Wang Ding smiled a little strangely:

"No, Mr. Minister, we are not going to hide in the embassy. This will damage our reputation. We have decided to discuss the surrender with the mayor of Belgrade.¥ì&spades˼&hearts·&clubs¿Í¥ì"

Minister Zester is very disdainful. Hiding in the embassy will damage his reputation. Is surrender a glorious thing?  He endured the unhappiness in his heart and said: "Okay, Major, although I feel a little sorry that you don't want to stay in the embassy, ??but if you decide to surrender to the Yugoslavs"

"No, Mr. Minister, I think you are mistaken." Wang Ding interrupted Minister Zanst with a smile: "I mean, Belgrade surrendered to us."

"What? Major, what did you say there?" Minister Zester strongly believed that he heard wrongly.

Wang Ding said patiently: "Now that we are here, Belgrade has no other choice but to surrender."

Crazy, this person is completely crazy.

Not only Minister Zangst, but also the German soldiers brought by Wang Ding all thought so.  Of course, Wang Ding's good friend Klingenberg had a smile of approval on his face, as if everything Wang Ding said was exactly what he was thinking.

"Major, I know you are very courageous." Minister Zester calmed down: "But there are thousands of armed soldiers and 200,000 citizens here. Do you think that seven people can force  Are they surrendering? Major, there is a certain difference between courage and madness."

"Sometimes courage and madness are the same." Wang Ding did not find this surprising: "We are here, we are victorious, Belgrade surrendered, it is that simple. Mr. Minister, for our victory, please  Help us arrange a meeting with Mr. Mayor of Belgrade¡±

Wang Ding¡¯s men were no less surprised than the minister. They thought their commander was probably crazy.  First of all, the radios in their hands were malfunctioning and could only receive but not send. Secondly, they were far away from the main force. They could not have received any reinforcements in a short period of time, but in this situation  , but their commander wants an enemy thousands and tens of thousands of times stronger than himself to surrender to a mere seven people?

Although he thought the commander was crazy, Minister Zester decided to grant the madman's wish.

When arranging a meeting with the Mayor of Belgrade, Wang Ding asked for the radio station in the embassy and sent a telegram to General Hauser of the Imperial Division.  In the telegram, Wang Ding told the general that they had successfully advanced into Belgrade and were trying to control the city.

    2nd SS Imperial Division Headquarters.

"Is there no news about Wang Ding yet?" General Hauser's face was ashen.

It has been two days since Wang Ding's reconnaissance team lost contact, and now General Hauser had to prepare for the worst.  God, the son of the Chinese President is missing and may even have been killed in the war. He really doesn¡¯t know how to explain it to Berlin.

China has officially entered the war, and now Germany needs China. At this time, if the son of the Chinese president unfortunately dies in the war, then maybe the situation will take a terrible turn.  Thinking of this, General Hauser felt a headache.

"General, the telegram from the Belgrade Embassy belongs to Major Wang Ding!"

This sentence immediately made General Hauser ecstatic, Wang Ding!  Wang Ding!  Wang Ding finally has news.  But then his face darkened again, and he said with suspicion: "Wang Ding? Why did he appear in Belgrade? No, there are only a few of him? How could he enter the embassy in Belgrade? What did the telegram say? Read it?  !¡±

"The telegram said that they broke through all the Yugoslav outposts, successfully entered the Belgrade Legation, and got in touch with Minister Albert von Zangster. They are now trying to control the city. Please send our division to the Belgrade Legation as soon as possible.  Advance to Belgrade, the defenses there are very weak and we can reach it easily!¡±

"A scam, this is a scam!" General Hauser said angrily: "Do the Yugoslavs think that with such a fake telegram, they can fool me? And then successfully ambush us on the road?"

"How did they know about Wang Ding?"

This is what General Hauser is most worried about!

The general hesitated for a while, and then said softly: "Maybe Wang Ding has been captured."

    Belgrade, April 12th, 6 pm.

The mayor of Belgrade, Djodzic, appeared at the German embassy. He had heard that Germans had entered the city before, which surprised the mayor.

The Major Wang Ding, who appeared in front of him with an Oriental face and a German SS uniform, said: "Mr. Mayor, the German army has entered the city, and now we ask you to surrender!"

