¡°Since you are an emperor and your actions affect the world, you cannot do things that please you.¡±

Chen De's tone deepened and he said: "Hanchan has been returning to Jinling to contact the old Shenwei headquarters for some time. There are also those Jinling merchants. Let them come to Jiujiang to see me once so that they can be reassured."

When Jinling fell, Chen De distributed the industrial coefficient of the Divine Guard Army to the merchants who originally operated it. In addition to collecting a small amount of money and materials, they all turned into millions of IOUs.  These businessmen were good at dancing. After the Song army occupied Jiangnan, they quickly established relationships with the newly arrived officials, and most of them were able to continue operating their original industries.

After Chen De took in the Qiang warriors to form the White Feather Army in Dijinze, he already knew the actions of the various tribes in the party.  He transferred Gou Luo'an, who had performed well in Xiazhou, back to the south of the Yangtze River. As a big businessman who had returned home in glory, he contacted the southern merchants who were originally related to the Divine Guards.  The ultimate goal is to compile a commercial network for Hexi in the Jiangnan states to facilitate the sale of goods and the collection of supplies.  After all, Hexi currently only occupies key areas and has not yet formed a large and powerful domestic demand market.  After experiencing the partial peace in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, Jiangnan was now the eastern part of the Eurasian continent, and it was also the place with the most abundant products and the most abundant people in the world.

Ten days later, Yuhou Linzhong, the capital of the Xiaowu Army, was extremely depressed to learn that he would lead a thousand forbidden troops to protect and monitor Chen De, the military governor of Anxi, to the south of the Yangtze River to award a gold plaque to the Chen family of Yimen.  "Is it possible that Gao De is causing trouble?" Lin Zhong looked at the gentle and lovely wife Wang, and in his heart he only felt sorry for her. She had been sent to the northwest for nearly two years. This timid Wang was in  Bianliang kept the festival for him.  Every day, she and her maid do some needlework at home, and then let the maid take it to the market shop to sell some small money to supplement the family's income. In addition, she also serves the old parents in the forest wholeheartedly.  During this period, Gaode repeatedly invited friends to come and harass her, but she always scolded her and left.  Fortunately, Wang was the only daughter of Wang Fengguo, the former leader of the Forbidden Army, and many of the Imperial Guards had his father's legacy. Although Gao De was a playboy who ran rampant in Bianliang and bullied men and women, he could not easily use force on her.

"I am on business in the south of the Yangtze River this time. My wife likes southern silks, pearls, perfumes and other things. I will bring you back for my husband." Lin Zhong raised his hands and let Wang, who was kneeling behind him, take off the hard clothes for him.  Leather Belt asked in a deliberately gentle tone.  The only advantage of being in the border area is that you can make a lot of extra money.  Whether it was for breaking the feudal lord's free plunder or for being rewarded by ordinary officials, Lin Zhong had accumulated all of them. He did not dare to ask anyone to carry them back with him, so he only wrapped them around his waist. After returning to Bianliang with Dong Zunzhao, he kept them.  When the gold, silver and jade pieces scattered around her waist were shaken out, Ms. Wang, who had never seen so many treasures before, was dumbfounded, while Lin Zhong held her hands full of needle holes, feeling extremely sad.

After a long time, there was silence behind him, "Madam?" Lin Zhong reached back with his hands, held his wife's waist, and gently rubbed it. Wang couldn't hold back the laughter anymore, and climbed on his broad tiger back, crying.  stand up.  During these days, she was really suffering. When she walked out of the forest, it felt like the sky was falling. Although the two elders in the house didn't say it, they thought in their hearts that it was her exposure outside that had caused this disaster. She could only swallow it.  She served her parents-in-law with a strong appearance, and was entangled with Gao De outside the house many times. In critical moments, she almost forced her to death before escaping from the wolf's kiss. After returning from the forest, the meek Wang did not mention any of these things.  Who would have expected that within two months of the couple's reunion, Lin Zhong would have to leave Beijing for business again.

Two days later, Zhang Zhongyao found out from the military officials that the person escorting Chen De was Lin Zhong, Yuhou of Xiaowu City, and then sent several sergeants from the Chengying Battalion who had been in Bianliang to find out the details about Lin Zhong.

