    Author: Zhang Yang

Liancheng, facing the Taiwan Strait to the east and on the southeastern coast, is particularly hot in July and August.

This summer, it was extremely hot.  It was nearly noon, and the bright sun was shining brightly. The white sun baked the earth as hot as a furnace.  The air flow seems to have solidified. Occasionally, a wind with the smell of the sea blows from the distant sea, and when it comes close, it turns into slightly hot steam, blowing on the person's body, sticky and thick,  It makes people breathless.

In the work shed, Hei Zai directed the workers to use jacks to turn over a large carved stone lion.

"Okay! Everyone, let's rest for a while and drink some cooling tea!" Hei Zai said as he wiped the sweat from his head, picked up the kettle next to him, took a sip, and spit it out suddenly: "Oh my God  If we don¡¯t let people live anymore, the water must be fifty degrees!¡±

"Damn, the water placed on the stone is smoking" The workers nearby were sweating profusely and threw down their hammers and tools and complained one after another. Some people could not help but look at the water beside the work shed.  He ran to the well and scrambled to get water to take a shower.

"Everyone, please take a rest. It starts at 3pm!" Hei Zai said, putting the towel on his shoulder and walked into the office.  After washing his face with well water, he sat down and took out a piece of white paper from the right drawer of his desk, and drew pictures on it.  This is a picture of Guanyin. The Taiwanese businessman urgently needs the drawing, so he must draw it in the afternoon. Since the fax machine can only hold A-type paper, Qiangzi can only ask Qiangzi to go to the post office to send the drawing to Taiwan.  .

Qiang Zai is a straightforward and honest person.  Qiangzi was uneducated since he was a child, and he and his father went fishing all year round to make a living.  Qiang Zai and Hei Zai have been neighbors since they were young. They grew up wearing crotchless pants together, and they are brothers and sisters.  Therefore, he is keen to connect Hei Zai and Mingzhu, and he never tires of it.

Summer is a good season for love, and the beautiful coastal scenery has become a good place for lovers to whisper and fall in love.

Ming Zhu and Hei Zai often date and are inseparable.  Hei Zai was very talkative, but Ming Zhu didn't talk much.  But she always listened to him with interest.  He liked to disclose a little bit of worldly affairs to a person who had never seen the world (not just some bad fashions and bad habits, but those things that were prevalent in the world that were unique and interesting), and she was very willing to accept the new ideas he provided.  Follow the pictures he paints into new territory.  Hei Zai tells Mingzhu that all his knowledge comes from books, and books are more important to him than his own life.  Their common hobbies and common language make them obsessed with each other.

Wang Fen, who has always been secretly in love with Hei Zai, knows that Mingzhu loves him deeply, but she always pretends to be confused.  In front of Mingzhu, Wang Fen always behaves considerately towards Hei Zai. She often describes her love for Hei Zai in front of Mingzhu, and expresses that she will never marry anyone other than Hei Zai in her life.  This makes the simple pearl often get confused about this.

Time flies by so fast, and in a blink of an eye it¡¯s the crisp autumn season.

One morning, Mingzhu read the recruitment notice from the newspaper for "Star Hotel", a subsidiary of "Xiamen Nebula Group".  It is a three-star hotel in Xiamen, a Sino-foreign joint venture; its business scope is guest rooms and catering.  The newspaper stated that the hotel is recruiting a group of front desk waiters, majoring in tourism, with a junior high school education required, and a monthly base salary of 700 RMB. It is also urgently recruiting two hotel reserve cadres, with a high school diploma required, and additional conditions.  Must have more than one year of hotel front desk experience, and must also know a foreign language. Salary: base salary of 1,200brm per month.  Starting from the first year after the contract, RMB 100 will be added every three months, with a cap after one year; in addition, a year-end bonus will be issued every year based on total sales.

"Wow! A star-rated hotel, that is an elegant place!" Mingzhu was overjoyed after seeing it, and felt itchy. It seemed that it was the place she had been dreaming of for a long time.

"Dad! There is a recruitment information here. I believe you will be satisfied after reading it!" Mingzhu quickly came to her father's side and handed over the newspaper in her hand.  When the father saw it, his eyes lit up, he thought for a while and said to Mingzhu:

"Yes, this is a formal company, and the treatment is not bad!"

¡°Dad, so you don¡¯t object to me going to work there?¡± She asked her father happily.

"Haha,,, of course I don't object, this is a famous company. You can learn some knowledge there,,, go ahead, kid, work hard, don't let dad down!" the father encouraged.

"That's great!" Mingzhu said happily, and her first thought at this time was to tell Hei Zai the news as soon as possible.

In the evening, Mingzhu came to Dutou as promised. The stone wall beside the road had been exposed to wind and rain for many years, showing an indescribable turbid white color, and cracks crisscrossed it, making it appear to be crumbling.  The lights of the surrounding fishermen have been turned off, and the melodious sound of conchs can be heard in the distance.  The scent of broken bowl flowers and pine trees on the hillside blend together, blowing along the breeze across the hillside.road.  "Mingzhu pretended to be angry.

"Stop being so vindictive and come up here!"

"Okay! But you must agree to one condition!" She began to imitate his tone.

"Okay, okay, tell me quickly!" Hei Zai said.

"Tell me the answer to the riddle you just said!"

"You ghost, Prince Charming was stunned by Snow White's bad breath! Haha" Hei Zai looked up to the sky and laughed like a ghost.

"Giggle" Mingzhu was also amused by him, laughing so hard that she couldn't breathe: "You, you, you made it up yourself"

"Would you still laugh otherwise? Jump up quickly!" Hei Zai said seriously.  Jumped in the car, the two of them chatted and laughed all the way.

"Go there and concentrate on your work. Don't run around everywhere. Spend more time reading books and improving your self-cultivation. Studying is not to decorate your appearance or be elegant, but to enrich your knowledge and cultivate your life! Do you know?  "At the door of Mingzhu's house, he reluctantly warned her.  After saying that, he patted her head lovingly and gently.  Mingzhu smiled and said nothing.

Looking at the girl in front of him, he really couldn't imagine what it would be like for her to be in a strange place like that.  He reluctantly held her in his arms and refused to let go for a long time.

It was late at night and everyone was asleep. At this time, not far away, there was a shadow standing in the darkness, silently watching their every move.

"It's very late, go back!" Mingzhu urged Heizai.

"Can you call me as soon as you arrive in Xiamen tomorrow?"

    "Okay!" She nodded reluctantly.

"I'm leaving, you should rest early!" After saying that, he got into the car and floated away like a gust of wind.