"Surrender!" Djojic was startled: "No, we will never surrender!"

"Mr. Mayor!" Wang Ding was not in a hurry: "We have come with a large number of troops, at least three armored divisions. We are the vanguard of these three SS armored divisions. I ask Mr. Mayor to pass his request as soon as possible.  The radio he carries orders all troops inside and outside the city to stop resisting. If they don't, the Luftwaffe will wipe out the entire city tonight. I'm not here to scare you, Mr. Mayor. Tonight's air raid will be followed by  When artillery, tanks and infantry launch an all-out attack tomorrow morning, it will be difficult to save every plant and tree in the city. For the safety of Belgrade and the lives and property of the citizens, please make the decision to surrender as soon as possible!"

Mayor Djodzic¡¯s body trembled, and the bodies of his entourage also trembled.

A large number of German armored forces, a large number of artillery attacks!  God, was Belgrade, a city with so much history, about to face a horrific artillery attack from the Germans?

"I, I have to discuss it." Mayor Djojic said trying to control his fear.

"Okay." Wang Ding nodded: "Our final surrender time is before 12 o'clock tonight. If it passes 12 o'clock, I will call for artillery bombardment!"

"I will, I will try my best to respond as quickly as possible." Faced with Wang Ding's threat, Mayor Djodzic was completely confused.

Wang Ding politely sent Mayor Djodzic and his entourage out of the embassy. At this moment, three German reconnaissance planes suddenly passed over the city.

Wang Ding immediately pointed to the air and said: "Mr. Mayor, our bombers are already here, but please don't worry, without my order, this city will not be bombed before 12 o'clock tonight. Of course, there is time left for you."  It¡¯s become less and less.¡±

    Mayor Djodzic left in despair

Wang Ding immediately turned around and asked, "Has General Hauser called back?"

"No!" Klingenberg shook his head in frustration.

"It seems that the general does not believe that you have really come to Belgrade." At this time, after witnessing what Wang Ding did, Minister Zangster was also full of confidence: "Let me personally talk to the general about the power.  I will convince the general that it is all true."

As he spoke, he muttered again: "Oh my god, are there really only seven of you?"

After a brief discussion with the frightened Mayor Djodzic, the soldiers and militiamen in Belgrade agreed to lay down their weapons in exchange for a ceasefire from the Germans.

Yugoslav soldiers gathered in the city center square to disarm.  These prisoners totaled about 1,300 people, plus the 200,000 civilians in the city. They all became spoils of war for this small team of only seven people.

Before the Slavs arrived around 630 AD, the Belgrade area had been conquered by the Huns, Sarmatians, Ostrogoths and Avars.  The first mention of Slavonic was in 878 AD during the reign of the First Bulgarian Empire.

For nearly four centuries, the region was in a state of war between the Byzantine Empire, the Kingdom of Hungary, and the First Bulgarian Empire.

??Eventually, it became part of the Kingdom of Srem in 1284.  King Laszlo IV of Hungary gave Belgrade as a gift to his son-in-law, King Stefan Dragutin of the Kingdom of Srem, so he became the first Serbian monarch to rule the city!

During World War I, a monitoring ship of the Austro-Hungarian Navy bombarded Belgrade on July 29, 1914.

On November 30 of the same year, the Austro-Hungarian Army occupied Belgrade under the command of General Oscar Potiorek.  But shortly afterwards on December 15th, it was recaptured by the Serbian army led by Marshal Radomir Putnik.

On October 9, 1915, after a battle that lasted several days, Belgrade was occupied by the German Army and the Austro-Hungarian Army commanded by Field Marshal August von Mackensen. The city suffered huge damage.

On November 5, 1918, the French Army and the Serbian Army led by French Marshal Louis Franchet Desprey and King Alexander I of Yugoslavia liberated Belgrade.  After the war, Belgrade became the capital of the new Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

This city with a long history that has experienced numerous artillery fires and wars has now fallen into the hands of a Chinese and six Germans.

This is a scene of great irony, and it is also the most magical scene, and the name of the person who created this miracle is Wang Ding.

A small tragedy in the great tragedy of the fall of the capital was staged. After learning that he had actually been fooled by several German soldiers, Mayor Djodzic, who announced the surrender of Belgrade, shot himself!
