Chapter 370 The Divine Punishment of Putting Down Weapons

Rodrik looked back from time to time to pay attention to the absent-minded Gaia. He knew that this blow was too cruel to Gaia, a girl who was not yet twenty years old.  But this is the fate of divine punishment!  He also knew that Gaia had long had doubts about the temple that preached the divine decree, but the descendants of Rodrik's blood had sworn to the gods three hundred years ago to fall into darkness forever, using the sharp blades in their hands and endless  It is the fate of their family to protect the kingdom of gods by killing people.  No love, no hate, no justice, no evil, only killing and death!  The oath will not end until the blood runs out!

Rodrik suddenly felt a warning sign in his heart. He stopped his light steps and scanned all directions vigilantly.  The animals in the dense forest were silent and the leaves were rustling.  Gaia behind her seemed to feel something, and she disappeared behind the tree silently.  Rodrik made a gesture to Gaia, telling her to be careful, and slowly pulled out the golden holy sword from his waist. He gently stroked the sword body with his left hand to avoid making any noise.  The spiritual power spread out overwhelmingly, and the surrounding scenery came into Rodrik's mind. He carefully lowered himself down. He found nothing, but the sense of crisis in his heart became stronger and stronger, as if in the darkness of the forest.  There is something hidden.  At some point, the wind stopped, and the air was filled with bone-chilling coldness.

"Who is it, come out!" Rodrik shouted.

There was silence all around, no one answered.  The returning night birds gathered their wings and shivered, but Rodrik's heart sank to the bottom. They were surrounded by unknown enemies.

As the night fell and darkness enveloped the forest, the light of the golden holy sword in Rodrik's hand grew stronger and stronger.

Rodrik knew in his heart that time was not on his side.  He is on a planet densely populated by enemies, and every moment he waits may worsen his environment.  But he had no choice. He could only wait silently, waiting for the enemy to reveal their flaws, or for them to weave a tighter net to capture him.  He was a little nervous, but fearless. He had long passed the age of fearing death, and the only thing he couldn't let go of was Gaia.

He turned around and watched, Gaia was hiding under the dark trees.  Seeing Rodrik's concerned gaze, Gaia smiled. The smile was sad and beautiful, as if she wanted to show her fearlessness, but her hand tightly holding the sword at her waist revealed her fear.  Gaia's parents had died long ago, not after the enemy, but in the cruel and bloody hell training.  He once thought that little Gaia, who had been thin since childhood, would not survive, and Rodrik's bloodline would be determined from then on. In fact, this was not a blessing.  But she finally got over it.  Rodrik didn't want to take Gaia out for this operation, but when he thought of leaving her alone to face a world full of madmen and murderers, he finally couldn't help Gaia's pleading.

There was the sound of branches breaking in the jungle, and huge black ghost-like mechas appeared silently.  Rodrik let out a low, silent sigh, and the enemy was ready for everything.

He stared at those mechas that he had never seen before, as light and agile as living creatures.  He had heard about the tragedy that happened on the planet Gesar. He knew that the Charno people had built a mecha that could defeat the Golden Battle Formation head-on. It was a killer that combined humans and machines. There were at least two of them.  The Knights of the Temple were slaughtered by the opponent in a head-on confrontation.  Just like what he saw before him.

Those mechas were silent, and the dark black mechas perfectly blended into the darkness.  They are part of the darkness and seem to vaguely foreshadow where they come from.

The chill in the forest is getting stronger!

The horror of "God's Punishment" is that they wander in the darkness and harvest lives, but they are not warriors, they are assassins.  But Rodrik had an extremely weird feeling in his heart, as if the mecha in front of him was the real killer, the thing that truly sank into the darkness.  His mental power reached towards the mecha, and a bone-chilling chill enveloped his whole body. He could not feel the slightest breath of life. There was nothing in those mechas!  But the mecha was still moving. They were approaching step by step, and the huge iron palms fell to the ground silently, as if they didn't belong to this world in the first place.

For the first time, God's Heart of Punishment did not bring Rodrik fearless belief, and his firm heart was shaken.  He felt Gaia's delicate body trembling in the darkness. She was still a child. This was the first time she had experienced battle, but faced the fear of death.

The golden holy sword in Rodrik's hand slowly dropped. Under the cold gaze of the ink-black mecha, his hand holding the holy sword weakly let go of the hilt.

The sword slipped from your fingers!

Since we have fallen into darkness forever, divine punishment has no chance of glory.  So, what if it's a little more shameless?  For Gaia, for the last trace of the Rodrik family, I, Yanji Rodrik, am willing to give up all my former glory!

He raised his hands, and under the gaze of Gaia's disbelieving eyes, he revealed his shame: "I surrender.!  "

    ??¡ª¡ª

Bo Jiangang rushed into the hall with excitement on his face, "We caught the attacker!"

