    Chapter 22

    Australia Road, Xinao City.

While Du Rui was planning to conquer Egypt in the west and open up territory for the Tang Dynasty, far away in Australia, Du Rui's disciple Di Renjie and his fourth son Du Xuewu were also experiencing the first major twists and turns in their lives.

Since the ninth year of Yonghui, the rebellion of the Australian Dao was quelled by Du Rui with both grace and force, the Tang Dynasty continued its immigration policy. By the first year of Hongwu, the number of Tang people in the Australian Dao had exceeded 500,000.

For more than a year, Australian Governor Di Renjie also implemented Du Rui's gentle policy and tried his best to appease the Australian indigenous people. The two sides were in peace, and development and construction in various parts of Australia were also proceeding in an orderly manner.

If everything could continue like this stably, Australia would not be far away from leaving the wilderness and moving toward civilization. However, God did not fulfill his wishes. In the ten years of Yonghui, harvests in various parts of Australia failed, and the life of immigrants from the Tang Dynasty suddenly became difficult.  .

¡°If that¡¯s all, that¡¯s it. There are many animals living on the roads in Australia, and there are so many wild fruits that can be used as food to tide over the difficulties.

But I am afraid that people with ulterior motives will take advantage of the situation. The Haggarda tribe is a large ethnic group second only to the Geluo tribe. In terms of strength, it is naturally insignificant in front of the Tang army. However, the young leader of the Haggarda tribe is  Seize the opportunity during this food shortage.

Ou Weng, the young chief of the Haggada tribe, has always admired Luna, the eldest daughter of Chief Geluo. Before the Tang Dynasty immigrated to Australia, he had come to propose marriage several times. Unfortunately, Chief Geluo regarded his only daughter as the apple of his eye.  He refused to allow others, and most importantly, if his only daughter married Ou Weng, whether he had a son or not, the Geluo tribe would inevitably be annexed by the Hagda tribe. This was something the chief of the Geluo tribe absolutely did not want.  Allowed.

Later, the Australian natives and immigrants jointly launched a rebellion, and Du Rui personally led the army. After the rebellion was put down, Ou Weng's goddess Luna also became the wife of Di Renjie, a Han official, which made Ou Weng furious.

Taking advantage of this food shortage, Ou Weng seized the opportunity and united several tribes who were dissatisfied with the Tang people to join forces. For a time, the Australian continent was once again plunged into war.

Ou Weng is tall and strong. He is in his early thirties. His dark and shiny muscles are almost like splitting. His long hair is hanging freely, his bones are quite thick, and his eyebrows are full of courage.

"My friend, it looks like we will win soon, all thanks to you! Although you are the same as those outsiders, coming from an evil country, you are different. You are our Hag  Tatsube¡¯s true friend!¡±

The war has been going well recently. The native rebels have swept across Northern Austria and Central Australia. Their power is constantly expanding and has reached 50,000 people.

What excites Ou Weng the most is that he also received reinforcements. Although they came from the outside world, they seemed to have the same roots as them. All this was thanks to his military advisor, a young man from the Tang Dynasty.

"As long as Xinao City is conquered, the entire Australian Road will be in your possession. By then you will become the king of Australia. Please don't forget what you promised me!"

The face of the young man from Tang Dynasty was very cold, and his eyes were full of hatred. This man was Feng Bao, Feng Yi's eldest son. Du Rui probably didn't expect that in his first thought, he took into account the relationship between master and disciple with Feng Yi.  He spared Feng Bao's life, but now he has become a disaster.

Feng Bao hated Du Rui, and his heart was full of hatred. Du Rui killed his father, and his mother also died in sorrow and depression after Du Rui left. This made his hatred for Du Rui even more intense.  It has reached a point where it is difficult to suppress.

He wanted revenge, revenge against Du Rui. Since the day his mother died, revenge has become his only goal in life. Now the opportunity came. He first found out that the young patriarch of the Haggada tribe and Di Renjie had an affair with each other.  After the great grain shortage came, he followed the dissatisfaction of the natives and encouraged Ou Weng to raise troops to rebel.

As for the overseas reinforcements, this was thanks to the nautical chart given by Du Rui when Feng Yi was called to Australia, which allowed Feng Bao to know that there is a huge island at the northeastern end of the Australian continent.  , which was labeled New Zealand by Du Rui.

