice.  Weimar shook his head, "What did you say?"

"I said that was His Majesty the Emperor's personal fleet." Wu Wei roared even louder.

Weimar opened her eyes wide with disbelief on her face.  He scratched his head and thought of the first time he met Yi Lexiang. The emperor he swore allegiance to had broken into the crisis-ridden Holy Alliance with only three thousand mechas.  This seems to be the consistent style of His Majesty the Emperor.

The sudden appearance of the Charno starship disrupted all deployments of the Divine Alliance fleet.  Their starship stayed in place, and their previous arrogance had disappeared without a trace.  The whole world seemed to come to a brief standstill. When they recovered from the chaos and found that the enemy that appeared was not as powerful as they imagined, white light and flames enveloped the entire starry sky again.

Yi Lexiang¡¯s personal guard fleet consists of 10,000 starships. The location they jumped to is right on the edge of the Shen Alliance people¡¯s encirclement, less than 3,000 kilometers away from the nearest Shen Alliance fleet.  For the vast starry sky, this distance is almost equivalent to close combat on the ground.  Li Shaojun wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and saw that many people were as frightened as him.  They almost collided with the Divine Alliance fleet.

The beams of light emitted by the starship's main guns intertwined into a giant network in the dark starry sky. The starship's energy shield could not withstand the death beam fired at close range.  Casualties occurred on both sides almost as soon as the war started, and the heavy armored ship located outside the fleet immediately became the first victim.  But fortunately, the location where they appeared was right on the rear wing of the Divine Alliance fleet.  For the sake of safety, Yi Lexiang ordered the fleet to form a spherical formation that was most conducive to defense, while their enemies had an offensive spindle formation, and the tip of the spindle with the strongest firepower was not pointed at them.  After several rounds of shooting, the Shenmeng fleet suffered heavy losses. The supply fleet located at the rear of the formation suffered an almost devastating blow.

Both sides are trying their best to change their formations, trying to bring greater firepower output to the other side.  But with another salvo from the Charno fleet, all the efforts of the commander of the Divine Alliance fleet came to nothing.  To be precise, this was just a coincidence.  The commander of the Shenmeng fleet may be a cautious person. He did not place his flagship in the center of the shuttle formation as usual, but placed it at the tail of the shuttle.  What's even more unlucky is that his flagship did not escape the opponent's attack. A particle beam shot from the bow of the ship and penetrated directly through the hull. When it penetrated, it happened to hit the energy core at the core of the hull. In a dazzling light,  In the blue light, the command flagship of the Divine Alliance squadron instantly disappeared into nothing.  The explosion when the battleship was killed also damaged the side decks of several nearby starships.  The Divine Alliance fleet, which lost its flagship command, could no longer organize effective resistance and was completely defeated before other Divine Alliance fleets could arrive.

Most of the Divine Alliance fleet had given up on the Weimar fleet that they originally wanted to encircle and annihilate, and surrounded the Charno fleet that had just jumped out of the subspace from all directions.  There were only two fleets, one on the left and one on the right, outflanking Weimar's fleet. It seemed that their purpose was just to contain the opponent rather than fight head-on.  Obviously, encircling and annihilating the Weimar fleet is far more fulfilling than encircling and annihilating a fleet of 10,000 starships.  The barbarians who had just separated from the starship and formed a battle formation also realized this.  The red light behind them was like a meteor entering the atmosphere, dragging a long red light trail in the starry sky.

"Your Majesty the Emperor" Li Shaojun reminded anxiously, "We should avoid the edge for the time being."

There are at least 20,000 Divine Alliance starships rushing up, or more.  Most of them are fast-moving cruisers and heavy cruisers, and behind them are bloated battleships and star aircraft carriers.

"Release the fighter plane!" Yi Lexiang ignored Li Shaojun.  My intelligence chief knows nothing about space combat. At this time, a head-on fight with the opponent is the most correct way.  Retreating will only cause the fleet formation to become scattered and it will no longer be able to gather enough firepower.  And although the opponent's courage was commendable, most of the swarms that rushed up were fast ships such as cruisers, which just gave him the opportunity to severely damage the opponent.  The cruiser's weak outer armor has the worst resistance to star fighters, and their aircraft carrier is far behind them. He can give the opponent a heavy blow before the opponent arrives.

