    Chapter 235 Good Place 2

The place Liu Yun took me to was even more remote than the Liu family¡¯s manor. After entering through an iron gate, there were no lights on both sides of the long winding road.  The surroundings were unusually quiet in the dark, which made me think that this was a perfect place to kill and sell goods.

¡°I don¡¯t need the wisdom of the God of War to see that Liu Yun probably can¡¯t hit me with even one hand.  This kind of person would not want to get into danger, and he certainly doesn't have any strong ill intentions towards me - or if he does, he hides it.

The place we are in looks like a forest area that has been used for other purposes, except that there is a driving road in the middle.  I already knew the map of the capital, but unfortunately none of the maps I had seen showed what was there.

¡°A little bit uneasy, I¡¯m afraid of trouble.

Liu Yun seemed to notice my slight uneasiness, and explained with a smile: "This land was purchased at the highest market price at the time. It was a normal procedure." The implication was of course that the Liu family did not use their privileges.  This subconscious boasting, of course, also expresses Liu Yun's attitude, which is rare among Hanzhong officials with official status.

"Uncle Thirteen really shouldn't be an official." Liu Yangyang muttered, "He still likes an exciting life."

I chuckled. Although the Liu family is mostly conservative, their adventurous spirit is still very strong. Otherwise, they would not be the first among the six major families to contact me.  The thirteenth uncle looked not much older than Liu Yangyang, with a calm face and a look that was difficult to see through.  It seems that being an official is still very helpful for cultivating one's character.

Not long after, the car stopped in an open space, and I saw a huge and crude warehouse standing in front of me. I opened my mouth in surprise, and then looked back at Liu Yangyang.

¡°I really didn¡¯t know that your family is actually engaged in the warehousing industry?¡±

Liu Yun coughed dryly, covering up the embarrassment on Liu Yangyang's face.  I nodded knowingly, understanding that this warehouse just looked like a warehouse, just like many officials of the Wanderers Association looked like officials, but in fact they were still arrogant loners.

Pushing open the old and heavy door, I was surprised to realize that it would take about ten people to open this metal door. The rusty smell of the metal door was really unpleasant in the dry air, but I looked at Liu Yun's face.  He calmly opened the door and estimated in his mind how powerful this official of the press censorship agency was.

Liu Yun, of course, knew that I was observing him. He opened the door and smiled sheepishly: "Hey, you're showing offthe most popular expert in the capital right now is you."

I sighed in my heart, it¡¯s hard to say whether I can beat Ai Xue now, she¡¯s still a master.  The real masters of the Wanderer Association are well hidden. In the peaceful and prosperous times, everyone is busy with their own affairs and has no time to pay attention to me, a clown.

Liu Yangyang stopped nagging now and instead walked in front: "Come on, it's not a nice place, but it's a beautiful sight in the capital."

This huge warehouse is filled with various metal shelves, and the shelves are almost empty.  A stale smell permeated the air. Except for a few glass windows on the roof, the rest was surrounded by sealed structures. It looked like an extremely stuffy place.

When I walk in such an environment, I always feel that the smell is a bit strange. There seems to be a subtle smell floating in this stale air.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked Althea in my heart.

"The taste of human beings." Althea said lightly.

    "What?"

No need to ask Althea, I will know the answer soon.

The old frame-type freight elevator at the end of the warehouse took us creaking down several floors. The damp blue-gray stone walls continued through the elevator grid like a poor ink painting. Of course, when the freight elevator finally dropped  I finally understood where the word ¡°business¡± comes from.

??The basement of the warehouse in this desolate suburb turned out to be a lively gathering place.  The scale is much larger than the private banquet halls in Guijing, and the people are also mixed. Men and women in various costumes have blurred eyes, with a hint of fanaticism.

Guarding the entrance to the freight elevator were two fat men with sinister faces, each holding a crossbow and scanning everyone around the entrance with piercing eyes.  Seeing Liu Yun and Liu Yangyang, these two fat men with arrogant faces immediately smiled brightly, which shows that acting is not just for beauties.  I followed Liu Yun and already knew where this place was without having to guess.

Many people in the entrance hall were talking in low voices. These people had a sense of collective hysteria like a secret gathering. Everyone spoke loudly, with mysterious expectations on their faces, so that I could hear the content of their conversations without listening carefully.  .

"No. 19 is really good, but it's a pity that today's terrain is not suitable for his light body."sp; I noticed that Liu Yun was careful not to use the word "gods". It seems that he is still a conservative enthusiast.

This is also normal. The children of the aristocratic family do not want the war to break out. Even though they have been instilled with countless senses of worry since childhood, they still feel that the life they live above others is the best, and they do not want any large-scale collapse to occur.

Our conversation did not continue. There were very frequent underground boxing matches, so it was time to watch the show.  I asked Liu Yangyang if I could place a bet. Liu Yangyang looked at me with a strange look in his eyes: "Is the money burning your hand?"

    ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????Out Out of

Seeing my insistent expression, Liu Yangyang patted his head: "I really lost to you. You don't lack in adventurous spirit at all."

I chuckled, took the VIP card I just got, and went to place bets with Liu Yangyang.  .