When Du Rui gave the chart to Feng Yi, he wanted to allow him to establish a foothold in the Australian continent and then expand further. Unfortunately, the Australian continent was too barren and was simply not enough to support the army for further conquests.  This delay has prevented New Zealand from being disturbed by the outside world and allowed the local natives to continue to enjoy relative peace.

When Feng Bao proposed to Ou Weng, Ou Weng was also dubious, but since there are still Tang people in this world, maybe New Zealand also exists.

Ou Weng just had a try attitude and sent people out to sea to seek reinforcements, but he did not expect to get a response from the Maori people. Not long after, an army of 100,000 sailed across the sea, suddenly overwhelming the native rebels.  The power has greatly increased.

Maori are the indigenous people living on the island of New Zealand. In their original history, the first time the outside world came into contact with them was when the British invaded New Zealand in the early 19th century. At that time, there were about 400,000 Maori people on the island of New Zealand.  , divided into 50 tribes, with tribal alliances, the social system also began to disintegrate from the primitive commune, and class differentiation was obvious. The society was based on patriarchal large family communes, and some began to transition to extended families.

The Maori people adopt the Hawaiian-style kinship system, that is, uncles are called the same as their biological fathers, uncles and aunts are called the same as their biological mothers, and nephews and children are called the same.

Maori people mainly focus on agriculture and practice primitive slash-and-burn farming. Some people are engaged in fishing, hunting and gathering, and their handicraft industry is very developed.  During the colonial period, it was massacred by the British and its population dropped sharply.

Until New Zealand¡¯s independence in 1907, national rights were respected and the population gradually rebounded.  Later generations of Maori have accepted the influence of the British New Zealanders, and social, economic and cultural changes have occurred. Many people have entered the city as hired workers. Tribal boundaries have been broken. National consciousness has begun to form, and national culture has been revived and developed.

According to mythological records passed down by the Maori population orally, the Maori migrated here on rafts from the legendary Hawaki in the central Pacific in about 1,000 BC and settled there. After that, with the arrival of a large fleet, migration began  **, and this mythical place is usually considered to be the island of Tahiti.

Maori people pay attention to kinship. Members of each tribe recognize a common ancestor, which can be traced back to one or both parents, and are loyal to one or several chiefs.  Traditionally, the most important social groups in daily life were the Hapu, which was the basic land-owning group and the group within which intermarriage was preferred, and the Huanao, the extended family.  They attach great importance to moments when clan members get together, such as funerals. Family members who are scattered all over the world cherish the rare moments of meeting and always take the opportunity to return to their hometown.  Legend has it that once Maori die, they will reunite with their ancestors and use the power they bestow upon them to bestow spiritual strength and guidance on their descendants.

Maori people attach great importance to their heirlooms, such as scepters and green jade necklaces, believing that they contain the spiritual energy of their ancestors.  They will pass these family heirlooms on to future generations.

When the first European, Tasman, arrived on the coast of New Zealand in 1642, he fought with a Maori tribe in the South Island and left the area largely unexplored.  In 1769, Captain Cork sailed around the two main islands in the north and south and wrote a report on the situation of the Maori and New Zealand's suitability for colonization.

Later, whale and seal hunters and other Europeans seeking huge profits were first welcomed by Maori here.  With the introduction of muskets, disease, Western agricultural methods, and missionaries, the Maori culture and social fabric began to disintegrate.  By the late 1830s, New Zealand had established links with Europe, and many European immigrants came here.

It was not until the early 19th century, with the arrival of the British, that the Maori people became known to the outside world. They began to trade with Europeans, exchanging guns, clothes and many advanced Western technologies.  White people also began to buy land from the Maori people and clear the land for cultivation.  By 1840, two hundred Maori leaders signed the Treaty of Waitangi with the British government. From then on, New Zealand legally became one of the colonies of the British Empire.  But Westerners also brought many diseases, because Maori had no immunity to these diseases, and many people died within five days when they caught a cold.

After the British officially annexed New Zealand in 1840, European colonization and rule began to frighten the Maori people, especially in the North Island.  In 1845, some Maori chiefs began to plunder the Bay of Islands and other extreme northern areas. They were not suppressed until 1847 by the colonial army led by Governor Sir Gray.  His victory brought a period of peace.

However, from the 1860s to the 1870s, many Maori felt the threat and aggression of Western imperialism, and they were unwilling to continue selling land to the British government. Several tribes were located south of Auckland.  The Waikato region united to form their own kingdom and rebelled against the British colonial government, sparking a decade of New Zealand Land Wars.