Of course, doing so may put them under heavy siege by the enemy, but other supporting fleets will arrive soon.  The situation will naturally change by then.  The backbone of the 10,000 starships in his personal fleet come from the Ninth Fleet, which is also the force that has fought under his command for the longest time. Its combat effectiveness and fighting will are among the most elite forces in the Free Army's military establishment.  He believed that they could block the attack of the Divine Alliance people.

The fighter jet group roared and rushed towards the Shenmen fleet.  Only then did the Shenmen seem to realize that their hasty offensive move seemed inappropriate.  But at this time they are no longer allowed to stop moving forward.  In the blink of an eye, the fighter jet group rushed into the formation of the Shenmen, pouring all the ammunition on the enemy's heads.  The starry sky fighter group did not have much time to attack, and the figures of the barbarians were already vaguely visible.  They can't catch up with the fast light ships, but they are much faster than the slow-moving heavy warships.  Once the barbarians arrive, the planetary fighter's maneuverability will be gone.  No one in the starry sky is more flexible than the barbarians.

Maidment and his fleet fell behind. On the one hand, it was because his fleet was far away from the Chalnorian jump point; on the other hand, he deliberately slowed down.  An air battle involving tens of thousands of starships would never be a winner in a short period of time, so there was no need for him to be anxious.  There are many people who have the same idea as him, and he can clearly see this from the battlefield scanner.  "Fair, Gilad" He murmured to himself. These people all had the same doubts about the divine messengers and the barbarians as he did.  Although they have never communicated with each other, some things are self-evident.

"Space fluctuations have been detected! Sir." The adjutant looked at the various messages that kept jumping on the command platform with confusion.

Maidment was stunned for a moment. If he was not mistaken, most of the fleets of the Divine Alliance for this mission had already gathered.  In order to annihilate Weimar, the bandit army that has been running around in the League of Gods.  The high command mobilized a total of 30,000 starships, and the Lord God Envoy sent 100,000 barbarians.  This accounts for almost one-fifth of the entire Divine Alliance starship force.  For this reason, even the expansion of the Democratic Alliance's southern star domain has temporarily stopped.  Of course, the unexpected collapse of the Democratic Alliance was the main reason.  No matter who is faced with the sudden rise of the Charno Empire, they will be wary.

"Order the fleet to slow down!" Before Maidment finished speaking, the adjutant's low exclamation reached his ears again.

    "Another space fluctuation was discovered!"?

Maidment pressed the conversion button to convert the starry sky map into space instrument mode.  The space fluctuates one after another like a fountain, as if the entire space is boiling.  Maidment's face immediately changed color.  Since it is not their own fleet, no one in the interstellar except the Charno people can have so many jump starships.  He slapped the table in annoyance, "Take over Zamami's command immediately!"

The appearance of the Charnor fleet was too sudden, and all the commanders of the League of Gods forgot a crucial point.  Why are they here!  Maidment gasped. As they plotted against Weimar, their enemies plotted against them.  The high command's idea of ??using the time difference to annihilate the Weimar fleet was already within the opponent's expectation. It was obvious that they sent multiple support fleets to multiple locations at the same time.  Once the position of the Weimar fleet is confirmed, more enemy fleets will immediately appear in the starry sky.  Charno's ability to quickly deploy troops allowed them to quickly gather a strong enough force at a certain point.  The problem is that they can't do what Charnow can do.  Except for a few special fleets, these starships arrived in this star field after a long period of sudden navigation after the headquarters judged the breakout direction of the Weimar fleet.  If Charno's forces quickly assemble and exceed their combined strength - which is almost inevitable - the besiegers and annihilators will become the besieged and annihilated.

Commander Zamami had a stern look on his face. He had already noticed that the situation was turning against the Shen Alliance fleet.  Now their 30,000 starships surrounded Charno's 10,000 starships, but at the same time they were also surrounded by the Charno fleet.  The starships' firing stopped temporarily, but the Savage attack did not end due to the actions of their allies.  They crossed the fleet of the Divine Alliance and pounced on the 10,000 starships of the Charno people.  This irrational behavior in turn stimulated the Charno starships on the periphery, and the battle broke out again.

Maidment cursed loudly and angrily the stupidity of the barbarians, and Commander Zamami's expression in the image was not much better.  The important thing now is not the 10,000 Charno starships in the encirclement, but how to break out of the encirclement.  Originally, he had hoped to use the 10,000 starships surrounded by them to negotiate terms with the opposing commander.  Judging from the opponent's somewhat flimsy behavior, it was obvious that there was an important person on board the ten thousand starships that were surrounded.  Of course, he would never have imagined that the Emperor of the newly born Charno Empire would be surrounded by him at this moment.  However, the stupid actions of the barbarians destroyed all hopes of peace talks.