"I didn't expect that in the forest is the Song general who broke the banner of your Majesty with a single-handed throw of a spear in Liangzhou. Didn't you send him as a guard to bring trouble to your Majesty?" Director Zhu, the tenth commander of Chengying Camp, said angrily.

The war was over, and Chen De didn't care much about breaking the flag. Instead, he was very interested in the grievances between Lin Zhong and Gao De. "I didn't expect that the story of Lin Chong in 'Water Margin' would have such a similar original version in this world."  . Since I have encountered him, there is no way I should take charge of him." Thinking of this, Chen De said solemnly: "This man in the forest can be considered a good man. I have never seen such a good man being humiliated. Can Captain Zhang think about it?  What's the solution? Teach Gao De a lesson so that he can never take advantage of the lady in the forest again?"

Zhang Zhongyao was stunned, but he didn't expect that what Chen De came up with was actually a decision to meddle in other people's business. He thought that the Lord had nothing to do in Bianliang, or he valued Lin Zhong's skill with a gun and stick, and wanted to take this opportunity to recruit him.  For personal use.  He didn't have time to think about it and said with a smile: "This Gao De relied on his father's power to run rampant in Bianliang and offended many people. Even if we taught him a lesson, he didn't know who did it. Do you want to wake him up?"  Don't you want to provoke that little lady of the Lin family again?"

Chen De thought for a while, frowned and said: "It's easy for people to find out if you wake up to this matter."When it comes to others, it¡¯s better to act in secret.  "

Zhang Zhongyao smiled and said: "This is easy to handle." The people of Bianliang were afraid of dandy boys like Gao De. They all had to live in the same family, and no one would dare to offend these powerful boys.  But the foundations of Zhang Zhongyao and Cheng Yingying were beyond the reach of the Song Dynasty. Not to mention a mere adopted son of Gao Qiong, he was a real important official of the imperial court, and even an official of the current dynasty. Which one Chen De wanted him to take,  Regardless of success or failure, he followed orders without hesitation.  In the late Tang and Five Dynasties, it was common for the prime minister to be assassinated by Jiezhen soldiers.

In the next few days, Zhang Zhongyao arranged for the capable men of Chengying Camp to first find out Gao De's daily habits.  When Gao De and a few friends came out of the Chu Pavilion of Qin Tower, a sergeant transferred from other places pretended to be a gangster, rushed forward, and shouted loudly: "The five hundred guan of money you owe me has been hidden for a few days.  Months later, I finally found you." The sergeant had a sinister face and a fierce look, like a butcher, which immediately frightened several of Gao De's friends and they did not dare to talk to him.

"Brother, have you admitted the wrong person?" Gao De didn't know that he had fallen into the scheme. Unexpectedly, before he finished speaking, the sergeant rushed forward and hit him in the face with a fist. This punch was like an iron handle.  Like a hammer, Gaode's face was covered with tears, snot, blood, and saliva flowed out. His ears were buzzing, his eyes were filled with stars, and he bent down in pain.

His friends saw that something was wrong and were about to shout for help, but the beater shouted loudly: "If you don't pay back the money you owe, you will deserve to be beaten to death." Several tough thugs with big muscles and round waists emerged from behind,  No matter what, he punched to the flesh and beat the helpers around Gao De until they cried for their fathers and mothers.  These Chengyingying battalion sergeants who came from the side to suppress the ruthless soldiers originally had a natural dislike for Jingzhong's father-in-law. "Why should these bastards take over the best women and property first? Grandpas go through life and death, but in the end they are still dismissed."  Life!" Now that they had the opportunity, they all resorted to ruthless attacks. Although it was not fatal, the few bones of the helpers were firmly broken.  When the thugs left and the people who were almost beaten into a ball of mud and paralyzed on the ground looked at each other, they found that something was wrong and Gao Yanei had been taken away.