Unlike the natives in other areas who are lazy and live a comfortable life, the Maori have a very strong sense of resistance. When they realized that the arrival of the British could only bring them endless disasters, they chose to resist. Of course,  The advanced guns and cannons of the West easily outmatched the Maori stone culture.

The King Movement was a Maori response to growing threats to their land.  In 1857, several tribes in the Waikato region of the North Island elected Te Weerowero as king, known as Potatao I.

The Maori people hope to have a king of their own, just like the BritishQueen Victoria, in general, hoped to stop the loss of tribesmen and strengthen tribal unity. However, the immigration government did not agree with this movement, and subsequent laws passed caused many violent conflicts. These wars are commonly known as the Maori Land Wars or Waika.  During the Agrarian War, the Maori tried to communicate with the Queen of England and seek compensation, but all their efforts received no response.  The wildfires that burned down their homes have not yet been extinguished, but the Maori battlefield continues to expand outwards.

In addition to electing a king, they established political councils, a judicial system and a police force, all to support Maori's determination to retain their land and prevent inter-tribal warfare over the dispute.

Although not all Maori recognize the king's authority, the vast majority agree with the king's movement's decision to refuse to sell the land.

As of 1860, Maori still occupied most of the land in the North Island, but as the number of immigrants increased significantly, the government needed to purchase more land, but many Maori were determined not to sell their land.

In 1859, Te Terra, a Maori in the Taranaki area, sold his land on the Waitara River to the colonial government without the consent of his tribe, which triggered the first Taranaki War.  Only the extremist wing of the King's Movement participated in the war.

The First Taranaki War was essentially a series of largely successful British sieges of fortified Maori villages and militia digging tunnels.

A British attack on the village of Puquita Kaur in June 1860 failed because of a sudden Maori counterattack.  But the Maori were defeated at Orongome in October and at Mahoetahi in November.

A truce was reached after the surrender of the Tiarei village in late March 1861, and the Maori continued to stay on the Tatalemakan land occupied by the Europeans.

When the local Maori people were engaged in armed struggle, King Potatao I of the Maori Kingdom compromised with the British government and refused to support it, and prohibited other regions from supporting it.  In 1861, the Taranaki Uprising was suppressed.

Soon, King Potatao I died, and his son Potatao II succeeded to the throne and negotiated with the British government to recognize the kingdom.  In June 1862, Potatao II declared independence and was no longer subject to British law and the jurisdiction of the British royal family, and prohibited the sale and lease of land.

In May 1863, the British colonial troops in the Taranaki area deliberately provoked the war, and the war broke out again and quickly spread to both sides of the Waikato River.  The British colonial authorities transferred regular troops from the mainland and recruited local British immigrants to strengthen their military strength.  With superior numbers and equipment, the British colonial army captured Ngaruaua, the capital of the Kingdom, in December of the same year, and went deep into the interior to engage in hand-to-hand combat with the Maori.  During the defense of Orakao in March 1864, the Maori heroically stopped the British advance.

During this period, the British colonial authorities seized Maori land everywhere, which further aroused resistance from various Maori tribes.  At this time, Te Ua, a Taranaki man, founded the Pai-Marire religion, which blended the ancient beliefs of the Maori people with the teachings of Judaism and Christianity. It preached that chanting incantations can be protected by gods and become invulnerable.

When Maori are fighting, they shout "Ho! Hao!", so it is also called "haohaoism".  The Pai-Marile religion was widely spread, and its believers fought bravely in the battle against the British colonists, but suffered heavy casualties.

In April 1863, Governor Gray built an offensive road into the Waikato region and expelled the Taranaki Maori from Tataleemaka District, and the Second Taranaki War broke out again.

At the same time, the Waikato War also began in July 1863, and the Waikato River area in the center of each tribe became the main target of the Europeans.  The war again besieged Maori villages, but the Maoris also began to adopt guerrilla tactics.  The British troops were assisted by gunboats and forest rangers composed of colonial volunteers.

In October and November 1863, the Europeans won major victories at Mirimiri and Longiriri respectively.  Some Maori rebels used trench warfare tactics for the first time.  After the British colonial government troops bombed with artillery, they thought they had won and moved forward. In fact, the Maori rebels were already hiding under the trenches, waiting for the British troops to arrive.  Within ten minutes a hundred white men were killed.  Since then, they have repeatedly defeated the well-armed British colonial troops.  However, due to the disparity in power and lack of unity among the tribes, the uprising was suppressed.  In early April 1864, with the fall of Orakao Village, the Waikato War basically ended.