One side was anxious, and the other side was forced to fight. As soon as the battle began, the Shenmeng fleet was at a disadvantage.  The fearless resistance of the Shenmeng fleet cannot make up for the huge gap in starship technology between the two sides, especially when the strength of the two sides is almost the same, it is even more difficult to reflect the bravery of the soldiers.

When the planetary fortress belatedly appeared on the battlefield, the last desperate determination of the God League soldiers was shattered.  The location where the Charno people's planetary fortress appeared was accurately measured and it happened to be in a blind spot in their attack area.  A few minutes ago, Zamami had just considered whether this gap could be used as a direction for their breakout.  However, he was now secretly glad for his hesitation.  The huge gravitational field directly tore into pieces a thousand Divine Alliance starships defending that position.  If there were not those 100,000 barbaric warriors, there would be only two paths left for the League of Gods: surrender or be annihilated.  As the barbarians broke into the Charnor starship, a glimmer of hope rose in Zamami's heart. Although it was slim, there was always hope, wasn't it?

Lista carefully moved forward slowly along the broken and irregular bulkhead. He was a wild warrior.  To be precise, he was a Chapter Scout.  His duty is to provide his companions with adequate information.  When these black starships appeared on the battlefield, it was not just the Divine Alliance people who were shocked and frightened.  In their eyes, the omnipotent ¡®Warrior of God¡¯ also has the same sentiment.

The battle at Zuolinxing was attributed by the higher-ups to the despicable behavior of secular people.  They detonated a planet under unfavorable circumstances, and the resulting chain reaction wiped out almost all the wild warriors in that galaxy.  That battle broke the self-righteousness of the barbarians and gradually awakened them from their arrogance and arrogance.  Their enemies may be weak physically, but their minds are not slow.  They can use some other things to inflict huge casualties on the barbarians.  For example: Detonate a planet!

Lista didn¡¯t think there was anything despicable about this behavior. When they were still in that purgatory world, abandoning their comrades and escaping alone often happened, but no one had ever said that it was despicable.  Even if this behavior has undoubtedly stained the honor of a soldier.  But in the cruel environment, everyone deliberately ignored this.

¡°And Lista also happened to know that the truth of the matter was not what the higher-ups said.  One of his tribesmen was lucky enough to survive the catastrophe.  He told him that everything was a trap for worldly people.  And they also possess an amazing fighting abilityHuman mecha.  This is undoubtedly an extremely surprising and shocking statement.  Falista has always been dubious about the claims of his fellow tribesmen.  But for some reason, he remembered it at this time.

He cautiously walked slowly along the wall of the corridor. Not far behind him, he had just found twelve corpses.  It was a scouting party from another chapter, chopped to pieces by some huge weapon.  They were also the first barbarians to enter the starship.  Scouts are always the fastest among the barbarians. Of course, sometimes speed cannot solve all problems. You must have a shrewd mind and a cautious style.  In a wider corridor next door, his companions were fighting some jet-black mechas.  He had never seen that kind of mecha.  Those mechas were much smaller than the human mechas they had encountered before, and the narrow corridors did not affect their movements.  The invincible mental attacks of the Savage Warriors also have no effect on them.  When Lista saw them for the first time he knew immediately that what his fellow tribesmen had revealed to him was true.  Secular humans do possess a mecha with astonishing combat effectiveness.  In the fierce confrontation, both sides suffered casualties, but the barbarians still had the upper hand.  Their supernatural powers can blast through the solid shells of those mechas, and the fire crystal swords in their hands can also pierce their steel armor, but the long and narrow corridors also restrict their movements. They cannot fly freely in the sky like birds.  Soaring, there were always some tribesmen who had no time to dodge and were swept in two by the wide alloy blade in the mecha's hand, just like the corpses of the twelve classmates he saw.