Yi Lexiang raised his head in surprise, "Caught?" He touched his chin with a strange expression on his face.  If God's Punishment is really the sharp blade of the League of Gods hidden in the darkness, as Vhagar said, then it seems that the "catch" shouldn't have happened.  Perhaps killing is more appropriate.

"That's right!" Bo Jiangang nodded affirmatively, "To be precise, he put down his weapon on his own initiative."

"Oh?" Yi Lexiang asked with interest, "What's going on?"

"The specific situation is not clear," Bo Jiangang replied, "but 'they' are escorting them back!"

When he mentioned "them", Bo Jiangang paused, and a trace of confusion and fear flashed in his eyes.  Yi Lexiang saw it, but he didn't want to explain more.  After all, Bo Jiangang was not a member of the Free Army, so it would be quite troublesome to explain some things.

He got up and walked outside.

Until Yi Lexiang's figure disappeared around the corner, Bo Jian just woke up from his meditation.  A few hours ago, he witnessed a miraculous scene, groups of mechas, and he watched them being sealed in an empty warehouse before Yi Lexiang entered!

" Then Yi Lexiang entered the warehouse alone. Soon after, the "resurrected" mecha jumped into the gradually dimming twilight and into the lush dense forest.

There is no one among those mechas!  He can be sure!  Xin Qiang led the War God Group to clear out all living creatures within a three-kilometer radius, even the birds were not spared.  Therefore, he can be sure that the strange scene on Planet Gesar has happened again.

Yi Lexiang explained that this is a way of using spiritual power.  But he saw doubts on Xin Qiang's face, and he knew that this was just Yi Lexiang's excuse to deal with him.  But he wasn't sure!  After all, this is not the first time Yi Lexiang has staged a miraculous scene. As early as that one-man battle on the planet Minsk, Yi Lexiang had manipulated countless space mines to defeat the Imperial Star Fleet in one fell swoop.  But operating a mecha and operating a space mine are completely different things. Those mechas are as dexterous as if they were piloted.  If he hadn't read the battlefield records of Planet Gesar, maybe he would really believe Yi Lexiang's excuse.  But now he knows that the truth is not as simple as Yi Lexiang said.  He secretly checked the storage records and found that those mechas did not have energy batteries installed at all.

Bo Jiangang took a deep breath, everything was beyond the scope of what normal people could understand¡ª¡ª

The bright spotlights illuminated the hall as if it were daytime. It was empty and looked like a warehouse that had been vacant for a long time.  The top of the wall is very high from the ground, and those mechas have no difficulty standing in it.  Rodrik looked around. His hands were handcuffed together by handcuffs specially used to imprison people with powers. Gaia stood behind him, giving him normal treatment.

After a while, surrounded by several tough soldiers, the target walked into the hall.  He walked straight up to Rodrik and asked, "Why?" His question was straightforward.

    Rodrik didn¡¯t answer.

Yi Lexiang cast his gaze behind Rodrik and nodded suddenly, "Who is she to you? It should be because of her, right?"

There was a hint of shame and anger on Gaia's face. She didn't hate this Charno man.  But after all, he was the one who killed the person closest to her!

Gaia¡¯s eyes fell on Rodrik¡¯s gray hair, and her grandfather, a divine punishment!  For her humiliating surrender to the enemy.  She looked coldly past Rodrik and landed on the man's face. The man was unexpectedly young, much younger than she had imagined. He had an ordinary appearance and a thin body, with a faint smile on his face.  The smile was kind and gentle, exuding a sincerity she had never seen before.

Is this the person the temple is determined to kill even to death?  Gaia secretly wondered in her heart that during the previous assassination, she had not had time to take a closer look at the target's appearance.  He stood there casually, without the majesty of a superior or the rigor of a soldier. He looked more like chatting with friends than interrogating a prisoner.  It was hard to imagine that such a young man, not much older than her, could be the helmsman of an ancient empire.

She had read the information about this general provided by the temple. This general rose like a comet and achieved a series of incredible victories. Several star generals were hated on the battlefield because of him, and it was precisely because of his existence.  Only then was this ancient dying country able to regain its vitality.  She had always thought that he was a brave and decisive hero, as majestic and unsmiling as the legendary interstellar general, but the person in front of her gave her a different feeling.

Yi Lexiang stroked his chin habitually, and his eyes kept glancing back and forth between Rodrik and Gaia, thoughtfully.

Those weird mechas were silent and stood silently, as if they were in a room full of mechas. In the warehouse, those mechas are just reserves in storage.  But Rodrik knew that as long as he made the slightest move, the mechas would immediately kill him on the spot without mercy.