The last war, known to Europeans as the Fire in the Fern and to Maori as the White Wrath, lasted from 1864 to 1872.  Hostilities extended to virtually all of the North Island, and by the mid-1860s the main Maori combatants were fanatical haha ??warriors.

In 1864, the British government intended to conclude a peace treaty, but the colonial governments, hoping to obtain more land, continued and expanded the war.  In July 1865 Gray captured the village of Velolo south of Taranaki.  Europeans and the Maori who supported themThe troops stopped every new move by the hostile tribes.

In May 1865, the colonial authorities, who felt that the war could not be ended in a short period of time, were forced to recognize the Maori Kingdom and sign a peace treaty.  But at that time, the kingdom's jurisdiction was limited to the Waikato area, and fighting continued in other areas.

In 1868, two teams led by Titokowaru and Tekuti Richrange adopted guerrilla tactics to lure the British colonists deep into the forest and annihilate them, putting the British colonial authorities in a difficult position.  However, due to the lack of support from the kingdom's nobles, Titokovaru and Tekuti Richrange failed in 1870 and 1872 respectively.

All fighting ended in 1872, with large areas of Maori land confiscated and Maori society permanently disintegrated.  Supporters of the King's Movement retreated to King's Land in the central west of the North Island.  The area was closed to Europeans until 1881 and was still controlled by Maori until it was ceded to the government in 1881.

Although the uprising was suppressed, it also forced the colonial authorities to make certain concessions. Two seats each in the New Zealand House of Representatives were designated as representatives of the Maori tribes Waikato and Manyapoto. British officials and land surveyors also  They are not allowed to enter the territories of these two tribes.

The Maori, who were still under the primitive social system, relied on their crude weapons to defeat the British, who had initially completed the industrial revolution and controlled powerful ships and cannons, until they had to compromise. It must be said that the Maori are really born warriors.

While Maori are warriors, they are also natural artists, especially unique in music and dance.  Learn the melody and harmony of hymns from missionaries, and then use them skillfully to develop into the bright and pleasant music of Maori people.  Maori song and dance, which is similar to Hawaiian hula, is not only performed with Maori music in Rotorua, but is also a major part of New Zealand's festivals.

In addition to music and dance, in terms of art, wood carvings also express the cultural characteristics of Maori. Whether it is the carvings on canoes, the carvings at the entrance to the fortress village, the carvings in front of and around the gathering place, etc., they all fully demonstrate the Maori people's will  The art of sculpture is integrated into daily life.

The early Maori people did not have writing. They recorded history through oral traditions and carving marks on wood, thus forming unique Maori wood carvings.

There is an ancient legend about Maori wood carvings. Rua is the ancestor of the Maori people.  One day, his beloved son was kidnapped by a group of demons under the sea.  The demons used sorcery to turn the son of Rua into wood and erected it as a decoration in front of the devil's cave.  Rua Xunzi came and walked into the cave door, and found that there were wooden sculptures neatly arranged on the wall. These wooden sculptures actually talked to each other.

In the dark night, all the demons were fast asleep. Rua covered all the light-transmitting doors and windows in the cave, making the cave dark.  It was daybreak, but the demons were still sleeping soundly.  At this time, Rua quickly removed all the coverings, and the strong sunlight penetrated the doors and windows and shone directly into the cave. The demons suddenly became dizzy and ran away with their heads in their hands.

Rua took advantage of the situation and picked up the stone stick, beat the devil, rescued his beloved son, and returned in triumph, taking back some wooden statues with him.  They became the origin of Maori wood carving art.

Maori wood carving skills are outstanding, and their stone carving skills are also good.  The most famous are the tiki statues carved into New Zealand greenstone, which is considered a talisman by Maori culture.