Lista¡¯s best abilities are camouflage and invisibility, which is why he can become the leader of the scout team.  He did not move along the ground like other companions, but clung to the top of the corridor wall and slid forward like a snake.  His superpower will form a superpower surface on the surface of his body that can refract light. After a series of complex light refraction, it will bypass his body and appear behind him.  This is the fundamental principle of invisibility.  But not everyone can easily master the art of invisibility. You must have a smart mind. Calculating those refracting surfaces is a boring, tedious and time-consuming task.  The more refractive surfaces you create, the less likely you are to be detected.  The camouflage spell requires you to react quickly and be good at analysis. As the environment changes, your abilities will be transformed into a pattern that is closest to the surrounding environment. The principle is similar to the invisibility spell, except that the abilities do not constitute a refractive surface but a camouflage.  Just face.

There are several mechas lurking in the corner of the bottom deck. The wall is black. They stand quietly against the wall. You can't find them if you don't pay attention.  Lista slid forward nimbly, and he could ensure that he didn't make a sound.  But his superpower sent out a warning sign. Almost without thinking, he jumped off the top wall, and a white light grazed his body and hit the place where he was hiding just now.  It was the mecha's light particle beam gun. When the high-energy beam passed by his body, it left a deep scorch mark on his left arm.  But Lista felt no pain at all, and his heart was filled with fear and shock.  He turned and ran backwards, supernatural power boiling in his body.  He must tell his companions what he has discovered.

Those mechas shouldn¡¯t have discovered him, and he promised that he didn¡¯t reveal any flaws.  But they found him.  There was only one possibility, and Lista was filled with fear when he thought about this possibility.  Those mechas or the people who pilot them are also people with spiritual power.  This means that they are not fighting against a group of secular people, but against supernatural beings.  Only the combination of superpowers and mechas can create weapons that can compete head-on with the tribe.  But the tribesmen don¡¯t know this!

The warning signs in his heart sounded again, and Lista rolled to the side with all his strength. His head hit an exposed protrusion on the wall hard, and he immediately felt his head buzzing.  However, all this was far more frightening than the huge black blade passing over his body.  The sharp blade cutting through the air at high speed is silent and completely defies common sense of physics.  The blade drew a perfect arc from the air and then came towards him again.  He didn't know if that mecha was one of the several mechas he had discovered just now, nor did he know when he quietly appeared behind him. There was nothing but fear in his heart.  .  He was a scout of the battle group, and he was the fastest person in the entire battle group, but he was overtaken by a mecha, a thing made of machinery!  If it weren't for the mecha that was pressing behind him step by step, he would have really wanted to laugh at himself.

Chapter leader Mendoza gasped and leaned against the metal wall to calm down the blood that kept surging in his chest. He didn't know that his best scout was being chased by a mecha at the moment.  The ground was a mess, with broken mecha fragments and the remains of wild warriors. The smell of blood mixed with the smell of burnt protein filled the corridor.

"Maniel, open those mechas and take a look. I want to know who is driving the mechas."

??Maniel is one of the bravest warriors under his command, and at this moment he isHis legs were sitting in a pool of blood, and the light blue liquid seeping from the damaged mecha dyed the hem of his armor blue.  A dozen barbarians who did not participate in the battle stared warily at the other end of the empty corridor.  It seems that everywhere is full of danger. This encounter started when a barbarian had his head shattered by a high-energy warhead flying from a distance.

"I swear that no matter what is sitting in here, it must not be a human!" Manil stood up and muttered in a low voice, walked to a mecha, and reached out to pull the door of the mecha's cockpit.  "If it were a human being, how could it ooze blue" His voice stopped abruptly.

"What's wrong?" Mendoza felt something was wrong from his subordinate's sudden stop.

¡°Damn, there¡¯s nothing in these mechas!¡± Manil replied in an unbelievable voice.

Mendoza rushed to where Manil was standing like a sharp arrow, and he pushed Manil aside.  The open cockpit of the mecha was empty, as if it was grinning and laughing at him.  The moment the truth is discovered is often extremely cruel to some people.  Mendoza frantically used the fire crystal sword in his hand to cut open all the mecha cockpits. Like the one in front of him, all the mecha cockpits were empty.  He couldn't accept the cruel fact that they had paid such a high price only to find out that they were just fighting some inanimate machines.

"Should we continue to attack?" Maniel asked hesitantly.

Mendoza only wished that he had never asked Maniel to open the cockpit of the mecha. At least not seeing the truth would make them feel better.  He heard Maniel's hesitation.  His man never hesitated, not even in the worst circumstances.  But now he hesitated, because just like what he was thinking now - their sacrifice and their battle were meaningless!

"Continue the attack!" Mendoza gritted his teeth and answered his subordinates' questions word by word.  "No matter what they are, someone is manipulating them!"