Just when the scene was in chaos and fighting, Gothe, who was almost knocked unconscious, was pushed and pulled into an alley and stuffed into a shabby ox cart that had been prepared.  The man in front of him looked at him with disgust, and with his palms as big as cattails, he twisted his neck and lifted him up to him like an eagle catching a chicken. One hand held his chin, and the other hand held his strong  He stuffed the mandala ointment pills with medicinal flavor into Gothe's mouth, and closed his mouth up and down with both hands. It wasn't until Gothe swallowed the ointment unconsciously and fell asleep that the man let him go and put down the scarf.  .

In the eastern suburbs of Bianliang City, there is a small medicine shop. Although the business is usually not good, the life of the medicine doctor is quite smooth. The reason is that the doctor also masters a unique craft of purifying people.  When the civil society of the dynasty developed to this stage, purging one's body and entering the palace became a way to get an iron rice bowl. No matter what the surname was when the emperor changed, the father-in-laws would still have something to eat.  However, body cleansing is a unique technique. For example, when Chen De performed one on Cao Zumeng in Jinling, it was rough and ended up costing him his life.  This time, Chen De asked Zhang Zhongyao to stop Gao De from harassing the lady in the forest, and he was not allowed to wake up Gao De. After thinking about it, Zhang Zhongyao decided that it would be safest to cleanse himself directly for Gao De.

When the medicine doctor saw a group of men carrying the sleeping person in on a bed board, he asked, "Why are you so scared that you fainted?" The grown man who carried the person in pulled out a sword like a snowflake and whispered in a low voice.  He shouted: "This man owes a debt, so he was sent to the palace to be a eunuch and earn money to repay it." Several other sturdy men in coarse cloths rushed in without waiting for the doctor to greet them, and then closed the door tightly, and each  Holding the sharp blade in his hand, he looked at the doctor with eager eyes.

The medicine doctor observed the man's words and saw that this man was not telling the truth. He replied calmly: "This idle man who voluntarily purifies himself must first go to the Ministry of War to register, otherwise he will be purified and will not find any job." His eyes rolled.  He turned around and refused to make a move, for fear of implicating himself.

But the man holding the knife said angrily: "It's so wordy, but it's not good to bully grandpa with a sharp knife?" He shook the snowflake iron knife in his hand again, and several big men nearby gathered around him like a group of vultures.  Everyone surrounding the chicken-like doctor looked at him with vicious eyes.

"Bang¡ª¡ª" The doctor was so frightened that his knees weakened and he knelt on the ground. The leading man looked at it with disdain, walked over from behind and threw a heavy baggage in front of the doctor, saying in a deep voice: "This  It's one hundred guan of money, as a reward for doing things for the uncle." The doctor was also greedy for money. His eyes lit up when he saw the copper coins, and he thought that if he didn't do this job, he would have to do it. With this money, he could escape.  To go to other states, he raised his head and promised sadly: "I will obey my orders, little man."

Note 1: Since the end of the Anshi Rebellion in the Tang Dynasty,A separatist regime was formed in the towns. By the time of Emperor Xianzong, Prime Minister Wu Yuanheng (Wu Zetian's great-nephew) and Yushi Zhongcheng Peidu were both representative figures who were responsible for eliminating the feudal towns and pacifying the separatist forces.  In the early morning of the third day of June in the tenth year of Yuanhe (815), before it was fully dark, Wu Yuanheng went out to attend court.  Just as he walked out of the east gate of Jing'anfang, an assassin suddenly hid in the dark and shot Wu Yuanheng with an arrow. Wu Yuanheng's followers dispersed in a rush.  The assassin stepped forward and led Wu Yuanheng's horse for more than ten steps, then calmly killed him, chopped off his head and left.  Later, the assassin entered Tonghuafang to assassinate Pei Du.  Pei Du fell into a ditch. The assassin thought Pei Du was dead, so he stopped chasing and escaped calmly.  Pei Du thus survived.

Note 2: There was a regulation in the Song Dynasty: Anyone who voluntarily purifies himself must first report to the Ministry of War.  This is not a conscription, but the selection of those who require purification seems to be more stringent than ordinary conscription.  Because eunuchs are to be used by the court, those with good looks and even good fortune should be selected.  After making the selection, choose an auspicious day for the surgery.