Maori people are also very hospitable, and their way of welcoming guests is also very special.  There was a family-style welcome ceremony. At the beginning, the venue was silent.  Men and women lined up neatly on both sides. After a long silence, a middle-aged man with bare arms and bare feet suddenly walked out. First he shouted loudly, and then he sang loudly.  As soon as the song ended, the young girls danced gracefully, and the people around them sang along in low voices.  After the singing and dancing stopped, they came over one by one and performed the "nose-to-nose salute" with the guests. They touched each other three times nose to nose, and the welcome party entered its climax.  There is also a challenging welcome ceremony, in which the greeters are all dressed in ethnic costumes. The leader is shirtless and barefoot, wearing a grass skirt, with facial makeup on his face, holding a spear, shouting, waving to the guests, and sticking out his tongue from time to time.  When approaching a guest, throw a sword or green leafy branch on the ground.  At this time, the guest must pick it up and hold it respectfully until the other party has finished dancing, and then return it with both hands.  This is the oldest welcome ceremony and the most solemn.

Of course, the Maori also have a very cruel side. They are world-famous cannibals. When a war breaks out between tribes, not only the captives will be eaten, but also the wounded soldiers of the tribe.

Feng Bao only knew something about the Maori indigenous people of New Zealand from some manuscripts about Oceania that Du Rui gave Feng Yi. Sure enough, when Ou Weng followed Feng Bao's instructions, he sent people to New Zealand Island and found the Maori people after crying and complaining.  , the Maori, with a strong sense of justice, immediately decided to send all their warriors to form a coalition to help the Australian natives win freedom.

At the beginning, Ou Weng didn¡¯t have high expectations, because according to Feng Bao¡¯s description, the so-called New Zealand Island was too small, with an area the same as Australia.Compared with other continents, they were insignificant, but when he saw the 100,000 Maori warriors coming across the sea for the first time, he was simply stunned by what he saw and was also stunned with joy.

The rebellion of the natives in mainland Australia is raging. Di Renjie and Du Xuewu in Xinao City are also very busy at this time. The native rebels have swept across the central and southern parts of Australia Road, covering all the villages and fortresses of the Tang Dynasty.  Turned into ashes, Di Renjie was also worried about the urgent documents sent from all over the world these days.

Du Rui handed over the Australian Road to him, but he failed to protect the Australia that his mentor gave him. This made Di Renjie very guilty. What made him heartbroken most was the tragic killing of those immigrants from the Tang Dynasty.

    "Senior brother!"

Du Xuewu hurriedly walked in with a worried look on his face. Although he was only a teenager and his brothers and sisters were still in Chang'an City, he had to face everything alone in a strange place like Australia.  Difficulties and obstacles.

Di Renjie looked up and saw that Du Xuewu had arrived, and a smile appeared on his face. He knew that his junior brother was working very hard. He had done a lot of work in Australia over the past year, but in Di Renjie's view, Du Xuewu's  My heart is good, but I am too impatient.

The reason why the native rebels are so powerful today is that the so-called public opinion reform carried out by Du Xuewu must bear most of the responsibility. If Du Xuewu had not hurriedly carried out the so-called universal suffrage to let the natives choose officials from various places, it would only be a large number of original  The native chiefs have too much power, and the situation will not be so corrupt.

As soon as Ou Weng started an incident, countless native tribes were immediately coerced into it and participated. However, the Tang army's troops were too scattered, and as a result, they were easily defeated by the natives one by one. Up to now, in the Beiao region,  The number of Tang troops that could still be assembled was no more than 20,000.

    "Zhongfu! You are here!"

Di Renjie couldn't blame Du Xuewu. He knew that Du Xuewu's reforms were supported by Du Rui, and Du Xuewu had a good heart. He wanted to test his political strategy in Australia, but it was a pity that he was too hasty.

Du Xuewu also knows his mistakes, but now is not the time to review. The most important thing now is to stick to Beiao and stabilize the situation. Otherwise, once Beiao is not protected, the power of the Tang Dynasty will be completely eliminated from Australia.

"Brother! I just came to report that the native rebels have been assembled and are heading towards the Be'ao Forbidden Army. Now they have entered the desert. If they walk fast, they can kill Xin'ao City in just half a month.  Got it!"

Di Renjie didn't seem too panicked. The native rebels were marching north, which he had expected: "Zhong Fu! The messenger sent out to ask for help from Chang'an is about to leave!"

Du Xuewu nodded and said: "We have sent them out! It's just that the road from the mainland of the Tang Dynasty to Australia is far away, and we can't count on it in such a hurry! Senior brother! Now that things have happened, it's better to find another way!"

    Think of another way!

Di Renjie gave a wry smile. What can he do now? It is true that the Tang army is the elite in the world, but facing enemies several times their own, the outcome is unpredictable. Moreover, the most important thing now is the food problem. Australia will all apologize and accept it.  Coupled with the rebellion of the natives, a large number of immigrants took refuge in Beiao, and now there is not much food stored.

The situation was so corrupt that Di Renjie felt deeply ashamed of his trust in Du Rui. Sometimes he really wanted to die, but what would happen to Australia if he died?

Du Xuewu also saw that Di Renjie was somewhat depressed at the moment. If Du Rui were here, he would probably regret leaving Di Renjie here.

Although Di Renjie in history was a famous prime minister of the Tang Dynasty who was capable of both literary and military skills, Di Renjie is still young after all, with a little lack of experience and temperament, and he has never been able to stand alone. Now in this situation, no matter how talented he is, he will be overwhelmed.  .

Du Xuewu braced himself and said, "Senior brother! I have an idea!"

"Oh!" Di Renjie was stunned, looked up at Du Xuewu, and said, "Zhong Fu! Tell me!"

Du Xuewu thought about it in his mind and then said: "Now I can only ask my sister-in-law for help!"

    Luna!

Di Renjie looked at Du Xuewu and was stunned. He had not thought of asking for help from Chief Geluo before. Now, although Chief Geluo is not as powerful as before, he was also elected as an official of the Tang Dynasty in the universal suffrage.  His influence among the Geluo tribe is still considerable, but the question is, is the leader of the Geluo tribe really willing to go to war with his own tribe?

Di Renjie didn't want to embarrass Luna. Although it was Du Rui's intention to marry Luna in the first place, in order to stabilize the situation in Australia and stabilize the people's hearts, but after all, after a long marriage, it was inevitable to fall in love. Although Luna was a foreigner, he treated Di Renjie  That's great, madamThe relationship between the two is also very deep, and Di Renjie doesn't want to put Luna in a dilemma between him and her own race.

Seeing that Di Renjie was still hesitating, Du Xuewu said anxiously: "Brother! The overall situation is more important! Although there are not many people left in the Geluo tribe, they can still make up thousands of warriors, and the leader of the Geluo tribe is among the Australian aborigines.  His position is very respected, and if he comes forward, he might really be able to break the morale of the rebels."

Di Renjie knew what Du Xuewu said, but it was still a little difficult for him to make this determination.

At this moment, Luna suddenly walked in. Luna, who was wearing a Tang suit, looked even more delicate and beautiful. Her perfect figure was highlighted, making people feel dizzy just looking at her. No wonder Luna was married.  But Ou Weng, the young leader of the Haggadah tribe, still misses her.

"Luna! You~~~~~~why are you here!?" Di Renjie said, looking a little flustered.

Du Xuewu was also embarrassed. After all, the idea he just mentioned seemed to be taking advantage of Luna.

Luna first smiled at Du Xuewu, and then said to Di Renjie: "I heard what you just said, and I am willing to ask my father for help!"

Luna¡¯s Chinese is very stiff, but her logic is very clear.

Hearing this, Di Renjie hurriedly said: "Luna! You, a female prostitute, don't get involved in military and national affairs. Go back to the back house quickly! You have to deal with the matters here as your own husband!"

Luna did not leave, but walked to Di Renjie's side, took Di Renjie's hand, and said with affectionate eyes: "No! I don't understand any military affairs, but I know that my husband can't help but frown every day.  , Oweng¡¯s rebellion keeps my husband up all night, it makes my heart hurt, I want to help my husband, there is nothing wrong with that!¡±

When Di Renjie heard this, it was impossible not to be moved, but~~~~~~~

"But, Luna! Those who rebelled are all your kindred!"

Luna smiled miserably. It was obvious that she did not want her husband to go to war with her tribe: "They are my tribe. Ou Weng still cared about me very much back then. The Haggard tribe was still in the most difficult time of the Glo tribe.  I have extended a helping hand, but now they are my husband¡¯s enemies, and they are my enemies! There is no need for pity and sympathy when dealing with enemies!¡±

Di Renjie gave a bitter smile and said: "Now that the situation is corrupt, why bother involving the Glo tribe anymore!"

Luna smiled and said: "Husband! Everyone in the Glo tribe, regardless of men, women, old or young, is the most outstanding warrior. They regard fighting as their life. Now they are all waiting for your call. As long as you give an order, they will do anything.  Don¡¯t hesitate to join this war!¡±

In fact, it is not just the Geluo tribe. There are many indigenous tribes in Australia that support the Tang Dynasty. Because with the arrival of immigrants from the Tang Dynasty, they learned to farm and no longer had to live a life of no fixed abode.  The immigrants from the Tang Dynasty also brought many novel things, including porcelain, silk, and various delicacies, which made them crazy about them.

In the eyes of these natives, there is nothing wrong with immigrants from the Tang Dynasty coming to mainland Australia. This place is so big that there is no problem of living space at all.

Seeing that Luna said this, Di Renjie was naturally very moved and said: "Luna! Thank you for my husband!"

Luna smiled and said: "We are husband and wife, what else can we thank you for? I will go find my father and ask him to organize an army to help you fight together!"

Luna left with a smile. Di Renjie couldn't help but feel heartbroken. He knew how much sadness and helplessness was hidden behind this smile. No one was willing to wave swords and guns against his own people. But at this juncture, Luna had to make a choice.  .

Du Xuewu waited for Luna to leave before saying, "I didn't expect my wife to understand justice so well!"

Di Renjie did not respond, but said: "Zhong Fu! Let's put this matter aside for now, you and I should think about how to end it after the situation in Australia stabilizes!"

Regarding this matter, Du Xuewu had already had a clue. He admitted that his previous gentle policy towards the Australian natives was too much, which made the natives forget about the sharp swords and guns of the Tang Dynasty. Only then did Ou Weng raise his voice and respond.  The phenomenon of gatherings of people.

    ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????OUTOUT OFFICE

"Senior brother! My previous ideas were a bit extreme. Those natives are still immature. It is still a bit reluctant to let them understand the family, country and world. In their minds, tribe is everything. This has led to the current rebellion.  The momentum is growing. Since the natives do not care about the kindness of the Tang Dynasty, it is time to let them know the power of the Tang Dynasty.Strict!  "

Du Xuewu¡¯s words were not stated clearly, but the meaning was already obvious, that is, to stop killing with killing!

Although Di Renjie was a little embarrassed about this because of Luna, he would not object, because if thunderous measures were not used, the natives would not surrender at all.

"Zhong Fu! It's too early to say this now. Let's wait until we win this battle!"

Du Xuewu was not too worried about the victory over the native rebels. Although the rebel forces had already swept across Central Australia and South Australia, this was also the reason why Datang deliberately avoided it.

The Australian continent is really too big. If the rebels are not attracted to the actual control area of ??the Tang Dynasty, once the decisive battle is hastily, it will be considered a victory. At that time, the native rebels will flee in all directions, or simply hide and beat the sap.  With the current power of the Tang Dynasty in Australia, it is simply unable to cope with it. In this case, it is better to gather together and annihilate them.

Although the current strength of the Tang Army is not large, with only more than 20,000 men, these 20,000 men are all cavalry. Horses are not produced on the Australian continent. These horses were originally traded with the Tang people when Feng Yi was trying to separate Australia.  income.

The 20,000 elite cavalry of the Tang Dynasty may still be a bit weak, but if they can get the support of tribal leaders such as Ge Luo and organize a servant army, it is not impossible to win this battle.

Du Xuewu smiled and said: "Senior brother, don't worry, as long as Mrs. Sister-in-law can convince the Geluo clan leader to help him, winning this battle should not be a problem!"

Du Xuewu seemed confident, but Di Renjie was not as optimistic as he was. When Du Rui left Australia Road, he had explained to him in detail the situation of Australia Road and nearby islands.

If it were just Ou Weng's rebels, they wouldn't need the assistance of the Geluo tribe at all. The Tang army could solve it, and at least it could keep Bei'ao in peace. But the problem is that Ou Weng now has the support of the Maori people.

"Zhong Fu! The two armies are facing each other! You must not underestimate the enemy, otherwise, you will suffer a big loss!" Di Renjie reminded.

Du Xuewu smiled and said: "Senior brother, don't worry. I will naturally not underestimate those rebels. They can sweep over half of Australia, so they are quite capable!"

    Australian Aboriginal rebel camp.

It was already dark now, and Feng Bao was sitting alone in the tent, unable to contain his excitement. His first step in revenge was about to succeed. Although Du Rui was not here, it was the same if he could kill Du Rui's son.

Just as he was thinking about it, he suddenly felt a gust of cold wind coming, causing Feng Bao's muscles to curl up, followed by a chill on his neck. Feng Bao knew that there was a sharp sword on his neck without looking back.

"Grandpa Feng! You are indeed here!"
